Already established Eldrick was a wolf when he voted verb for having "too many townies" based on verb quoting the roster. The unvote just made it apparent to the rest of you I guess.

 

New player, somewhat uncomfortable, searched for something easy to latch onto in early game that he could get away with and then realized it was a mistake so he tried to back out of it.

 

Eldrick if you wanna spew your teammates it'd really help speed up this process.

I'd love to, because you're right. It would speed up the game dramatically. Unfortunately I have no idea who they are.

I think it's hilarious that my actions are getting pressure. My vote was not a serious one. When I continued reading, and found out others had voted him, I unvoted.

 

Laine voted me before I had even posted, and now she's just looking for a reason to keep it there.

 

Darthe says he N0 viewed me villager, and is now voting me. Nice consistency.

I didn't think it was a serious vote until you took it seriously.

I'm feeling pretty comfortable with Eldrick so far.  "While listing everyone as town doesn't sit well for me, it's not worth lynching over" is an awkward statement, but maybe just a weak attempt to prod Verbal?  I like his style of self-defense.  It felt natural, common sense, nothing to hide.

 

Alannalynn voted Eldrick before he ever showed up to the thread.  She hopped all over him after the above quote with shallow accusations, seemed like she chose her target first and dug for incrimination afterwards.

 

Darthe voted Eldrick for his obvious joke post "Town reading too many people so early", not the awkwardly-worded unvote.  I don't like that.

 

Since I don't know any of you, it's hard for me to say much about Alannalynn or Darthe here.  This might just be their styles to prod people early on and get better feels of them.  I don't think I'll be voting Eldrick any time soon though.

 

It would be nice to see Verbal put out a little more content, since he's on the hot seat too.

I do read the whole thread before posting, I don't like saying things that are already said, and I want to bring something new to the thread if I'm going to post. As to always being in catch up mode, I'm not always always.    I have a job and tend to miss all the more active times, but am generally free on the weekends and early mornings.

No, I just don't like that he made a joke vote then got squeamish about it after the fact because he didn't realize he was adding a third vote (we're only 5? pages in, I don't see why he couldn't look ahead to see a VC anyways). Feels like he's trying to avoid attention early in the game. I normally get a town read from Eldrick, not getting one right now. His backtracking is throwing me off.  I'm happy leaving my vote there for pressure though.

Eldrick's vote did seem bandwagon-ey, but he did retract it pretty much immediately. I'd normally take that as misplay, and i'm certainly not going to hold taking Darthe's play seriously against him as it is only due to other games that i know it was probably a joke. 

 

Votes notwithstanding, Eldrick's accusers are Alanna, Darthe, Sili and Hallia. Possibly NotBob as well. Five people gunning for one target on Day 1? I'd say you could guarantee one mafia in that list, if not two.

 

The only other lead is supposedly Verb's activity (too active and then not active). Still not overly interested in that argument as i don't think it would be that indicative. On an activity note, i have services all day tomorrow so might get a chance to check in by mobile between rehearsals, but probably not around til Monday.

Define 'normally'. We haven't played together in years, and I was mafia up until my last game counting since I came back.

Ok, so this early in the game, it is mostly a jokey/everything is silly stage, therefore I could understand Eldrick posting and responding to something without reading all of the way. Not something I'd recommend (and after my last game, I of all people should know) but it's understandable this early, and I feel like Alanna/AJ/Laine is a little overbearing in her response (posy 78). Sooh's notice of that felt natural enough to me, and rung to me similar to how I've seen Sooh respond as town in the past. Yates likes this but NotBob doesn't. Out of all of that, the main thing that pings slightly is Laine's post for me. Everyone else just seems to have various opinions that don't necessarily agree. I'll have to continue to see how reactions go. 

 

Something about Shad's post is sticks out to me, but I can't put my finger on what it is. I like the responses given to the various topics.
