I have to say I'm liking Kaylee a lot right now, and I think Amega accusing her of being overly defensive is not on at all. She's actively scumhunting - I don't read that as being defensive.

I'd forgotten TGlems claimed Mrs. Potts. That makes me feel better about Wombat's fake claim actually being a fake claim. Plus he was having way too much fun being Gaston, so the explanation makes sense to me.

 

I just looked at the players/characters list again. There was Patch (dalmatian) and Cruella De Vile (bad guy 101 dalmatians), so why does this make you feel better that Wombat's claim is fake? 

 

Ah, sorry, I totally missed that. I didn't actually check back on what characters we'd had, and off the top of my head I thought we didn't have any from the same films.

 

In that case, back to keeping an eye on him.

I have to say that I'm not liking Hallia a lot right now, and I agree with a lot of your reads on her, Kaylee. I believe she jumped quickly to vote you when you were dusted scum (could be wrong, need to check back to confirm that). At that point, there were about 3 votes on Amega, I think. Then she quickly unvoted when she was scum read, saying that the dusting was wrong and couldn't be trusted.

 

Re: whether dust can be godfathered/millered, I believe Wombat said he asked Lily via PM and she told him dust could be fooled.

 

I'm also starting to feel unsure of Lenlo. He would have been a good candidate for recruitment, considering he all but confirmed town for outing Darthe.

If recruiting only happens at night, then Len couldn't have been recruited, I've had him on a carpet the past two nights. If it's anytime, then he is fair game. 

 

Alanna, I asked Lily the same question about the dust and got a PAFO.

Also want to say - I was really busy the past few days, which was mostly why my activity has dropped, but I'm also just not liking this about the dust. We have no idea if it can be fooled or not. Pral didn't have a lot of posts, and therefore probably not a lot of points, so it makes that he wouldn't have had the points to godfather himself. (I don't believe the scum can pool points - could be totally wrong on that, but it seems very unfair to me, and seems to undermine the premise of the game.) However, as we get later in to the game, even low posters could have been saving up points to godfather themselves.

 

I'm not saying we shouldn't use the dust - I think the gameplay around that has been useful. But I personally don't feel like I can trust any viewing, and all the emphasis on it lately has left me a little lost.

@ Leelou - but do we know recruiting can only happen at night? Lily has said some actions are for night only and some aren't, but didn't give a comprehensive list. She has also changed her mind on that throughout the game.

True, which is why we need to start focusing on saving our points to spyglass people at night and to meeko ourselves. 

 

If we meeko ourselves then it ruins the mafia strategy of simply poison apple-ing everybody but themselves.

lol kaylee i can understand the zeal but the reason i said lynch proof is i saw a full train on him and then a couple pages later people where saying dont talk to outed scum. I guess im still not sure what happened now since i figure lynchproof was what had happened. You caught me kaylee im guilty of skimming in the first degree. 

 

But unless a better target comes about im okay with a lynch on me. i'd say Hallia and verb need dusted and confirmed and if leelou is confirmed lenlo is confirmed. Kaylee still seems like she could have been recruited. Darthe mentions a meta of her's where she likes to just summarize the game with safe statements.. Sorta looks like that's happening here.
