Yeah I was surprised people were reading him so hard as town during that time. There was a significant amount of evidence against him at that point.

The whole point of this one was that Godzillas series is filled with really random mismatched powers. They dont seem to work all that well together but it stays balanced.

I definitely let myself get caught up in the miller v. tracker claim.  Mostly because I just didn't expect a basic game to throw that wrench.

Can you explain to me what the benefit was of defending Jack while you actually thought he was mafia?

Wasn't defending him. Was buddying him. Hoping he'd lead me to others.

 

I'd gone @ him for 5 straight games and he ended up being town in most. Even tho I picked up on scumtells early on, I knew that going at him early again would likely just allow my voice to get drowned out by people thinking I had tunnelvision. Thought if I buddied him I wouldn't have to worry as much about being NK'ed

Yeah you did lol. No biggy though, I'm actually surprised I lasted as long as I did. It seemed like with each new Day someone else was calling me scum, but hey, I'll take the W. And I agree there was a good bit of evidence to throw at me here. I pushed the Despo lynch bigtime D1 (he flipped town), started the Ice lynch D2 (he flipped town), Leno was NK'd almost instantly once he started calling me scum, etc. 

 

SMH.  The night I tracked Krak, AJ submitted both actions.  Bah.

And for the record, my intent was not to force a random.

 

That would be stupid.

 

I legitimately thought that we would go into Night phase w/o a lynch and if Despo wasn't getting strung up then I wanted to let it be, more so for posturing reasons. I didn't want to move onto either the Amega or Cloud wagons after calling them town reads all Day and basically taking a hard stance against Des/Jack.

 

I felt like if we were able to get Des lynched on D1, the momentum would carry pretty heavily for the rest of the game. The random ended up being more intense then I expected but it worked out pretty nicely for us in the end.

Also I still dont understand where you got the idea that no lynchs are all right. As I said I have never been in a game where it was acceptable.

It's really not that rare, several games lately have been ran that way. I run mine that way usually. CS in the Hydra game did. Nolder runs his similarly. And like I said, I checked the rules. I didn't assume since it was a Darthe game like everyone else had. Do you think someone like Ice or Player would've been familiar with how Darthe randomizes lynches, or even what a random lynch is?? I looked specifically, didn't see a rule for them, so thought NL was okay.

IMO this game would have went a lot more smoothly had it been more active.  I think this is the least active one I have ever hosted.

Maybe things have changed since I last played, cause the last time I played before the Hydra game and House was November.

I'm not trying to point any fingers here, just clarifying where I was coming from since I caught a lot of flak for it.
