I'm surprised there are any players reading me as anything other than null.

 

 

Dawn you should expect your self to be viewed as scum from day 1 to think otherwise is a fantasy. Why are you trying to divert attention from yourself. If you are town your play will speak the truth. 

 

A lot of players automatically think I'm town though, too.

 

 

@Dawn.  I am totally serious, but I just have to know so that I can appropriately case your posts and logic.....and to make sure I have the appropriate level of sarcasm and ridicule that I am about to give you.

For one, Red claimed BG. How does that fit with how you view her game as a VT?

 

Secondly, Tress and Mish are a hydra. Meaning they have a QT to chat in.

IT DOESN'T EFFECT THE GAME IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM

Can confirm.  Cambridge did a psychological study on it not three years back.  No discernible effect or affect.

He is my uslydevilu so far in DM

Never been in a game with him while he's alive but I've seen you two fight before

Also, very shortly after I pointed out the hypocrisy in Mish basing a scum read on Des on a meta read from a tiny sample, Tress came with her trumped up case on me. That reads completely disingenuous to me. It's like they realized on their QT that I had a good point against Mish and then they had to rush to get a case on me. But they used Tress to make the case because she's been taking heat for low content. But her case was bad anyway.

Please darlin'.

 

I wasn't casing. You've seen me case. You'll know when I'm actually casing.

 

I was throwing a few reads out there before I had to leave for work (and was 10 minutes late because of it) and didn't have time to get into detail.

 

Still at work, so my time and internet access is limited.

 

I'm not particularly "rustled" as the cool kids say at the thought of being the D1 lynch. Someone has to be, after all, and it won't hurt my feelings if it's me.

 

Still think you're mafia, and if it will give you the warm fuzzies I'll get into details later.

Tress may be the victim of having a crummy lab partner.  Mish's defensiveness and overcompensation in her posts may simply be one intimidated by all the BDS's in this game. Knowing what I do now about how the hydra thing works, methinks they are actually both town....or are town.....they both are one person who is town.  Maybe.

 

Having said that, I still think that looking at these tandem teams as a whole is something to consider.  More on that in a bit.....Lemme jump to Red for a moment.

 

Unless her playstyle has changed since I last played tummy sticks with her, Red isn't one to bluff a PR if she is Mafia.  She's more about putting others on the offensive.  Having said this, I wouldn't put it past her to do so as mafia if she were about to be lynched, just to see who counterclaims. 

 

Here is the thing, if we are wrong about Red and she is indeed a BG, we could lose a valuable role and the scum can experience relief.  If we let Red live today and no one other than the scum night kill ends up dead, then Lucy has some splainin to do.  Sure, there is the chance that she might kill another townie, but I trust Town Red's scumhunting skills.   Put a gun in her hand and you've got Black Widow.   I can see why the mafia are scared of her in this game.

 

Hence, the bullet train.

Now, consider this.  There are 16 player slots.  According to the OP, 5 are mafia.  That means we have 11/5 town to scum.

 

I don't like these hydra teams one bit, especially when you place a Womby with a Despo or a Verb with a Tinaheck.  That's like having a player who is Batman AND Kratos. 

 

More importantly, there are 7 of these freaks.  The odds of at least 3 of them being scum are pretty good, I'd say.  While a 2 person Hydra Townie is really just the same as masons who both die together, a 2 person scum member is actually part of 6 maybe 7 individual scum entities, even if there are only 5 bodies to kill.  Quite a big brain pool.  They may be one person in this thread, but they would be two people on the Mafia QT.  Twice the input.  Twice the scum. 

 

Roster:

 

1. Mistress (Mish/Tress)

2. Desbat (Wombat/Des)
5. MegaLoud (Amega/Cloud)
6. Crayjay (Cory/Andrej)
11. Princess Verbalina of Kindelbury (Verb/Tina)
12. Halleeloujah (Leelou/Hally)
16. Nyankat (Nyn/Kat)

 

If we lynch one of these, our reward far outweighs our risk, especially with the added benefit of proper casing.  Suppose we lynch Nyankat and they flip town.  Big deal.  We lose one townie with two brains.  If they flip mafia, we can eliminate two mouthpieces from their mafia QT.  That is two less people trying to distract and sway us in the wrong direction.  No risk of tag-teaming us off a cliff.

 

I am not saying that we should ignore the single players here.  I'm saying that we probably should go after who among these unnatural hydra freaks are the most likely to be scum.

 

Right now, Mistress looks it.....but what about Verbalina?  Awful quiet.

.....you mean, your mafia part-time summer job.  :wink:  

 

Think about it.  I assume you've been on a mafia team before.  The mafia QT would have at least 6 maybe 7 people posting on it.  Not to mention one to two extra mouths in the game thread spewing distraction and trying to discredit those who are onto the scum team.  There is an added advantage when a hydra is on the scum team.  In a game this size with 7 hydras, there must be at least two if not three.

That's assuming they can't stay in their mafia QTs.

Most mods here let them. I personally usually give them the option to move on to a dead thread or stay with their team.

Point is killing them doesn't necessarily eliminate their voices.

 

That said I am more than willing to start a train on any hydra team for the purely selfish reason that I think they're dumb and don't belong in this game.
