Sili, being that you're unfamiliar with most of these players, my advice is to try and not rely on meta that much. I don't really play often enough to be very familiar with people's metas either, and I dislike relying much on what someone tells me about other players' metas.

Then what could you possibly have seen that made you feel good about following me early?

I think I might have been confusing here without noticing. There are a few separate points here:

 

1) Clov you said you always associated snarky with Lee's scum game. I've always associated it with her town game. As you usually saw her as scum and me i usually saw her as town, it's evident

A) how we got to this conclusion

B) how we are both wrong here and it's kind of proven that it's a null tell on her.

 

2)Please note that i wasn't aware of this when i made my original reply to you and added my vote.

 

3) In fact i voted her cause i thought we likely saw the same thing there and that you were referring to her not having confidence, snark and real bite (all of which if there I'd find town tell in her).

oh, a quick analogy i like is mafia tells are like spokes of moonlight in a cave, where meta tells are the shades of darkness as your eyes adjust to the lack of lighting. i think you're more informed with both.

I rather not get tangled with interperting AtE as any sort of tell. I've seen Cory AtE as town. I've seen ApE Ate as scum (and get cleared because of it and later win the game). I have mentioned several times that it did give me a bit pause...... but I'm still trying to factor in everything he's done. So yeah, when someone tells me he's green in their list JUST because he AtE and he typically does that as town... and is gonna disregard his content just because of his overreaction to two votes.... then yes... I'm gonna name it for what is is. Which is ridiculous.

 

If Salami is a frustrated townie then he needs to step to the plate, explain himself, scumhunt and catch scummies. I am definitely not gonna give him a pass just because he had a fit about having two votes on him. I think he's intelligent enough as scum to fake it, and impatient enough as town to get all uppity about it. Ergo at this point I'm going to disregard his AtE and self vote because I'm not gonna drown in the WIFOM. And if he has the best interest of town in mind then he should cut the crap and start acting like one. Or alternatively be lynched because his content has been terrible.

Cause it was a serious vote.

So I get the feeling that short of Tommy, every person that basically showed is scum in salami's eyes lol His accusations aren't as subtle as I recalled, but they still look bad.

 

This is a legit town tell.

Probably applies to most players too. People look naturally townie to a scum except for the teammates.

 

Also my accusations were not baseless. I picked up on Sili being self-contradictory in his post and that he had to unconsciously distance from his being a wolf by adding the extra bit about how he got town and sorry for it. Legit wolf tell. I expounded on that later.

 

I picked up on Thane/Des being likely wolf/wolf on how they interacted (no real threat and sureness). Tommy explained it later (yes he got my thought process right there... Probably start of our mindmeld).

And yeah, he really does have a lot of scummy soft pushes and nudges and "me too!" Type posts

 

You might be right.  Regardless, one thing I don't like about Salami's "defense" so far is that it is all appealing to meta.  I'd rather see him do actually pro-town things rather than dismissing anything someone objects to as part of his town meta.

@Nyn - I agree that you shouldn't clear people over AtE and stuff, but rather over posts, content and gameplay. But sometimes it helps. You may be better off, for instance, to try and read me that way cause you apparently don't have the faintest clue on

b) what to read for in them

 

That's probably cause you expect me to think and act like others. I'm a very simple guy. I do what I say. I don't do subtle manipulations and stuff like that. I don't even lie as scum, I just try to scumhunt by forgetting my teammates. If you keep looking for conspiracy and subtle manipulation and stuff in my posts, you never get anywhere cause that's just not how I operate. You're looking for the wrong things.
