Again you misunderstanding why I made a big deal of Mish's. The way Mish handled it was horrible imo. Just plain bad.

 

 

For example Len was the first to come out saying he didn't like AJs point on claiming. Then doing a 180 and contributing to D1 being consistently about characters, which is why he is my main suspect at this point (ISOing him now). Especially where he says claims are null, yet going on and on about it, especially towards Mishs' coyness about her character. I'll be back with my thoughts on him in a sec. 

 

You're misunderstanding here - character claims themselves are null. As I've said, no singular claim is likely to lead directly to saving/lynching someone. The actions around these claims (Mish's for instance - her 'coyness') along with what players say in arguments for or against claims are very much gameplay and should not be ignored. THAT was the agreement Wombat and Len came to.

This is really bad.  You are casing Len on weak semantic grounds imo.  Who cares exactly how Len defines the difference between main and secondary?  Gaston may not be a title character, but he's pretty important in his movie.  This is the kid of case scum makes to drive home a mislynch.

 

Bold: that's only part of my case against him. The rest is how he went back and forth between talking about character claims, saying their null, to talking about them again. He questioned me when I said he went back and forth on it, I just pointed it out for him as he asked. I also don't care how he defines the two, it was that he had asked her about being a main character, esp if it was bad, then denied ever saying it that I was pointing out.

 

I wasnt talking about claims explicitly thank you very much. I was talking about what people did around them. All of Mish's gameplay has in some way or the other been around her claim, so ofc if I want to case her I have to talk about it.

You misunderstand. Characters are null. It doesnt matter who someone picks. What isnt null is the gameplay around how, when and why people claim. For instance Mish's claim compared to AJ's. The way AJ claimed is towny to me, the when he claimed is towny to me and the why he claimed is towny to me. Thus, it all points to AJ being town. Mishs though, well here: 

How: Hints, FOS's at my pushs, lots of dodging and then a claim.

When: After pages and pages of confrontation on it.

Why: To reveal that she laid a trap. A horrible trap imo.

Here he tells Pral he should catch and and reiterates that him and Womby agree that character claims are null and get to gameplay. Now he's back to talking about claims. He says " if we lock people into a claim then they cant BS anything later on. Force them into it now while people are still establishing their town/scumminess." (So back to character talk and how it's important. What happened to making it about gameplay and characters being null?) More secondary character talk. 

 

This quote is partly in response to Womby questioning his back and forth on character talk and partly to Mish about her claim. (I'm going to respond to several things so I'll put each point on a bullet to make it easier to follow. The part of Len's post I'm talking about will be in quotation marks).

• "1) Yes I believe and have always believed this will be a game of supporting characters." (Only supporting characters? Mish claimed a main one. She may not be the only one with a main character. Again what happened to looking at gameplay and focusing on that?)
• "3) I didn't push Mish for hinting a main Character" (I just find this funny with his first point in the same quote. May be true, but it's still odd.)
• "I never said if you were a "bad guy" that I wanted to know, I said I wanted to know because your hinting is stupid." (Not true. In my part 1 I pointed out his exact wording where he did in fact say...oh I'll copy it here: "If its a main character like Wombys, a bad main character, than I want to know." Yeah you did Len, I just quoted and bolded it for you.)

I'm not finding Len overly scummy right now. Wombat and Krak are sticking out a bit more to me on my initial read. Krak for his weird reasoning on Lenlo and Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwombat seems to be trying to figure out if the pasta is done yet by flinging it against the wall to see if it will stick.

I actually agree with Leelou about Krak, not so much about Wombat.

Vos, it seemed like the whole deadline thing boiled down to: It was super early in the game, and you're already asking if there is a deadline?  Having time is the best thing for town, so the mention of it was suspicious, and your defensiveness afterwards didn't look much better.

Is it the best plan I've ever had?  Maybe not.  But I was doing it that way so I could start to participate in events more quickly rather than only getting to really start posting after hours and hours of reading.  And yes, it's a bit confusing so far, but it's like a fun storybook with lots of spoilers, lol

Probably came off a bit passive aggresive there. Sorry. Just banging my head in the wall this game, which is frustrating, to the point where I was abit whatever. Then I figured I owed it to town to try to actually clear my alignment and help avoid mislynch D1, so I wanted to properly address my case. Then Darthe comes with a pretty vague sentence, mostly about tone - and Wombat comes and... well, with his reply.
