Yeah. The annoying thing is some people disappear just because "DM weekends are dead" so it's like a self fulfilling prophecy.

People avoid it because it's dead and it's dead because people avoid it.

LouNy's two individual reads lists, for reference:

Nyn: please don't think I'm railroading you

I voted you because your real-time presence throughout the game has been low which is something I consider a ~decently strong wolftell for you

You're also deflecting in response rather than becoming abrasive and defensive, something else I have as a wolftell

You haven't done all that much that makes me think you are a villager

Share some of your hydra thoughts in here where we should be seeing them. Let me actually see your frustration if you are hiding it.

You can't blame me for ~misreading you if your take on the game is being hidden in a QT where I can't see it and it's wholly possible you could be frustrated in your QT and still be Mafia.

FTR I would rather see a list from each hydra than one list from both hydra.  It allows town an insight into the hydramind as it informs gameplay and POV

As you wish.

Town leans

Tina - inquisitive, seems like she is on her town game.

Verbal - his posting style and what he's questioning has me leaning town on him.

Wolfish - Mish has her claws out and Kronos hasn't gone and completely turtled.

Null leans

Barm - Been debating null/town with Barm, but I'd like to see more from him before finding him a spot by the fire.

Cory - started out differently than I'm used to, almost tipping the scales in town.

Dice - moving more towards town with his play, but he doesn't get a free pass for mentioning 9-1.

Yates - need to see more from Yates. Need some stances.

Scum leans

Nolder - started off with a weird vote, meh reasoning to explain it, followed up by some tunneling.

Hallia - not being spunky townie Hallia.

Krak - my post earlier covers my stance on Krak.

My leans, before Lee and I did the combined list.

Town Leans
Tina - Proactive, analytical, motivated. Most of her posts make sense to me. I'm not seeing the scummy laid back passive Tina here. So I'm getting a generally good feeling from her.
Wolfish - I like Kronos' posts and I think the way he carries himself says it all. He doesn't have much of a wolf range. Mish is being fierce and standing her ground. Both of them are giving me a townie vibe.
Cory - I raised my eyebrow a bit at the quiet Cory when the game started, but after observing he slid right into what I consider his townie play. Not ready to lockclear him yet, but he can be green for now.

Null Leans
Dice - Kinda unsure. He's usually a very scummy townie or a very scummy scummy. Right now he's kinda null to me.
Yates - Kinda bothered me when he went a couple of times all 'I can't believe you're reading me as null' both at us and someone else. And there was the little tif between him and Cory which I'm attributing to lingering issues from a different game. I kinda got a v/v feel from the exchange. But I need to see more before I'm comfortable enough to bump him to my town leans.
Barm - Never played with him before. He seems semi involved with the game but he hasn't really said anything to note, for better or worse. Would like to see more.
Verbal - I just can't tell lol But he hasn't done anything pingy that I've seen so there's that.

Scum leans
Nolder - For reasons stated in quite a few of my previous posts. He's not making sense to me at all.
Krak - I don't think I've ever seen Krak play this way. While I appreciate him posting more, I'm not a fan of the nature of his posts. There's a lot of directing other people and asking questions, while not sharing his thoughts. And generally trying to push weak FoSes.
Hallia - Mostly gutread. I get that she has RL issues, but even when she caught up it felt kinda without. I'm also not a fan of her bringing up the Wednsday joke as she was casting a vote on Nol. Kinda wondering if she was bussing.

the blue has me thinking halli may be town. Would that line be put there if hally was louny';s teammate?

Our reads so far (in no particular order).

Town Leans:

Tina

Verbal

Wolfish

Cory

Null:

Dice

Yates

Barm

Scum leans:

Hallia

Krak

Nolder

(1) I don't think they'd put their teammate in the scum section, and anyway I know I'm town, Cory is dead town, and Tina and Verb is highly unlikely is town. Dice is clear town, so is Barm for me. (1) They put Hallia, Krak and Nolder as scum leans. Krak and Nolder cannot be teammates with LN. So that leaves Hallia.

This reads list isn't sitting well with me.  I don't think there's any evidence to back up her town reads and it looks cobbled together.

@Leelou - do you agree with Nyn's reads?  Which would you change?

Well, gee, I wonder why it's not sitting well with you. So far you really have only pushed on Verbal and seemed to think Nolder is the only person that sees what you are saying. Sorry, but Nolder's post and vote might as well have been in another language. What you pointed out as scummy behavior from Verb, isn't. So far, he's shown more of a town attitude towards this game. I will be very shocked if he's scum.

Mostly included to show that the pokes at Krak continued the whole day.

LouNy

And Krak responds with a vote, starting the real train on LN.

I don't think you're town this game.

Instead of engaging you're simply content to snipe from the sidelines.

First off, Nolder is the only person that sees what I was saying and I understood what he was saying.  That doesn't make us right or wrong, but it does make sense.

Second, what Verb said wasn't scummy to you but that doesn't make it gospel.

Third, and mostly why I don't believe you, is because you had your mind made up before anything of note had happened.

Good, good post.

and yet that vote is still there Leelou. That seems to imply a serious vote.

and yet that vote is still there Leelou. That seems to imply a serious vote.

That's because my joke vote has turned serious. I told Barm that yesterday. Don't know why that is so hard to understand. Only other person I'd hands down vote right now is Nolder. And tbh, it really wouldn't matter who he was voting. He could have voted anyone after anyone in his first post if he posted like the way he did, I'd still be suspecting him like I am now. The only thing that I'm not liking about Hallia was how she threw in that she was voting Nolder  (2)  for the Wednesday thing. Made it look a bit more opportunistic.

If Krak is their teammate, I'm officially retiring from mafia for good, because then I've lost all intincts. They cannot be teammates. Same with Nolder. The sentence on Hallia however, seems like she's just saying something to say something.

I'm not sure you guys are understanding where my concern is.

Take my Yates example. One of you thinks he's town, the other thinks he's scum.

How do you reconcile that? You just deferred to whoever you think can read him better?

Neither of us thought he's scummy. We have him as a high null.

That avoids his question though. Yates was his example, was there a player whose name actually fits his Yates example? Then answer his question with that player in mind.

Barm = town.

What exactly is the case on LouNy? I have a vague uneasy feeling on them, but I can't see anything to back it up, so I don't get why they're getting voted.

I don't see it either Mish.

For the record - I've played with town Mish and I've played with scum Mish. This in pretty positive is town Mish. I miss playing with you <3

I ask what's the case. An Hallia immediatly comes in like "i dunno?!!". And then she buddies me.

Looking at that I can see either no one agrees with me or they have other priorities so I'm gonna switch and put the pressure on.

[unvote]

[v]Leelou/Nyn[/v]

Balls in your court Verbal.

Nolder keeps the LN train building, instead of pushing in another direction, wich I'd expect at this point if they were teammates since it's DL day. Instead he keeps the momentum on the train going.

My leans, before Lee and I did the combined list.

The reasons for Hallia seem way weak for her to be on the scum list. Her reasons on Yates seem stronger. Again this feels liek camouflaging a teammate.

And I like that catch Mish. Just further firming that scum vibe from Krak.

I point out that I find Krak's attempt to start a train at Yates disturbing. And Hallia comes supporting me. At this point, she's still voting Nolder, however she moves her vote to Krak not long after.

So, to sum this up nicely:

I cannot see Dice, Verb, Barm or Tina as mafia at all. Krak and Nolder is spewed clear by the effort LN put into trying to get them to look bad. Yates and Hallia are the wild cards, but LN joining the votes for Yates EOD and Hallia subtly nudging in that direction makes Hallia the clearer candidate.

you will see i have highlighted a couple of things and put numbers in front.  follow the spiders    um nubers lol

(1) these two lines contradict each other. if you dont think louny would put their teammate in the scum section then why suspect hallia?

(2) i feel like ive just read nyn mentioning this as well. Its making me uneasy. Am i right? did nyn say something about the wednesday thing too?  I sux at ISOs can someone who doesnt confirm that for me?

Posted

really krak?  after mish stating as shown above that she didnt think nyn would put her teammate in the scum leans yet still finding hally sus? even tho someone else had asked about would nyn be a busser as mafia or not? even tho when nyn does put hallia anywhere its weak looking?

with all that asking a question about would a mafia say her teammate is bussing, bussing which always has negative connotations, is not useful? Wouldnt it perhaps give some thoughts regarding possible town spewing? or not?

people arte clearing you and nolder because of lounys going after you. essentially town spewing you. Her mentions of hallia are not as strong.

What I'm saying is that I think people might be overthinking.

I say our best bet is to group our most likely scum and lynch.

Hey Nyn, have we ever been in a game together where you were scum? Since you are asking for a links, a link would be a mitzvah. Danke. And - uh - L'chaim. [Did I do that right?]

This was basically the first time Yates/Nyn interacted, after many pages.  It kinda pinged to me.

A. That wasn't the first time I interacted with them. Already showed this was false in 914 when it was originally brought up by someone else [Mish].

B. I think it's weird that you are trying to use someone else's evidence [that I guess you must not have noticed had been disproven already?] as though you are having an original thought when you never posted that thought prior to someone else posting that thought.

C. My final point would be Pot vs Kettle? I looked at your ISO, Hally. Not only did you have ZERO interaction with LouNy, THIS was the only thing you had to say about them in the entire game:

I've stated my thoughts. I see no reason for the wagon on them. If I had to take a stance I'd say they're frustrated town.

I'm finding it hard to believe that you claim to have noticed that I didn't have anything to say about LouNy until later in the game and that this perceived lack of interaction [which has already been proven wrong like ONE PAGE AGO] somehow "pinged" for you.

What's up?

Posted

2. ...Like, I dunno, are you trying to say that because I think her concern there isn't important that that somehow invalidates any other points made against you? If so then you're barking up the wrong tree.

No. I'm saying that she made two points against me and neither of those points were factually accurate within the context of the game. Specifically in regards to point 2, what I was saying is that you should have known that the post she had quoted as evidence that I didn't mention LouNy was not actually evidence that I didn't mention LouNy but suggested that I was implying that Cory was correct to be suspicions of their slot. The reason you should have known is because you had also replied to that same Cory post and thus should have understood the context of the post.

It's been like two weeks and I already hate Pumking.

I don't know if I can make it through the season...

It's hard. Get some Warlock. Enjoy ONE bottle. Then switch to Founders Harvest Ale. It's awesome.

Oh I don't drink the stuff myself, I just sell it.

And is it just me, or is Warlock sweeter, less stouty, less chocolatey, and generally closer to Pumking wrt profile this year than last year?

We haven't seen Harvest Ale where I'm at yet :(

We have Sucks! however, a true delight.

Although I don't know why they're rolling out bombers in October and then kegs/sixers in Jan/Feb.  I think maybe they're trying to be the cool kids on the block.

I believe so.

Cory said in one of his posts that Nol was cleared.  What d'you think of that Krak?

Is it between me and Yates?
