try thinking about it. yates comes out claiming mason. if he doesn't die by d3 and has a doc saying they protected him every night he knows he will get insta lynched. he gets lynched and flips mafia? pral goes next day.  he might gambit but his gambits don't take down others in his team if they go wrong

 

 

 

why don't you believe him sili?  do you think he is mafia?

Don't want to lynch: Eldrick, pralaya, Thane

 

Not good to lynch: Elizabeth, Dice,

 

Don't care: Verbal, Wombat, Alanna, Leelou, Cass, Hallia

 

Okay to lynch: Not bob

 

Contemplate lynching: Yates

In this scenario they're a pair of unconfirmed masons who are lynch candidates. they won't be killed.

 

Maybe if yates had made a better claim.

i agree with that.

I am also seeing the understanding that the likelihood of them both being scum is VERY low. Honestly, I am starting to believe that they are actually masons. But we won't know without a flip, and any knowledge is good for D1. Yes, I'd rather find scum, and if something pops up that leads in that direction, I'd be happy to help. It the meantime, information gathering is the best bet.

i'm a really big fan of lynching by poe rather than claims, plus i don't know if lynching inside a masons' claim is actually optimal, so i'll refrain from commenting.

 

I do think you shouldn't be lynching yates if you trust him though.

So I read Hallia's ISO. I must have missed whatever you guys are getting on her case about.

 

for the record, I'm getting a town read on Sili.

something about her tone put wombat off. he thinks hallia wanted to stop ppl from clearing themselves.

has he been defensive??  yes he has but that's cause people have this idea that lynching claimed masons D1 is a good thing. Its not.  Do we need to watch them in case we are getting scammed? Its YATES! of COURSE we do but if their play doesn't back their claim then we relook at them but definetly not D1.  especially as, unless we get a Power role claim yates is a prime candidate for NK tonight.

I see your pov. Maybe D1 isn't the best time to confirm the masons. Or rather, the surviving one. And if the mafia is smart, they won't kill one of them either. That would confirm the other one for us and spare us the lynch. They will eventually need to be confirmed, but I'm okay with it not being day one.

Pralaya seems to be following Yates' lead.

 

Why would we lynch Yates if his claim is confirmed fake? Townies fake claim all the time.
