Well catching up from when I went to work took a lot shorter than I thought it would. Only 10 pages. one whole page of an eaten Salami post :P

 

Time to go back and read EoD. I somehow haven't read either yet.

 

I'm also contemplating whether or not I should character reveal.

 

On the one hand, I like the idea of catching a mafia in a claim. Leia is a ballzy claim. I don't know how good the mafia's fake claims are, if they even have any. They might have to wing it.

 

On the other hand, I don't like the idea of my character being a safe claim cuz I got wiped.

 

@Seph I'm glad you're interested in my input. I'll let you know if I have any new information after I read the EoD's. If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Whoa and a half guys! 30 pages since I left off last night. 

 

Can I ask that we don't rush this though? I was kinda stupid in Mass Effect and taunted Verb to vote for me early, and that really hurt town because they could have gotten so much more information in that day phase. I would also like to hear from them both (or all three of them) before a lynch happens. 

 

At this point I'm going to go back to read at least those two in ISO, and I'm sorta with Alannalynn in that if that's where we're sure to find mafia, that's the way we should go. 

 

Sili - I thought I explained fairly well why I didn't find Heart scummy until later. Do you need me to go over it again? Because I will if it helps you. 

 

At some point during this day phase I want to go over and make a reads list again, but I am feeling confident in quite a few town reads now, and that's good. I feel like we're doing well here.

Hi all. I apologize for making this brief appearance yesterday. My internet was horrible all day. I could barely open a webpage without having to refresh several times and those of you who saw me on skype yesterday know how annoyed I was by my internet. 

 

Im on page 50 and no. Verbal is the lynch. Sooh is just my pet project.

I didn't know if that would happen while I was asleep all night, so I posted it.

So as I tried to show on the last page, Yates didn't really fell that scummy to me.  I had him as null possible scum only as a product of elimination.  AJ's go at Yates the other day felt really contrived to me.  I found it odd that he was voting Yates in the first place when Verbal was a better target, but I also thought it wasn't a bad idea to push Yates and see how he reacts.  So that didn't immediately bother me.

 

When Yates came in blazing and said Talya and/or AJ must be scum, AJ argued that town Yates wouldn't make this sort of uninformed decision, and that he was contradicting himself by accusing Talya after reading her town.

 

But Yates read Talya town ages ago.  And if Yates knows he's town and sees a skilled player like AJ voting him, he is going to think something fishy is going on.  Yates' reaction felt natural to me.  A town Yates had cause to be a bit ticked off.  AJ's conviction felt contrived.  I didn't see why he should be so angry.  At first I thought I thought he was just pressuring Yates in order to get a better read, but this post pinged the hell out of me:

 

The fact Yates is immediately deciding that those voting him are scum is telling.

He's establishing a scenario where it must be me/Talya or him without even being caught up.

It's wolfy AF, don't buy into the fake confidence. Yates is pretty much just outing himself ITT and Shad wants to clear him lol

 

Getting slammed for wanting to hear out a player I hadn't been reading as scum felt crazy.  AJ had been the one to go after Yates before Yates showed back up, but no one really followed him no that because Verbal was a much more obvious target.  With this post my assumption that AJ was just trying to get Yates to engage us went out the window.  It felt like AJ was misjudging his capacity to lead the train and thought he could powerhouse a quick lynch on Yates.  I was the first person to suggest we should hear Yates out and he straight up mocked me over it.

 

So basically as a consequence of the AJ/Yates argument I was pretty convinced AJ was wolf, at the time.  I thought he was trying to put off a Verbal lynch for a phase to give his scum mate Verbal time to get back and clear his name while Yates went down in a mislynch.

 

I ISO'd AJ tonight (last night) and I'm not really feeling it too much anymore.  His game outside of the Yates scuffle feels town to me, and I've liked Wombat all along.  But I definitely think Yates came out on top during that clash.

 

Yates is also the only other person that picked up on the "slip" about the quantity of information scum gained through janitoring Darthe.  I think it's interesting that he pointed it out about AJ, because I noticed it with Dice.  If I had to guess from the context I'd say Yates was ISOing AJ and didn't actually see my post.

 

So I don't know what to make of the two of them.  Is it possible they're both v?--AJ misguided and Yates just defending himself?  Both at some point implied they were pretty much 99% sure the other was wolf.

 

If AJ is wolf, the slip was probably real and it points to Dice, who AJ defended over it and who was also declared cleared town by Verbal before the end of D1.

If Yates is wolf, I'd feel really good about Dice and obviously AJ.  Hard for me to believe that whole brawl was staged.  Sooh or maybe AH as targets.

 

I haven't slept in over 24 hours so take all of that with a grain of salt.  Going to bed now.  <_<

Ok. I'm up the the point that Therbal claimed cop. My stomach is twisting at the unvotes, because of the knowledge that they are indeed scum. That is how this works, though. You don't lynch the claimed cop.

 

Here's some thoughts I have so far.

 

 

 

Verb, what do you think of those that have said where she would her teammates in her lists. Where do you think they would be?

 

I think I missed those posts, but I'll say that scum!Leelou will always include a wolfbro in her wolf list, and the others would be spread between village & null.

 

 

Verb is supporting my idea that there is scum in Leelou's bottom list. I really am not sure what to do with this.

 

The WIFOM is strong in this one.

You are here.  That's awesome.  I think the probability of you not getting lynched right now is low.  So please take this to heart.  I understand you know Leelou better than most, and you're one of the best players still alive right now.  If you are town, do us a favor and analyze the situation with Leelou and who it points to as much as you can.  Give us your thoughts on AJ/Wombat, Yates, Sooh, and especially Talya in the context of this game.  You had really informative things to say about Talya last game as v.   I know you probably can't read everything, but take a hard look at where Yates and AJ got into a big argument last night.

To give you some guidance: Laine, Seph, Zander, and myself are pretty much in the clear unless you want to humor w going out of their way to bus a godfather with a competing train (AH train pushed by Leelou initially, Laine train pushed by Wombat and two dead v's near the end).  Eldrick and to a lesser extent Csarmi NotBob and Dice are mostly regarded as town leans but weren't involved in ratting out and lynching Leelou.

AH and Sili are both probably town but behave very oddly.

 

If you're going to flip town, leave us with a treasure trove of information to analyze come N2 please.  :)

 

Shad looks really good with this post. This comes from someone that doesn't know Verb's alignment, and on the offchance he was Town, this info would have been awesome.
