Hmmmm.  It has been my humble experience that the first vote in mafia is typically just playing around.  The first UNVOTE, however, typically suggests otherwise.

 

Is it possible that Dawnflower unvoted Wombat because, until then, he had the majority vote?   Quite curious.

 

First kinda serious post of the game. Some general speculation. I think it was a joke vote but im making a notce of it.

 

Checking in, saying hi etc etc etc. As usual, i will follow through notifications (evil work blocking DM   ).

Dont like this vote. If it was a joke vote, I feel it should be alot more obvious but to me it looks like he could be sneaking his way onto what I would call an easy lynch.

 

And I think I shall ##Vote AJ. Wombat's hunches are usually pretty good, and it's easy to get AJ to squeal if he's scum.

Again. I think its to late in the game content wise for joke votes and these two seem to be hitting it off, using joke votes to pile onto Des without having to give a real reason.

 

Wombat and AJ with a bit of Des thrown in looks mostly town on town.  Des comes out the worst to me, slight scum lean there. 

 

Ah. Well I wont care about the scummy part thats unchangeable but ill work on commenting on the game more while still getting those in.

 

But this is the scummiest post of the game.  Lenlo goes from joketastic to suddenly very agreeable.

I seriously don't understand your statement there. You seem to be acknowledging what I am saying about Despo, but somehow that leads you to the conclusion that I am scum??

 

 

I acknowledged that you said it.  I didn't say it was correct.  Despo doesn't need to know I'm town in order to sheep me on D1.  At the very least, it gives him info on me.

 

Obviously you don't think I am correct if your vote is any sort of indication. I can see where you're coming from on trying to gain info on you. It didn't come across that way to me, however. Do you think you are so easily read for Despo to sheep you without question after a few posts? He indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are Town.

I like this point by AJ. I dont think Des is scum, but im feeling bad about Wombat. The way hes acting and his responses arnt leaving me with good feelings.

 

 

FYI, my initial vote on AJ was about 75% serious.  It is now 100% serious.  He is obvious mafia.  His trying to accuse Despo instead of me looks like an attempt to discredit his train without looking like complete and total OMGUS.  Also, his accusation of Despo town reading me was not only unfounded, but wouldn't even make sense if it were founded.

 

My point on Despo is a legit one, even if you can't or refuse to see it. And as far as wanting to avoid OMGUS, what does that matter? If I felt like I had reason to vote you, I would. OMGUS is a poor and unreliable 'scum' tell at best IMO. Unfounded how? Despo said himself that when you are town that your hunches are good. You voted me on a 'hunch' therefore Despo has to assume that you were town in order for the hunch to be good and to follow it himself. How did he come to this conclusion based on your posts prior to that one? That is my point, which I have been trying to express all along. Lol like that seriously doesn't bother you? I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point. Regardless, it's something that I'll keep in my pocket for later game.

 

Wombat says he is 100% on AJ but later on he switchs to Nolder? Why when your 100% scum on AJ? Again I like AJ's Def and dont like Wombats brushing it off. I detest the phrasing of the bolded though. This looks horrible to me and while I thought AJ was town before now im not so sure.

Here I was thinking I'm going to have to reset my view of this game and start from scratch when I got home, but you saved me the hassle.

 

This is just a terrible nudge in my direction. This is the type of snipe posts I expect scum to make, especially with the intentional usage of buzzwords like 'flailing'. The irony is only made sweeter with how you say you aren't even reading my posts, which of course is helpful. If you truly feel this way then perhaps you can bring up your dislike for me to address instead of sitting on the sidelines and lobbing crap like this up. It feels even worse when I couple it with your weaksauce vote on Vos earlier where you just quoted his post and then added your vote without any commentary.

Because just because he isn't holding up well to scrutiny doesn't necessarily mean he isn't town.

I haven't seen anything I'd consider definitively scummy from AJ so I'm not voting him.

I apologize, but I really don't see how AJ has done anything other than what the rest of us have done.  Apply pressure and call people out for the same things we have all called each other out on.  He's been active and responded with logical reasons for everything he posted. 

 

Perhaps we play differently here, but it has been my best mafia experiences when we catch a scummy by his/her actions not her words.  From what I have seen here at DM, none of the players here seem to be morons.  We're all playing with logical people, so no mafia in perfect mental health would vote without some fragment of logic attached to it.

 

Still, I'll bet if you took a poll among the legends of mafia from all the world over and asked them....

What? Im not begging for anything. Afew hours ago id say Id reread. I failed to do so when I stated I would and wanted to explain why it took so long. I know people were waiting on/expecting it.
