I got mixed in to some gamergate crap today and it took up a tremendous amount of my time. Basically someone contacted me out of the blue asking me to leak a few years worth of irc logs. The whole thing is a convoluted mess and I feel like I'm playing IRL mafia. I doubt I'll be doing ISOs before deadline but we'll see what the morning brings.

 

Was it related to Srh?

But yes.  FFS is a high-traffic place that's been around for going on 20 years.  I could chat about it elsewhere, maybe D&D or privately.

I might do that too, actually.  It's becoming too reminiscent of Belichick where he skated by for days saying nothing but "Talya is scum".  Except she happened to be his scum mate.

I don't know why you're upset. I told you, you were going to love what I did at EoD2, and now I solve the game.

 

I mean, its probably a little not cool to throw my warrior princess into the fire as a possible martyr, bit its also not cool to not skypewhisper into somebodys ear while inebriated.

Don't. If he comes up clean, were no better off than we are now. You should peek one the remaining poe players. If you hit mafia, that should ice it, and a town result let's you make him your F3 tinfoil.

Solve the game outside of me, I'm town; I will not be lynched. We can start from the POE with Hally and work out from there. There's no way we can lose at this point if you're telling the truth.

 

As for the second part... yeah totally not cool, man. See if I ever VC with you around again :rolleyes:

OK.  Let's play this out, assuming for a second that you are actually the townie seer looking for deep cover cred, and not either scum or a VT helping blow my cover as the seer:

 

Clov hardclaimed seer.  That leaves two options (well, objectively speaking it leaves three, but since I peeked him town let's leave out scum!Clov for the nonce):

 

1) He's lying (which he is) to draw the NK as cover for the real seer, since he knows that the seer surviving to tomorrow effectively locks the game; or

 

2) He's telling the truth and hoping the mafia don't believe it and kill someone else (god, I love a good WIFOM)

 

Either way, the thing for any townie to do today is to continue to claim peeks and provide seer cover - whether for Clov or for the actual seer. 

 

So, town!Thane, could you tell me what your thought process is for NOT doing that?

And just so I'm clear: I expect to hardclaim tomorrow with 3 live townies in my pocket (or a scumpeek on Zander), so I expect that Clov and everyone else will affirmatively drop their claims tomorrow.  But today, I'd like you to still pretend to actually be the seer.
