I looked into your posting content. You're posting all over the place (a sum of 3 pages of content since the game started in various boards), yet hardly here. You made like three posts indicating that we're all crazy. You made a post giving links to previous games you've played in, after being asked (by tommy, I think). When asked for reads, you say you don't have a freaking clue and say we're all nuts again. Then you made a useless post indicating that you're creeping around... in the shadows. Which is another post I did not like. And then the above post. Awesome.

 

One particular other place you're posting in is a different advanced mafia game, the Once Upon a Time mafia game. So your 'oh noes, I might have bitten more than I can chew with a BASIC game' post seems a bit fake. Not to mention that the sheer amount of posting you have in the other game casts a negative light on your involvement in this game. Any particular reason you're being quiet here? :P

 

Why are you slightly confident about Darthe being scum? Humor me. I know you can make more than one/two liner posts.

Nyn - I have never played in a game that started the way this one did. You, Clov, Tommy, Darthe, and Kaylee came in throwing so much dust in the air that I am tempted to call you all scum (despite the foolishness of that). However, you are all better players than I, and so I have been lurking, trying to get down each person's style, reasons behind accusations, sorting out what's an in-joke, learning acronyms and slang... yeah, I may be playing in an advanced game, but the advanced PLAYERS are here...

 

Tommy - I don't like Amega. I am not a fan of becoming over-defensive on day 1. He did that. There are town reads on him by some, but I am not convinced.

               Basel is doing the same thing she was doing in the UOAT game, and she rolled town on a D1 lynch. Seems that BG is often rolled that way on d1. Leaning town.

              Hallia lurks. It is what she does. Slight Town read. She is more active as scum (at least was in the last series of games I played, 9 months ago, LOL)

              Mish strikes me as town, sticking her neck out, tunneling in on darthe despite how it could look (a day one tunnel, usually not good)

              Len hasn't been active enough for me to make a decent read.

              Clov - Town read, lots of prods in all directions.

             Tommy - town read, tryin to get answers, digging well, pulling in inactives.

I find that Hallia posts little regardless of her alignment. It's the quality of her posts that make the difference, IMO.

 

As scum, she's more prone to joking around. When she does actually make a game related post, it seems forced. As if she's looking for something to point out so no one will pick up on her not actively scumhunting. That's why i took note of her in the Red Wedding game.

 

So far in this game, I'm leaning town on her. She's got her serious game face on.

Poker Night Mafia - 9

Assassin's Creed - 75

Catching Fire - 36

House - 56

Star Wars Heir game - 28

Greek mythology - 20

The Perfect Pizza - 37

 

All games that I have checked. In only ONE of them did Hallia's count break 40 - The House game, with 56. That is also the only game in the list where she is scum.

I am bothered by how different you're playing here as opposed to Red Wedding. It's not a little bit different. It's a 180 different. You've gone from a lurky play to full blown loud play. I know that you said that you tend to change your style with every game. It's still a bit disconcerting to me. The last player I pointed out doing a 180 in play turned out being scum. So this makes me wary.

 

With that said, I do agree with tommy that most of the day you seemed like the obvious lynch. So right now I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and keep observing your play.

Since she is not spamming, which drives up her post count, I see her as town. As for content goes, she rarely posts long cases, defenses, or quotes.

Therefore, my read is based off lack of meaningless content, rather than existence of quality content.

I disagree with you entirely, and I'm actually thinking Vote Hallia is a good place to go.  I don't have the experience with her to have an in depth meta of her like you do, but your last statement just seems so wrong to me.  Let's review.

I have a pretty good feeling coming off of Nyn from this exchange.  Between Darthe worrying about how Dawn will appear and this, I'm leaning scum on him.

At least two of those posts (1 and 5) are completely worthless and could fall under Nyn's category of joking around.  The second is an observation on something that is both 1) irrelevant to solving the game IMO, and 2) something I think most of us already know.  It's not a "scummy" post, but it's empty.

 

The only substance she has is a scum lean on somebody that several of the more active players (Nyn, Tommy, Kaylee, Cory earlier in the phase) were pushing.  Also, she said she would put some out.  I banked on it.  Now my checking account is empty and she's ran off with my wallet. 

 

Yet somehow, both heads of Nommy are seem satisfied with her.

That's not the kind of joking around I've seen her do as scum. I would love to see her post more, as well as some others. I'm not saying she blew this game wide open with the comments she has made so far. I expect to see her shifting from warming up mode to operational. If she does not, I'll reconsider my read on her.
