it's not flailing to avoid my lynch. if anything im trying to prevent cloud. im not worried about people getting a lynch on me. 

 

regardless of trying to secure a lynch just for the sake of a lynch seems pointless especially if both parties have stated they think they're town.

 

BS that you're trying to prevent Cloud, who claimed VT. There is no town role you could have that would give you that motivation. If you're a PR you wouldn't risk sacrificing yourself for a V, and if you're a V it wouldn't make a difference.

Walking it back awfully quickly here. Two posts ago it was disgusting, not it is just odd but too early to call scum vibey.

first off you dont know what ill do and when ill do it and for what reasons.. regardless of the fact cloud is vt. he seems to be the only one with head screwed on straight. so if i can keep a solid town player alive i will. Much more useful than derp town barking at the shadows when the killers walking towards them. 

 

and just because i say someones post is disqusting or "terrible" as des does. doesn't mean there scummy.. it mean's i dont like their line of thinking and what they're trying to say. 

 

it was an odd thing for her to do. we dont get a modkill as far as i know so why wouldn't you stick with your scum vibes instead of trying lynch someone you have a strong town feel for.. might as well just sign up for the scum team..

Sorry just got done with a 4 hour drive. I don't think Des is scum. I do think Amega is scum. I would explain more but I'm on phone. I get access I an actual keyboard in an hour but that's after deadline.

 

I'm iffy ok cloud but wouldn't want to lynch him just yet. Might be able to switch if required. Phone is hard for me though.

Short version. Yay scum crap two power roles dead. My gut is telling me to take a closer look at Cloud tomorrow. Could be baseless, just gut. On pg 14 we see AJ advocating a no lynch saying he doesn't think there is a penalty and that he is unwilling to lynch Cloud and Amega. I want to look at him for this comment, as not reaching a majority always carries a penalty.

 

He also reiterates that his vote is his only power effectively claiming vanilla town in a very subtle manner. This pings me hard. Basically I wanna lynch AJ tomorrow, not feeling him. When I'm back in town tomorrow night/afternoon I'll work up a full case on him but for now I'm on an iPad so can't do to much.

Not always. Some games will go into Night if no majority is reached by DL. I assumed that was the case here since it wasn't specified in the rules.

 

It wasn't very subtle if you understood the meaning behind it. Why does that ping to you? You got the message apparently.

I've never been in a game were not reaching a majority was alright. Voting and reaching no lynch is fine, but we didn't do that. We never reached a majority which is always bad in my experience.

 

And it was subtle cause you didn't outright state it, you kinda left it there to be found for people to go "Oh well ok, that's interesting next post". Townies IMO don't feel the need to state things like that unless pressured. You weren't pressured, you were dropping hints/trying to influence people's views of you. That pings to me.

Yeah no, Darthe said that it would go random if we would fail to achieve a majority and going random with Darthe is about the stupidest thing you could do in mafia. The last couple of hours before the deadline was just bad town play.

How do you see that comment making sense with Amega as scum?

 

I think he was trying to say that Jack would know he was acting very townie because he is town, therefore genuine, and Jack is scum so he would know Amega's alignment versus the majority of the rest of us who only know ourselves.

What i dont like is players saying I wont vote so and so  or multiple so and so's when DL is close. Totally untown play. As for wanting to let it go random? Also untown and totally nuts in a darthe game

Amega, I wanted to secure a lynch on anyone, to avoid just what happened now. AJ and I were voting the same person (Des) with 3 people tied at 4 votes with very little time to go before deadline, and it was 2am my time when I said I'd be willing to consolidate; I wanted to go to bed. If we'd moved our votes to either you or Cloud, you'd have been at L-1 with a much bigger chance at securing a lynch. Then when I offered and Jack showed up, AJ starting waffling and didn't wanna anyway. I was tired, I had a headache, I was grumpy, and I went to bed because I don't sit up half the night only waiting for deadline.

 

Des WASN'T a viable option for a lynch at that moment. It seemed like only AJ and I were only, with all three of you stuck at L-3, and both me and AJ was voting Des. Our biggest chance of securing a lynch, was moving to either you or Cloud, and hoping someone else who wasn't already voting that person came along to hammer. Because I have played in Darthe games before. Random is BAD. Always very bad. Even when it's not stated in the rules. And, AJ should know this. Wich makes him look pretty horrible IMO.

It's uncommon to me, yes. As I said in all my games I remember very few where not reaching a majority was acceptable. I have always seen warnings and random mod killings as punishment. Not reaching a majority is bad. Always.

 

Breadcrumbing is not a town move in and of itself IMO. If scum figure it out before town then they now have more info than us. If you want to clear yourself claim, don't breadcrumb. And I've never seen someone breadcrumb vanilla town. So intent is not necessarily the same.

All of you guys are sitting here pointing a finger at me like I'm the reason it went random. Any of you could've changed your votes at anytime. A majority could've been reached with or without my vote so placing all the fault on me is ridiculous. 7/12 had to vote for majority, my vote alone didn't decide the random. Look at what happened: Jack was voting Amega - Amega was town and Jack was scum. Big friggin' surprise. I stated my opinion on the subject and genuinely didn't expect it to go violently random because nothing stated so specifically.

Like I've said several times now, nothing stated as much. I assumed wrongly.

 

Difference of opinion on the subject, I guess. Mafia starts with more information from the beginning, regardless. They already know who the townies are, but the townies don't, so I think it's important to try and prove/clear yourself so that cooperation is possible.

Yes but you didn't try to prove/clear yourself though. You hinted and with that hint if it's genuine the mafia know that you are not a power role giving them a smaller pool to shoot from to get rid of them. If you want to prove your town do it through actions not through hints and ATM I don't think your town.
