Perhaps not. I understand the observation more now and it's similar to the one I'm making so I can't necessarily fault you for it. If we are seeing similar things interaction wise that is probably a good sign since I know where I'm coming from. I guess the suspicion on my part comes from 1) it being natural for me to question it considering I know my innocence and 2) I am not as familiar with you as I might be with Tom, so you're still a bit strange. I don't think the Monstr tinfoil is bad because he used a specific and recent instance to help with his reasoning.

I seem to always get a lot of flak day 1. I thought to keep me joke and game post separate. Why was that so scummy. If you were a flower which kind would you be?

AJ made my eyebrows raise with the way he went on sickpuppets. i have seen heaps of people say that sort of thing when accused of being mafia early on. why is that a reason to vote?

It's not a stretch at all to think that most players would say Town Cop or Town Doc, etc.

Of course you would. That's my point. If you are a cop or doctor or vig or something like that, the Town modifier distinguishes you from the Scum versions. Miller doesn't have a modifier because it can only be one alignment. The point of that line of questioning is that it struck me as odd that someone would qualify "Miller" with "Town" and I wanted to see the thought process there. It's one of those things where it could be nothing or it could be one of those subtle things scum don't even know they are doing half the time. I've taken note of it and will be looking for more subtle indicators as the game progresses.

 

 

@yates. here many pms come with it saying "you are the doc."  not you are TOWN doc. people claim by saying i am the cop. not i am the TOWN cop. There was even an argument over it a little while back where i claimed watcher i think and got jumped on for not saying town watcher. consensus ended up being around the fact that that was normal. and in fact if you claim TOWN whatever i personally am gonna be more skeptical of your claim. it sounds paranoid and like you know something we dont to me.

 

 

 

Generally if someone's playstyle is different from what you usually see, they're > rand scum.

Or they are trying something new. Dice totally changed his Town play 3[?] games ago. I was only able to recognize it the second time because we had a conversation about it post game and I held him to it on the second.

 

That is, however, rare. So I agree that it is more likely to come from scum than Town. I'm just trying to illustrate a contrarian pov b/c that "tell" isn't as strong as we sometimes think it is.

Till 15 pages, I don't see TG lying as miller. Also, Ithi/Turin are at their typical anti-crowd cynical best. Town read both of them

So, is tommy - not aggressively going behind either opinion town their.

 

Till this page, AJ and Yates seem to be iffy. Both of them ensure enough thread presence but stay in the background without much of a stance. Would need to read further to see if the feeling changes.

 

Not sure about the new people yet. Despo looks slightly townish so far.

@manbat fyi   Im in australia so you will find that when most of you are active im not. thats cause its ure night and my work day.  i try to keep up at work but i work in a call centre for the courts so its often a struggle. this does contribute to low post counts from me cause i cant get into real time convos with peeps

Despite what I was told about the universal Scumplay here, I'd be surprised at several Scummiosi being under the non-posters/Null -bracket. So that makes me more mindful of the possibility of Scum!Despot or Scum!AJ.

 

Dice and SP end up under the Scummy-bracket by virtue of 'why the frigg not?' but practically speaking I could also have them both under 'Null'.

 

Going through SP and Despot is my nextest priority.

 

Assuming that I have enough time to reread stuff a LOT, anyone wanna link me to a Scum!AJ-game that happened here, preferably recently? I've seen him scum in a Round where I Tracker-busted him N1 and in the DBZ-game that just ended, and the DBZ-game made me realize that the impression I've had of AJ's Scumplay has been lacking.

Does anyone actually need me to do anything today, or can I just have a bit of time to relax/ possibly sleep. I only got 4 hours last night and I've had a hell of a day today and a 14 hour day due for tomorrow.

 

My phone got filled up with emails and I've kind've looked at some. You all seem to know each other really well is what I'm mostly getting.

Not to be overly nitpicky here but I'm going to be overly nitpicky. What did you mean by Town Miller? Why add the Town part? Have you been in games with a Scum Miller? I think they are just called Godfathers. *shrug*

Yates what did you think this would accomplish? Do you think Ithi is scum with TG or something? I just don't get this question.
