First of all, think about it for a second.

Why would I go off on people claiming if I wanted Tommy's partner to claim?

 

Now that you've taken a moment to think about it note, again, I never said I wanted Tommy's partner to claim.

I repeatedly asked him how he was going to confirm himself and then by proxy Darthe. FMPOV confirming Darthe to Tommy is pointless if we can't clear Tommy. I asked him more than once because I wanted to understand and I never really got a good answer. The partner claiming is the backup plan...but whats the main plan? I don't know and honestly I don't care anymore. Since I'm the only one sticking my neck out asking the unpopular questions and getting reamed for it. I'm done. If Tommy's scum (or worse gets confirmed and then recruited later) it's on the rest of you for trusting him without any hard proof.

 

This is completely not about Darthe. I believe Darthe to be town because his frustration seemed to be genuine. This is about Arsis saying that by using Tommy's power we can stop a mislynch and save a townie. According to you, that was a waste of time on D1.

So Darthe is frustrated and that seems genuine to you but my frustration seems fake? Contrived?

Why try to save someone on D1? We need deaths, even townie deaths, to help us determine who's scum.

We're pretty much flying on blind assumptions until we have at least one confirmed death so why save someone?

Especially someone who, at the outset, was so contrary? I mean he self voted, his claim was incomplete and sucked, he couldn't answer a damn question...and then somehow he's town and Tommy needs to save him? Like what? Where the hell did that come from?

 

I get that Darthe's RECENT performance may have improved and left a good impression but prior to Tommy wanting to save him he was dead to rights and for good reason. I don't understand why you're letting his recent actions outweigh his past transgressions.

It's not that I have something to say that's being drowned out, it's that I don't think it makes sense to drop the plan and consider Tommy and Darthe confirmed on the basis of their claims, and anyone who doesn't think the way they do is being ridiculed.

 

I have to leave for work now and won't have time to post anything of substance before deadline.  I'll try to be on in time to switch my vote if necessary to achieve a lynch, but I think we're best served by sticking with the plan, because having two partially confirmed people (who can be further verified later) would be a pretty darn good thing in my view.  And the fact that suddenly neither of them want to do it makes me really, really freaking uncomfortable.
