I'm already pushing people to not auto-clear you like normal. You're making a lot of posts to make everyone *like* you which transfers to clearing you really quickly, especially for people who aren't as experienced.

 

Does it bother you that I am hesitant to give you a town-clear and am intruding on that tommy?

Yes. The way you are approaching it bothers me because you've never "handled" me like this that I can recall and you're usually town, so my brain goes "maybe it's scum bravado."

And you're usually scum that wins new over early on. I'm not game for keeping the status quo

Unfortunately, posting half-hearted (am I allowed to use another word there? What exactly is PG-13?) reads that I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take seriously isn't enough to get me to clear you.

Then you're not trying hard enough. I'm already clear, you're just not experienced enough to know it yet.

I've been playing for a year and I don't get how you're "already clear"

Why do you think this alignment indicative for Tom?

 

For example, in the last game Tommy did the #teamalliance thing and was Mafia. Do you associate this with his town game?

The genuineness of this post is highly questionable, but that's just retread.

 

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned discussing Tommy's potential alignment Day 1 is pretty useless and that's most of your talk this game. Tommy trying to clear himself as villager is as null as can be... if he's Maf he wants to be a universal townread, if he's town he wants to be a universal townread.

Amega's brief presence gave me pangs of the trying-too-hard-to-sound-townie posting style he had as scum with me in Darthe's game but I remember him being underwhelming as a townie in the past, so I'm not sure I'm ready to vote for him. In contrast, I have a higher bar set for Darthe, but what he's projecting so far feels new and scary. So if I don't recognize it, maybe he's scum. That's where I'm at.

 

I don't really have a read on you either yet; vaguely positive. I'm planning on trying to read Kaylee at first but so far there isn't much to go by other than her taking a jab at me, kinda. Not sure she would do that as scum since you would have already told her to just buddy me, I think.

 

That's about it so far. Am voting Darthe, may vote Amega.

Well it had a radical effect on you last game and i even hinted at it and you swept it under the rug.. Maybe you should distance your self and get a clean perspective to properly discern your bromance's alignments in future games.

 

Like you said though Tommy wants to be townspewed as both scum and mafia. Except in this game i haven't seen him going to deep in alliance mode.

i got mentored so i have been trying to change my style to be more effective and less of a hindrance that should explain the posting style change and pretty much eliminate that last post of yours.

A "radical" effect? I've misread Tommy before and I'll misread him again but A) he's a damn hard player to catch on Day 1 and B) if he's town he's going to be an extraordinary valuable asset and someone to work with. It's also much easier to keep tabs on someone whom you have a bridge of communication with. There is absolutely no reason for me to "distance myself" from Tommy Day 1.

 

I take no responsibility for not soulreading the game correctly on a Day 1 - the vast majority of games aren't won on Day 1.

For someone so confident in telling other players how to play the game, why don't you drop your solve on us? You must have been able to solve it by now since you can GOAT soulread and have such a clean perspective.

@Tommy people are fussing about you trying so hard to clear yourself because it looks disengenuous the way that youre going about it. Play as town as possible so that you appear town. Telling me that you are just looks like youre forcing the situation.
