to answer BFG in case anyone else wants to know as well     the mafia reads come from my catch up read. I came out of it with a strong feeling that lily and leelou are mafia. But what i dont have cause i read it fast is the details. I cant sit here and say "lily said this and lily said that which makes me think" That feel is what i was voting off. i haven't had time  or tbh enuff motivation to go digging back thru all those pages to find the stuff esp as ISO isnt working for me.

 

Leelous responses couple with that feel is what started me on her yesterday. She justified them so i went with them.

Dr. Vanessa Calder knew, as the Warehouse doctor, that it wouldn't be long before they came for her. She slowly crept up and down the aisles of the artifacts. She knew something wasn't right when Pete and Myka didn't show up for the meeting. She figured her enemies were somewhere inside. She was careful to not touch anything as she moved about. After all, a lot of these artifacts were extremely dangerous. She turned the corner, listening for any noise. She pulled out her tesla gun and walked the next aisle. When she got to the end she paused. Was that scraping she heard?

 

She didn't get the chance to find out... for a she turned the corner she was tripped and landed inside Alice's long glass. She looked out at the very evil Alice, who was disguised a the good doctor herself. She knew he friends were in grave danger now!

I just ISO's Lily to check some stuff she'd said early Day 1, and this sort of jumped out because of the font size.

 

My current reads:

 

Town reads – Dice, Eldrick, Pral (buying the mason claim for now), Hallia, Cass, Sili, Yates (ditto), Not Bob, Verbal

 

Rest of the group where scum is likely to be found – Leelou, Alanna, Thane, Dawn, Sooh, Wombat

 

 

This is where I'm at for now. I confess, the reads are mostly gut at this point.

 

Town reads – Pral (buying the mason claim for now), Cass, Yates (ditto), Not Bob, Verbal, Leelou, Eldrick

 

Rest of the group where scum is likely to be found –Nolder, Sooh, Wombat, Hallia, Alanna, Dice

 

 

I've been thinking all along that the Hallia/Alanna thing was town on town, but that post of Alanna's pinged, and I'm reconsidering.

First time I read her reads I liked the off the cuff nature of them, I don't like that the second group is identical, I feel like something should have shifted.

 

Given there's a 30 minute time gap between the posts, I'm not sure what could have changed in that time (although I guess I'll now be going to have a look)

 

The font size is because I c&ped it from a Word doc. I keep my fonts large so I can properly see them. I'm really nearsighted.

So inbetween Alanna quotes a bunch of posts from Hallia, but otherwise it seems similar to stuff that was already being said from Sili's lynch, so nothing to explain the change. However just before Lily posts about them being town/town Leelou posts this which makes me pause a little.  Lily can you explain your reads/change thereof?

 

 

 

 

 

Before we lynch Wombat, can we hear from Nolder, Sooh, and Cass? I think having their opinions on the Wombat wagon will be helpful later.

 

I second this.

 

The more I sit on the prospect of Wombat being scum, the more I'm feeling he's not. I don't think it's true that he always vote-hops on Day 1 as town. He does sometimes, but not all the time. Whether he does it less as scum, I'm not sure. I would love it if someone could point me to a scum!Wombat game in the last year or so. He was scum in Nolder's Shire game, but he also said before the game started that he wouldn't be very active and he wasn't, so I don't think it's a good example of a typical Day 1 for him as scum. Before that, I think the last time I played with him and he was scum was Lily's Disney game - nearly a year ago - and he was recruited like, Night 2 or something, so that doesn't count either.

 

And the distinction between what he said about Sili's frustrated tone sounding like someone who was caught, versus what he said about Sili should be getting frustrated at EOD - I get that completely. He was saying two different things there.

 

I don't know. He's still mostly null to me, but I won't lynch him while he's null.

 

 

If Wombat flips scum, this post isn't going to look good. 

 

 

I was just going to say that. A few things Alanna have said really aren't sitting right with me. 

 

 

My reads didn't really change. Alanna was in the group that I didn't feel particularly town on. And I didn't see anything particularly scummy on either side of the Alanna/Hallia exchange. Then Alanna pinged me.

Starting here with updated notes/summaries for of each remaining player. This is basically where my head is at. Order is least to most suspicion:

 

 

 

Verbal - Innocent Child, mod-confirmed.

 

 

Dice - Still mostly Town to me. Votes Hallia early on, pushes her later for putting OMGUS vote on him 2hrs before DL. Accusatory tone and persistence still meta suggestive of Town. First vote on Leelou.

 

 

Not Bob - Still not sure on motives/alignment. Shows logical progression, more forthcoming with reasons for votes. Concerned about switch of vote from Eldrick to Sili D1 for 'slip'/semantics. Repeatedly FOS/discredits Eldrick but hasn't stuck with vote. Quick vote on Alanna after Arsis claim/prior questioning is concerning. Mentions he could move vote to Leelou, spectates EOD but doesn't move his vote.

 

 

Pral - Don't like initial post/claim/tone. Don't like lurking/absence at EoDs 1 & 2. Played along with mason claim. Understands early votes on Sili. Votes Alanna early based on over-defensiveness and vote on Sili, then does not post for rest of D2. Gets involved at EoD3, draws attention to Verbal giving both Sili/Wombat Town leans, votes Verbal.

 

 

Wombat - Voted early on Sili D1, never removed (?easy mislynch). Some semantics/deflection explaining vote/stance on Sili D2 with pressure from Verb (joined by Hallia). Vote on Arsis D2 explained.

 

 

Eldrick - This one is based on not liking possible motives behind D1 of his at all, and admittedly a great big deal of gut. Didn't like the persistent push at masons or the flippant tone. Having seen him play mafia in the Arthurian game, I do not believe he is derpTown. Certain slips and opportunistic actions that he's made amongst the rest stand out more to me. Still a potential for associative bias and possibly just how he plays.

 

 

Hallia - More active and investigative than I've ever seen her (?null). Tone sounds aggressive/pushy/deflective (?scum). Don't like EoD1 vote on Dice/snipe about Sili. Push on Dice seems OMGUS/weak. Flip-flopping stance on Eldrick and scum v. derptown. Initial vote D2 seemed sheepish. Need to re-look at interactions with Yates/Alanna. Super fast switch vote to Alanna after Arsis, after declaring that she thought her Town. States D3 that Wombat and NotBob were her two scum for forever (dismissing D1/D2 Eldrick/Dice). Suggestion/push that hammer on Leelou would be scum move for cred after 'bomb' hint is sus.

 

 

Lily - Reasons for votes seem forced/opportunistic/sheepish, justifies all as gut. Day 1 vote on Sili came from nowhere prior to catching up/majority already secured and was somewhat contradictory to first impression (scum/sheep). Sheeps Wombat on 'you look more like SK to me' for vote on Sili, justifies lynching Vig by not trusting Sili with a gun (unnecessary). Votes Wombat after train develops, reasoning seems forced.  FOS at Alanna for her moving off of Wombat, contradicts previous reads.  Quick vote to put Alanna at L-1 concerning after doll reveal, but corrected. States would always lynch SK (Sili) - doesn't like wildcards, but later doesn't lynch/move on Arsis/Alanna with possible anti-Town role, hedges with return to Wombat vote. Defends Leelou against Dice, later changes read to null following Verbal/Leelou comments by BFG. Sheeps Verb on final vote.

I'm not sure how to feel about that hammer from Cass. With her bomb threat one thinks town would've been more cautious. Scum would know she wasn't a bomb and hammer for cred.

Yup, I do have a mentor, and he did link me to the Wiki page for 'Bomb'. Tbh, I discounted the bomb idea. By that point I figured Leelou probably was Mafia and WIFOMing, and the reference page suggests bombs are mostly Town-aligned.

 

Hally, implying that the hammer vote here could be used for cred seems silly/scummy to me.

 

IMO, any Scum looking for credit from the lynch would have been on the train earlier/before the bomb hint, knowing that the game was up.

 

So. Remove Dice for starting the train, Verbal for being confirmed Innocent Child and that leaves us with a choice of Hallia, Lily and Wombat, following Verbal and voting Leelou in that order, potentially for cred.

Here's my updated read list:

 

Not surprised in the slightest that Verb is town.

 

Cass is still coming off as town to me. No strong reasons, mostly just gut feeling. I was right with my gut about Verb and Sili, Probably right here too.
 

Starting to get a town lean from Hally. She was weird in the beginning of the game, but she's feeling more towny now.

 

Starting to get suspicious of Pral, still got him in town, but barely.

 

Still got Dice in null, but leaning towards town from his interaction since his break.

Still got a scum lean on Lily and Wombat. With the number of people left in the game, those leans are getting stronger to me.

I'm still convinced that Notbob is scum. I don't seem to have the support to lynch him, but will gladly jump on his train if someone else goes for it.

 

I believe the remaining scum team is Lily/Wombat and Notbob. Both Lily and Wombat if the team is 4 people.

 

For now, I'll go with my scum candidate that is already up. [v]Lily[/v]

This vote count at 6 hours before deadline is interesting.

 

Leelou and Eldrick were the leading trains at this moment. I find it unlikely that Eldrick is scum here. Because, within such a short time before deadline, it is not probable that there would be two scum trains, driven by the scums themselves. That would be awesome distancing if both Leelou and Eldrick turn out to be scum.

 

So, I can fairly say that Eldrick is town here.

No way.  You don't remove Dice simply because he voted first.  He was not pushing hard, nor was he trying to convince anybody else - that was MY role when I ISO'ed Leelou.  I pushed hard and tried to convince other townies.  Dice was not around for any of that.  Actually, neither were you.

I'm with Verb on this. Having already been suspicious of Dice I wouldn't put it past him to buddy Cass as scum, and I didn't like his "waiting on Verb"

 

That being said if he is town, it seems like Cass is doing the same thing. Not sure if I buy the reasoning behind the hammer. My reasoning for it still stands.

I considered what youve put above. It seems like the obvious thing. hence im skeptical of it.

I started wondering if they left you alone because your other reads are off making you no threat to them.

Also that they left you alone BECAUSE you claimed. Your role  in and of itself is no threat to them. I think if you DONT claim you get NKd.
