We are VT.

 

The rest of the claim is legit. While our research on farandolae within the microscopic mitochondria is important, we are the wrong kind of doctor [microbiologist] so we can only keep Charles safe with our vote.

 

Headdesk. you realize my vote finger is beginning to twitch right?

 

 

Meg had looked into the cherubim's ovoid eye and found herself pulled through and deposited in a place that looked exactly like the star watching rock in her north pasture - except for the sky full of unfamiliar stars overhead.  Mr. Jenkins had chosen to come, and Calvin was there, which warmed her heart.

 

"Where are we, Blajeny?" Calvin asked.

 

"Metron Ariston."

 

"What is Metron Ariston?  A planet?"

 

"No, it's an idea.  A postulatum.  Metron Ariston makes it possible for all sizes to become relative, so that while you are here, you may converse with a giant star, or a tiny farandola.  And now," Blajeny said, "we will welcome the other member of this class."

 

From behind the smaller of the two glacial rocks, a tiny creature appeared and scampered over to them.  Small, silver blue, and rather mouse-like, still Meg thought it appeared to be more of a sea creature than a land creature.  Its large velvety ears faded to lavender fringes at the tips, which waved gently in the breeze like plants moving with the currents of the ocean.  Its long, lavender tail twitched with a fish-like fin at the tip, and its pupil-less eyes shone like moonstones.  This must be a farandola.  Meg blinked in shock.

 

The shape of a Mr. Jenkins blew across the horizon.  Blajeny looked grim. "Echthroi at work. If they are able to reach us here, the situation is dire."

 

Blajeny turned to Calvin and advised him, "You and the farandola Sporos must work together.  You all must do whatever you must to overcome the Echthroi.  When you get there, my children, you will know."

 

"When we get where?" Meg asked.

 

"To one of Charles Wallace's mitochondria."

 

Just then the psuedo-Mr. Jenkins they had seen earlier reappeared, and began rushing toward them.  Louise the Larger slipped out from behind one of the rocks and hissed terribly, while Blajeny spread his arms wide and pulled Calvin, Meg, Mr. Jenkins and Sporos into their span. Proginoskes caught Meg in his wings, and she felt herself pulled once again into his ovoid eye.

 

Then all was darkness.  Meg could feel the presence of the others within her mind, Calvin reaching out to her.  She could feel Mr. Jenkins' fear. She reached out her hand to him, feeling responsible, and then she was being consumed with flame.  She could sense a violent jolt in the cosmic rhythm, a screeching disharmony.  She could not breathe. She tried to scream, but there was no sound.  She was being consumed with pain so intense that she was sure she could not survive another second.

 

And then there was Calvin, within her mind, flooding her with peace, and Proginoskes by her side, speaking her Name to her.  "You are Named, Meg.  You are Named forever."

 

Within the greenish-black darkness of the mitochondria, they heard the shriek of the defeated Echthros, and smelled the stench of decay.

 

Tommy, Echthros - 1x mafia rolebocker, has been lynched.

Yates is probably town cause else I can't see why they didn't block ME N2. Ofc that is not a sure tell I mean I am loud about being a PR most of the games but usually as a vanilla so maybe they just bought my show. They certainly didn't seem to care much about my N1 fake jail on Cory.

Dice - let me make it perfectly clear. While I get that some people might think we made up our character claim because it came out after the initial flavor post? Take a look at who was first to mention "farandolae" in the thread. Here's a hint - it was me in my full claim. Then mod just posted something about the "farandolae" in the most recent flip scene two hours later. That is another SPECIFIC thing mentioned in our claim.

 

At this point, we should pretty much be treated as IC.

heres the thing i had you as solid town BECAUSE of that flavor  csarmi did not like my pm matching. but i currentloy have my tinfoil hat on. the major thing in ure favor is HOW youve been handling that fake claim, youve been wifoming the hell out of it.

 

i was REALLY nervous you were gonna claim tracker/watcher. THAT woulda been instavote at this point because all our actions are laid out and its easy to claim. I think you are safe enuff  im just getting twitchy

Let me be perfectly clear. I find PM matching to be against the spirit of the game, angleshooting at best.

 

Also I am pretty sure everyone (including the mafia) has been in the know right from the start (what the theme is about, how town PM's are worded, etc.).

 

You aren't going to convince me that a mafia team containing Tommy would not learn all that necessary stuff like... instantly and that's if Tress didn't include those with safe claims already. Which she would.

 

So stop with that line of reasoning because it does not make you look better, in fact it makes you look worse in my eyes. You know better than this.

Now your character could be a fakeclaim.

 

It could also be a real claim in which case your play as a VT would make perfect sense: I would have done the same as you - char claim only and let the mafia drink wine.

 

But this "I am IC cauze of PM stuff" thing is ridiculous.

Seriously. That would actually be productive use of your time. Look at how the remaining players reacted to the real claims and look at how they reacted to my character claim. See if there are any disparities.

From within the mitochondria, Meg remembered standing in the light summer breeze under the foreign stars of Metron Ariston, and listening to confirmation of what her heart already knew.

 

"These Echthroi - the ones who took on my appearance," Mr. Jenkins had asked, "they would harm Charles Wallace?"

 

"They would X -- extinguish him," the cherubim had responded.

 

She felt Proginoskes move within her mind, and suddenly she was with Charles Wallace in her heart, watching her mother carry his limp body up the stairs and gently prepare him for bed.  He had no strength to help her, but smiled weakly and told his mother "I'll be better soon.  Meg will..."

 

"Meg will be home from school in a couple of hours," her mother interjected, "and she will be right up to see you. And your father will be here soon."

 

"Meg... isn't... in school," Charles Wallace protested, but his mother did not hear, or did not choose to contradict him.

yours is a lock. I know mine is a lock. Sleeper i think has proven himself so i have him as lock. I believe yates but have a small tinfoil. Really doubt its a lie but. it actually wouldnt have made sense for the mum to be a role imo

Now I realize you may not think that's a big deal on the surface. But the important take away here is that mod confirmed [to us] that Charles is in the game. So even if we get NKed, Town will know that Charles is not a fake claim. So Hally agreed she'd be okay with me claiming early.

Umm. I think the whole game is going inside/ Charles Wallace. Town win equals he lives.

Pretty sure the only character guaranteed not to be in the game.
