"Heating up" - Regular vig shot.  If you hit town, you're vanilla.  If you hit scum ->

"He's on fire!" - Choose your target.  If they're town, they survive (townspewing them to you) and you have to skip another night phase before shooting again.  If they're scum, you get another shot that night

 

That would be amazingly more in towns favor as a vig.  I like this.

Yeah, but you have to pick somebody to kill immediately as the game begins.  If you fail, you just took away a town PR.

How do you balance for that

 

First, you will hit town FAR more often than you hit mafia (numbers).  Second, the kill doesn't take effect until end of N1 so they don't die right as the game starts.  Third, give scum a doc.

So I'm thinking: faster games are better. Let's add a lot of bullets. Even/Odd Night Village Vigs, Maybe a N2 wolf vig.
