I love how today is gonna revolve around if Dice is mafia or just did a really stupid move. I'm not that confident about the PR-tactics, nor Dices meta to claim if he would ever make such a move.

Also RTE reads like he is actively trying to clear Dice. Stinks. 

 

I just want to avoid lynching a town watcher, if we have one. I see value of town watcher & tracker (& have seen combination before).

To be fair, I made that particular post before I read the role list more thoroughly. I play in a forum where framers/rolestoppers/etc. are very common and it would have been my kneejerk reaction to seeing Dice target himself going into the phase if I were Des

I think I agree with Cory tho, so far Thanes behaviour seems in line with his play towards the end of OUAT. If he's protecting a PR it might explain why he's been so much more cautious this time compared to the start of that game.

Vos, here has basically been the defining post irt to what I think of Dice

 

I can still think of literally 0 reason Dice would watch himself if he were town.

 

Unless he thought he'd be killed AND protected or something absurd like that, all Mafia could do to a watcher is kill him or block him and there is NOTHING a watcher can do with that anyway. OP confirms there is no Bus Driver or Redirector type role in the game.

It's not a bad thing. My biggest flaw (especially day 1) is my hesitation to take absolute stands. You've always struck me as a "There! Proper scumtell! Lock-scum (or something)! Lynch the wolf". Now it seems like you are "yeah, he is most definitely probably scum, but lets look elsewhere for now".

I made a choice to try and gather as much info as I can. More info is always good for town.

 

Anyone I watched could have been visited by someone. if that person doesn't die then the person who visited that someone could be a town PR.

I wouldn't call that a flaw, so don't beat yourself up. Being confident and pushing your reads is important, but #YOLO tunneling is generally super bad for town. I'm generally better at finding towntells more than scumtells (as scumtells are really much more person-oriented and I usually need a decent sample size and thought-process to follow)

 

It's very likely I will be flagwaving a lynch before the day is done, but I'm not as informed as I could be so don't expect it until I've fully absorbed the thread.

How do you feel about A) Dice's claim and B) Dice's threadplay this game?

I found his play to be about par for course for himself.  I'm inclined to believe him, as many have argued, who else an target themselves (aside from docs)

 

 

I also found his repeated asking if Des was sure he wanted to reveal as a towntell, he was trying not to out him it seems to me.
