I admit to not being able to read you very well. So sorry but I can't clear your slot because of AJ's "case" on me. I'm not sure if it's because you guys are scum looking for a mislynch or he "forgot" how to read me or what. But that's still rubbing me the wrong way. Like - enough that I might have vigged you last night given the opportunity.

Ok, a few things before today's analysis:

 

1) Is there a restriction on the number of times Seph will come back? This role is new to me as well

 

2) Re Talya on the last page, here was the order of things 

--I come in and joke vote Leelou at the beginning of the game

--We begin actually playing, Leelou and Dice both do things I'm not incredibly fond of

--I don't like either Dice or Leelou in my first big long post. I try to vote dice, both because I thought he was scummy and because I thought it would give me more info on Leelou, who I was also thought was scum

--End of day comes. No one else has looked at dice. Leelou is getting pressure. I still think both of them are scum. My vote is accidentally still on Leelou anyway, and not much time is left. Why would I move my vote? 

 

3) @Yates above--last night you'd already been cased many times, and though I had liked your initial read ups there had been a lack of your town play; but life. I wanted to see where other people took it. 

 

4) Ok Csarmi, I want you to sit down and think for a second. I've been doing my best to ignore your behavior, but enough is enough. 

 

You have put a few thoughts in, you have given some lists and some stuff like that. But here's what's in my notes that is leaving a prevailing impression:

--two cat fights

--one additional near cat fight

--one temporary emo-quit

--goading another player and then complaining when they not-so-nice things to you

--having a dismissive and belittling attitude towards other people.

 

Then today: while you might be "calm" your actions and your demands are in fact throwing a tantrum. You are not clear because by the perspective of many of us, you have not been acting in the best interests of town, and this situation is not helping that. I would rather lynch scum today, and while I'm definitely not going to call you clear, you are not certain scum either. 

 

All of this together has been difficult to put up with all game, it's really not gaining you anything, and in my opinion it's crossing the line to "outside the spirit of the game" as you are more interested in your own vanity than actually playing to your win condition (whatever it might be). We're all under suspicion by somebody; get over it. Now go sit in the corner and do your pouting there until you're ready to actually play. 

 

Consider this a slap on the wrist by a DM Staff Member. 

 

And Hallia, sorry for addressing it this way. More than willing to have some sort of consequence for it if you feel I am overstepping my bounds.

I thought you were saying you didn't know why you still felt uneasy about me. You are saying you don't know why you WOULD have a town read on me. Understood.

 

Well... as someone that has been "owned hard" by my scum game, you probably should have some sense of how I pulled that off. There are a few things I could point out that make me Town but really it's probably easier to tell you how I'm not scum... All you should need to understand how I'm not part of this scum team has already played out. Two dead scum PR's and the way those lynches went down? NB alive? No Town PR's dead [permanently]? Please. Not on my watch. Also, part of the reason AJ's summary was BS is because I get excited when I roll scum. Even if I didn't want to be thread present, I'd at least be up on the thread enough to help make tactical decisions in the scum QT.

 

And I feel like this is something you WOULD know. Like - this stuff is pretty obvious.

Yeah. Again, this is the same nonsense I heard from AJ in the other game. It's a half truth. I was/am in the bottom two or three on everyone's POE. I feel like it's my job to make it clear why I'm Town. At the same time, I'm trying to be thread present as of Day 2 and make as many intelligent observations as I can knowing that I simply didn't read roughly 90 pages of content. So I'm doing what I can to respond in real time and that's helping ME find scum. You also must have just missed my recent conversations with NB and Heart I guess?

I know you have brass balls as both town and scum and are willing to completely invert your play whenever you feel like it.  Why do you say no town PR's dead aside from Seph?  Durin could have been one, no?  It's true that I wouldn't have expected this kind of performance from a scum team you were on, but everyone has off days and I could say the same for Verb and Leelou.  Going forward, I'll probably have an easier time reading you from your posts about others than from those about yourself, because I just can't ever trust you.

Post Counts mean nothing. Im ALWAYS near the bottom of post counts even when i have a GOATTown game. You cannot rely on post counts  they might FEED your thinking but they should not BE your thinking..

 

NB for eg could post 1000 times  but if they are his 1 line posts he is really only giving the info youd get in say 50 posts? that make sense?

 

 

 

Sili you are an example of this. You jump up with Ive posted 300 times! As Im typing we currently have 4 495 posts in the game.    make that 96 as someone just wrote something. Normal Sili volume in that size game?  Id say more normal is about 1000. Then theres the fact that apparently you have 300 posts....yet I could not off the top of  my head say what you have said this game. I know youve been here   but you have left no mark

Only problem with that is that if you're 20 pages behind everyone you just don't know if the point you're trying to make has been discussed, and I would rather not harp on something people have finished with.

Personally, this is how I do it almost all the time...unless we are close to a lynch...this way we get your reads as you go.  Right now, I'm responding to this knowing I have more pages yet to read.  Some players criticize but it is what it is.

I think my problem with dice and heart and sooh can best be summed up with I haven't seen them around as much since town has started winning. Mostly it's sooh because in addition to not having the post count, she's lacking in content, but I think it generally applies to all 3.

i understand your thought process on Post count though I feel a little different on the matter.  but half the reason your leaning to sooh is because of her post count?
