Now des will tell us the wealth of info my lynch gives us

This is the sixth game I think that I've been voted up and lynched day one. I'm at L-1 I'm sure there will be a ninja hammer out of the woodworks. But would rather not get a modkill. Or whatever bad action the mods have planned

Lenlo

Lewis

Des

Top 3 ATM for scum.

Awful AtE. I mean seriously what're you gonna do next? Turn on the waterworks?

No townie should ever self vote it is one of the scummiest things you can ever do.

You ALWAYS fight your lynch. Not fighting it is a mafia tactic to make people feel sorry for you.

Sorry Jack but you just signed your death warrant.

##Unvote

##Vote Jack

I do fight. But tbh the novelty of people gunning for my lynch every day 1 gets old. We had a handful of hours. Random would of been bad. Now there's a train to answer for.

Nextly

I believe to qts are compromised.

Finally

With that vote Nolder I do believe you shot up my scum list. :-*

As long as you put yourself at #2.

I believe to qts are compromised.

I don't buy this one bit.  If JackD was truly pro-town, he wouldn't now, with the noose around his neck, be speaking in vague innuendos.  He admits that he is aware of more than one cutie (Hence QTs plural, not the QT or HIS QT).  While I will admit, there are a lot of cuties in this game *bats eyelashes* he firmly believes that there are multiple QTs in play, not all of them mafia.

So, by essentially admitting to being aware of multiple QTs, he should be well aware of the game mechanic (nearly spelled out in the OP), and the hints more blatant than Ziggy's purple shirt as to who is working with who.

Therefore, ergo sume latte and so forth, by choosing this moment to toss sour grapes and kick rocks (his actions, not criticizing the player here) INSTEAD of revealing the TWO other members of his CUTIE (which he had PLENTY of CHANCES to DO, including me practically spelling it out for him), and disappointing self-vote....

..........JackD is clearly anti-town.

As far as Nolder shooting up his scum list, what list was that?  Your scum shopping list?  Eggs, bacon, bread, and daggers for stabbing? Because no one is buying that you suddenly now, in the end, feel Nolder is scum.  Everyone knows you are only doing this to make him look town when you flip scum.  Everything you are doing right now is all for setting up what to believe when you flip scum.  And all of it is anti-town.

So, what happened then?  Breakdown in communication?  I'll bet only one of you was supposed to vote Wombat and you guys got your plan mixed up.  Don't worry, I get my own gambits mixed up myself.  Sometimes, I can't even spell my own name right or even forget who I am.   I can't wait to read the mafia cutie when this is all over.  I'll bet Lucy had some 'splainin to do!

By the light, I love this game!!!

FWIW, Nolder voting an inactive isn't a scumtell in and of itself.  He hates inactivity, so it's a move he often does when he doesn't have a strong scum read.  That being said, voting an inactive outlier this close to deadline is kinda meh and not something I usually see Nolder do.

To be fair it was a pretty short deadline for DM.

I hadn't actually checked it until that moment and didn't realize we had so little time.

The day had grown long the sun had nearly completed it's glorious adventure across the blue ocean in the sky, marking an end to the days proceedings. Nations had clamored and shouted and thinly veiled attempts at starting war then and there. Through it all there was one who brought a glimmer of peace to the table, gold beads shook in her hair as she waved her hand, bracelets clanking together, in an effort to be heard above the masses. Cleopatra had fought hand and tooth for for every amendment they had earned that day, the thought of peace filled her with joy. No longer would the sons and daughters of her nation be at the mercy of the men in front of her.

She gave her respects to the men leaving the negotiations and made haste to her private chambers, documents and consulting with her fellow patriots would fill the hours till the moon took the suns place high in the sky. Suddenly Cleopatra staggered as pain tore threw her like none she had ever known, and she wondered why she felt so dizzy... and wet? That's when she looked down and saw the blade sticking out of her stomach, blood dancing of the blade in the firelight little rivers running down her yellow dress pooling about her feet. A voice whispered in here ear.. "peace is something the world will never know dear Cleopatra". With that the blade was wrenched free and she crumple to the floor in a pile of her hopes and dreams and a sickening pool of blood.

Jack- Cleopatra Vanilla Town is dead

IT IS NOW NIGHT. you will have 24 hours or till last one is received.

If you dont wish to use a NA please holster, so i dont have to wait.

72 hours is normally fine, most of the time D1 is a bit longer.

Catch-up WoT pt 1:

I seriously don't understand your statement there. You seem to be acknowledging what I am saying about Despo, but somehow that leads you to the conclusion that I am scum??

I acknowledged that you said it.  I didn't say it was correct.  Despo doesn't need to know I'm town in order to sheep me on D1.  At the very least, it gives him info on me.

Obviously you don't think I am correct if your vote is any sort of indication. I can see where you're coming from on trying to gain info on you. It didn't come across that way to me, however. Do you think you are so easily read for Despo to sheep you without question after a few posts? He indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are Town.

I might be misreading this, but is AJ trying to say Wombat's vote is evidence that he thinks AJ is scum because Wombat agreed that Despo is sheeping Wombat's vote on AJ?

How does AJ's logic hold any sort of water here when Wombat's vote came before Despo's vote?  Why should Despo sheeping Wombat have any bearing on Wombat's play on AJ?

I just ISO'd Despo and he did nothing of the sort.  So far, he has complimented Lewis' vote on me as pro-town and said that my hunches are usually good.

You're right, he didn't say it directly but that was how I interpreted the statement. He was saying that your hunches are usually good and that I am easy to spot as scum. Therefore he believes you to be town and me scum, but my problem is that I am unable to see how he came to this conclusion based on your previous posts.

Now AJ seems to be putting words into Despo's mouth.  That is the basic definition of grasping.

Feeling alright about my earlier vote on AJ for his response to my "nudge."

Interesting read between AJ and Wombat, for the moment i tend to follow AJ's reasoning more than Wombat's.

What do you mean by this?  How exactly do you find AJ's logic more clear than Wombat's?  The argument is fairly basic - It's not rocket surgery.

Nose is running like there's no tomorrow, and my head is swimming.  Past time for the Nyquil.

Quick thoughts, hopefully I'll be less hazy in the morning.

I read Womby's vote on AJ as a gamestarter attempt - bold, little explanation, getting reactions.   Despo's sheeping the vote was blatant and looks to me like a push to help with the gamestarting, pretty clear he was after AJ's reaction to the train.  Willing to put both of them provisionally in the town pile for now.

AJ was doing OK for a while IMO in reaction, although I'm not fond of the way he mischaracterized what Despo said ("he indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are town") and then when called on it backtracked to "well that's how I interpreted it"...  Questionable.

Lewis appears to be making mountains out of molehills - first game here, and I'm sure he's not familiar with the general feel of our games.  Early D1 there really is little to go on, so most cases are trumped up or meta based - and since he doesn't know our metas, nitpicking is pretty much the way to go I suppose...  But I disagree with the way he's characterizing Wombat's play, especially picking on the FOS without a vote thing - that looked pretty much like a joke to me, and most everyone was very much still joking around.

I agree with the first two parts of this (that was how I read those interactions too), but it falls flat when Tress challenges Lewis.  She states he is making mountains out of molehills and then backtracks in the next sentence with the bold.  She gives herself an out while FoSing him and defends Wombat.

Scum lean.

I may chalk this post up to the meds talking, but this post bothers me.  Last part first, I hardly see making a mountain out of a mole-hill in regards to Womby's "non-joke" reasons for keeping his vote where it is.  If it was just a joke vote, why has he kept it where it is?  I am strange to your mafia ways, yes, but I assume that the truth is still the truth here, right?

While my mountains are more like medium-sized mounds......well, at least C-Cups......Tress actually goes on to do just what she accuses me of in the paragraph just above said accusation.  She doesn't like AJ's poking around and calls it questionable, which is exactly what I am calling Wwwwombat's weak reasons for keeping his vote.

And yeah, leaving my vote on AJ. His misrepping + the blatant omgus is def enough for me atm. Don't get the sudden CFD on Wombat.

And fyi, not as a sleight to Wombat, but tbh I think I can read him fairly well. For a long time I always saw him as obvtown in games, and kept hoping to see him as scum so I could refresh myself on his scum meta and see if it would stand out. Well, I've seen him as scum twice in recent memory, and both times I was able to read him as scum. So far I'm not picking up on any of the stuff I saw in those other games.

Quoting you on this one because....dang....anyways, I think I read you CLEAR, San Diego......but AJ Mantooth isn't striking me as scum in his posts.

Truth is I DO feel uncomfortable with the Wwwwwomby train growing in w's so suddenly with the MOD's timer posting as a catalyst.  What bothers me more is how DESPO and TRESS seem more concerned with picking apart the arguments made by AJ and I whilst ignoring those sneaky scum-for-nothings who joined the bandwagon.

Perhaps a Wwwwwomby lynch should go through.   Should Champ get WHAMMMMMIED and flip town, it makes Ron and Veronica LOCKCLEARed!  Flip scum, well... ;)

How can you have Despo as CLEAR and yet FoS him for not paying attention to the "bandwagoning?"  In case you say you aren't FoSing Despo then let me ask you why it bothers you that Despo isn't focusing on the bandwagoning?  It can't be because you thought him a better player and it would make more sense to straight up ask him in a direct question.

So again, why FoS someone and declare them town within three sentences?

All the things you have brought up about Wombat tho are either not out of the norm for around here, or he has addressed fairly easily. I like where your head is at, trying to find stuff, I just don't think you have anything with Wombat so far. He could be scum but right now I'm not seeing it, and the speed with which his train grew is slightly discomforting as well, even with the deadline being posted.

Lol

I still say we auto lynch anyone who says lock clear...

I agree, and we start with the ones overusing lockclear AND frozen

## Vote Des

Scummy first post is scummy.  Definitely plenty to go on and comment on yet posts a joke vote.  scum lean on Vos.

Observations so far:

Wombat trying to start a lynch train

Des buddying Lewis (and Wombat)

Wombat overplaying his train

Lewis playing carefree

Krak and Lenlo playing nice solid D1-townies

AJ doing a reasonably good job at "defense" from the train

Nolder doing a cheap sheep-vote

Wombat overplaying carefreeness when he starts getting votes

Getting more town-vibes from Des when he starts WOTing.

Uneasy with Jack clearing Nolder because he was too plainly scummy for his skills

Wary of Tress, she seems to be directing attention, but giving her benefit of the doubt

Also meh at Krak voting me without adding anything to it, for jokevoting "too late"

I'll ##Unvote

Interesten in Tress' reads. Also think Ice has been suprisingly quiet. Adviced to stay abit more in the background? Wombat reads as pretty scummy to me, but on the other hand he has done the best job at garnering reactions at getting the party started. While I do think he overplayed it, that's my opinion and doesn't have to be a scumtell

I'm still very unsure here, but for now I will go with my guts and

##Vote Jack

His clearing of Nolder was pretty buddying-up, and while not many posts yet something just seems off here.

Don't like this post either.  He comments on a lot without saying much but what stands out are his reads on me and Lenlo.  I don't think I've been playing a town game at the point of this post but only because I haven't really been playing any game imo.  It was pretty much all joke posts up until this point except for my vote on Vos (which was because of his first post which I tried to quote).  I don't have a read on Len at this point in my catch-up either because he hasn't really said anything.

What really stands out though is his contradiction concerning Wombat and Jack.  He says that Wombat reads scummy but tries to brush it off while voting Jack without much evidence besides "buddying" and "something is off."  So Vos decides to "go with his gut" and votes Jack which seems really weird because his gut is telling him Wombat is scum but he's ignoring it for some reason.

After posting I realized I should probably clarify - when I comment on Tress' post and agree with the "first two parts" of her argument what I mean is the Wombat and Despo interactions - game starting and reaction testing, respectively.

Milk was a baaaaad decision!

It drives me nuts when townies are anti-town.  JackD, next time you are about to die, be EXPLICIT in what you are trying to say.

How about this:

"Hey Guys, Nolder is on my QT but he just ratted me out so I think he's scum and that one player from each group QT is mafia.  This explains why Nolder was going after the inactive ICE (who is likely mafia) because if he flipped mafia, it would make Nolder look sooooooo town, he would need a mayor!"

So, it is possible that there is a mafia on each of our CUTIES.  Makes sense why I was not told in any way who my teammates are or their alignment.  I only have my name and faction.

Why did you support the lynch when you haven't read the thread?

I saw this last page and it gave me some credibility to pick a side before the flip.

Pretty much everything in his self vote post read wrong.  I was pushin the mods to let me in then so I could hammer.

So Nolder.....you really DO hate those inactives, don't you?  Well, fear not!  Because we did NOT lynch Ice, he has been promptly replaced by the LEGEND HIMSELF.... DARTHE!!!!

Curious though.  Who else besides JackD was Egyptian?

15 divided by 5 equals 3, if all things are supposed to be equal.  I think they are.  A game like this needs symmetry.

but if he is correct, then that would mean 5 of them.  5 out of 15 would be 1/3.  Still within the realm of fair cricket.

So yes, we need to hear from the other two Egyptians now.  Since their mason has now gone kaput, that essentially vets them as ## Heather Locklears, right?
