@tom  i get what you mean by tone reads. thats probably the best description for how i get my reads. Problem is im not confident that im good at it, i dont think i analyse it the way you do////its kinda instintive cause when i read it i try to read it as if the person is in front of me talking.  and i have not got enough thread weight to get people to listen to me.

• Despo - Hallia likes him and so do I. Some reasons have been posted I believe. I agree with sharpness, I like the way he WoT's (I may elaborate on this if need be, trust me on this for now.
• TomStress - This is mostly Hally's read on Tom (I'm actually conflicted on Tom) and my soulread on Tress added together.
• Darthe - My soulread (Hally didn't comment yet). Clear posts, relevant comments, good tone. He might adjust tone to VS guys... And he might be less troll cause of them - but that's not a bad look.
• Turin/Ithi - Hally believes Despo vs TI is town on town. She's very good at this sort of judgement. Moreover, I have a townish read on Turin. I don't like their Miller push but I do like that he's explained the discrepancy between his reads.
• AJ - We both like him so far. My read might be a bit skewed by thinking him to by Hydra with Despo until this morning, but it's still okay.
• Dice - I have a straight town read on Dice (but I haven't managed to reread yet. There are some specific scumtell triggers (specific to him anyway) that he hasn't hit (I'd rather not elaborate on this but I can do so if need be). I believe I can read him quite well, especially when he's scum, I've caught him at least three times on D1. Only green cause Hally didn't like his play. I asked her to comment/clarify why.
• MontstrManBat, Slendy - Hally reads them town. I'm muddled on the new folks, not ready to form opinions yet. Enough for me not to pursue his lynch. I liked their play FWIW, but I have no idea how to read them. Been a long time I've seen them. Not even sure we actually played together. Nope, Hally didn't say why she thinks they are town, I suppose she'll elaborate if asked.
• TG - I got a very mixed read. I'm afraid I dunno how to read him, I asked Hally to do so for me. I saw things I liked (his general tone/wim/post sharpness) and some things that might be legit concerns (the TI push and the premature Dice clear).
• Yates - I've got a straight town read on him. I'm hesitant to put him higher for he's a crafty one. I do have my ideas how to tell his scum game from his town game (will keep them for myself for now). He didn't hit those triggers yet. What I saw, I really liked. Mostly. Hally didn't leave notes for me there.
• TSB, Body Burner and Krak are completely null. They haven't played yet.
• Hally didn't give me any impressions on Pray and I don't have any problems with his initial post. I'd put him to null but I find that both Tommy and AJ are really good tone readers and I can follow them there if need be (possibly lynching there).
• Hally didn't give me any impressions on SickPuppets and I don't really remember his play (except I do remember that Tommy didn't like him). I can trust theit tone read (possibly lynching there).
• Arsis - my initial vote on him was somewhat serious (i think that's a slight scum tell). I don't remember much of his play from the first half of the game except that he gave me no reason to clear him or think him to be town (got not town vibes). I'm semi-confident I would have gotten those if they were there (I soulread him last game). Hally actually posted on skype after the first fifteen pages if she could vote him cause she don't like his play. Then five minutes later he realized I already am and I've got some positive rep for it. I don't think it's a coincidence so I'm sticking to this read even tho I generally liked this play in the second half of the game. I think he's quite capable of reacting well to pressure and find a good tone. I believe we got our first scum there.

I should be less vocal when I'm not in the game flow anymore - after day two i lost my grasp, the healer gambit was still fine, but either i should have dedicated more time to it, or just stick to what I had

Also I had Arsis as highest scum read ALL game and somehow I dropped it due to peer pressure from people I trusted (Despo, Tom) which was silly. I need to know when to stick to what I got.

 

My Darthe/Tom read... they weren't baseless on D2 on, but I shouldn't have trusted them far without a re-read. I wasn't direczly participating in the end-day rushes and thus had a bad grasp. Even worse is that when I realized Darthe would be doc anyway, I didn't give voice to my argument. That mislynch is on me a lot. I souldn't have disappeared the last day.

 

@Tom - I'll re-read this game sometime and learn of your approach more.

I don't think anyone was particularly mean in this game. It was nice to see and I wished I'd had the time to participate properly.

 

All the new people were difficult to remember, but it's good that we've still got new people coming to play.

 

Dice had great reads. Anyone who believed I was Town also had great reads I might be a tad biased there though lol.

 

One day I'll be Mafia again I'm sure - and then you'll actually have something to base a Meta off of lol. Until then ... Vanilla town everytime.

Biggest Jackie Chan mo was def Pray shooting Tom tho. He played the role wrong period like Tom said, holding his claim like it would be a trump card, even tho by his own admission it was a tough claim to believe, and if you're going to hold onto a role like that with the plan of using the shot later in the game (which is ughhhhhh since it REQUIRES a mislynch just to be used), you ALWAYS shoot the most obvious scum there... which was TG. I can understand not shooting Darthe for the Doc claim, and that would have been basically as bad, but trying to be all clever with it and go for the "deep wolf" there when a mis shot can absolutely doom town was ... bad. And usually Pray has good instincts. /shrug

 

Like I said in the dead thread, my claim of killing Yates was to check the reaction of players on how they react to my claim. Arsis and TG reacted as scum and caught them immediately. In fact, Krak also reacted the same way after I itold my intention of voting Tommy. Unfortunately, Tommy reacted the exact same way, as if trying to speedlynch me so that i shoot who my tintended target was. He was more interested in proving my claim wrong than trying to see if it could be true. Maybe like what Csarmi was doing at the time. That's what made me think Tommy as scum. I had him as confirmed scum because of that. Unfortunately, it was a mistake.

 

But, that should have spewed Arsis, Tg and Krak as confirmed scum too...not sure why Darthe was caught after all that.

The problem was that your story and approach to claiming seemed like lies. It took you over an hour to character claim and your reasoning, if present at all, made noooooooo sense to me. You have to explain yourself better next time.
