The Discworld was torn apart by the portal opening to the Dungeon Dimensions, this made the Gods quite angry, temporarily as they quickly found out that without belief they couldn't exist. The Auditors were initially pleased at the outcome, something as weird as the Discworld, (it was carried on the back of 4 elephants after all), well things were tidier without it around.

 

Unfortunately the Auditors soon discovered that most of the strangeness in all of the parallel universes was collected, stored and used to keep the Discworld alive. This had the knock on affect of making everywhere else normal...

 

With the Discworld gone, strange occurrences started happening throughout all the universes, for example a rain of Hippopotamuses eating cake flattened the house of one DMer...

I don't blame you at all. Players misremember things a lot, it happens to everyone.

The major issue I had was that everyone also believed it happened. A bigger indicator that not a lot of players were really paying much attention, but I'm starting to understand that I need to treat this as a much more casual and less competitive forum than what I'm used to.

 

When you were active you played very well and real life comes up for all of us. Don't feel bad
