In space no one can hear you scream.

USCSS Nostromo, a commercial towing ship, is returning to Earth with her seven-member crew (Dallas, Ripley, Lambert, Brett, Kane, Ash, and Parker) in stasis. Upon discovering a mysterious transmission from a nearby planetoid - LV-426, the ship's computer, Mother, awakens the crew. Nostromo lands on the planetoid and a search party is sent out to investigate, Captain Dallas, Executive Officer Kane, and Navigator Lambert. The party finds that the signal is coming from a derelict spacecraft, as they search for the origin, they find the remains of a large creature. His ribcage has exploded from the inside. Behind them, a creature stirs...
