I already explained in detail why what he said isn't true. I don't see why it matters who I'm directing the info at.

When you are addressing the "audience" it looks like you are trying to tell us a story. When you address HIM, it looks like you are trying to point out a factual inaccuracy. And interact with him. And solve his slot.

 

Why would I try to appeal to someone who I think is prolly scum? I'm trying to point at his faulty reasoning and the way he's twisting events to suit his reads. Ergo, I am taking to everyone else. Not him.

He sealed me as his scum lean from about his first post despite my content and he didn't really make any attempt to try to interact with me and poke my brain a bit to see if he might be wrong. Here's a newsflash to anyone who's wondering. Most of the people in the game have me in their town leans because I've been towntelling all over the place since the game started. I feel nauseated with how townie I've been. I think most of you will agree that I'm not in any immediate risk of getting lynched any time soon. So I don't really give two figs about one player wrongly reading me as scum. If I thought it was coming from a derping townie I'd be like... w/e.... I'll do the told you so and the dance of shame post game.

 

But I am getting the feeling that Pral is being slimy. You're welcome to shout OMGUS or claim I'm misrepping cause he called me scummy. But my opinion is not going to change.

I don't think he's scummy just because he doesn't agree with everyone else about townreading you, and his point about his meta does make sense. It doesn't clear him, because in my experience with him, he posts that way regardless of alignment, but I'm not sure what about that particular point doesn't make sense.

I find myself nodding my head in tune with this response.  I'd rather see clearing through thoughts articulated in posts, not general meta.  The "I never do that" isn't a very good defense, because all it does is allow you to then use it to fool people.
