I agree with you on Dice.  I also think what Darthe posted was a hint towards a possible viewing when he started out saying he knew Dice was scum last day phase.

Apologies for being out.  I was stuck in an airport yesterday with no internet after my phone died.  Ugh.

 

Wait..is Turin playing in this game?

This Dice and Peace both jumping on Tommy. 

 

can someone confirm?  We can probably only afford 1 misslynch?

 

Peace trying to look townie by asking the question instead of just adding it up.

 

Ok tomorrow this game WILL be my top priority. It has been at the bottom of my list since my own game started and that's very wrong, I have not put in enough effort and I suck. I got so wiped from cleaning the kitchen today I haven't been able to do much more than lie down and read my book. Tomorrow will be full reread, even if I have to have my phone in one hand and a washcloth in the other. I wanna see who Wombat interacted with, what he said about others, who he didn't say much about, and what others said of him.

 

But quick reads before I get that in is:

 

Hallia: Her clearing by BFG unfortunatley does little to calm my worries, as there is a very, very big chance there is a silvertounge. She isn't participating. She either sheeps along or drops the tiny little FoSes she makes very fast. She's apparantly active and reading the thread, because she drops little comments here and there, most of them not game-related. Then she makes easy votes on people who are already in the spotlight. She doesn't seem like she's even trying to do what's good for town.

 

BFG: I see her as more or less cleared. I thought it likely yesterday, when I'd managed to completly miss the LD claim, that it was a big gambit. The claim makes that very unlikely in my eyes. Also, she seemed very sincere to me in the post where she was apologetic towards me for having come forwards as the item-giver.

 

Tommy: My gut says mafia, my head is conflicted. Yes, he was after Wombat very heavily. But the cockiness seems too much like mafia setting themselves up as town leader, something I have seen Tommy do as mafia before. I'm not able to trust him, but he's not my strongest read.

 

Peace, I feel like he's had pro-town posts most of the game, but at the same time I'm struggling remembering specifics. On the other hand, I think he'd have slipped up a bit by now, as he's not the strongest player as mafia. Tenative null for town.

 

Turin: He's a big null for me. Too few posts that are very far between them, makes it hard to get a proper read. He's one I'm gonna do an ISO read on for sure, to see if that helps form a better read.

 

Dice: Darthe's little gambit last Day makes me very wary. Darthe tried to pull a "I was just joking guiz, I didn't have a NA result on him", and then he flipped Voyuer. Makes me wonder if he did know something about Dice but was hoping to live another night to get more results. About him being nightkilled it could have been an attempt to set-up dice, or make us think it was a set-up so it gained dice some town cred. In other words, hopeless pile of WIFOM. Uneasy feelings.

 

TG: Still strikes me as towniesh.

 

Lenlo: Still uneasy about him. He's floating by and although several people through the game has stated suspicioun, he's never gotten close to a lynch. That gives me bad vibes.

 

I think Darthe got something on Dice.

AJ -- dismissive
Des -- always attacking 
Tommy -- FoS's me for saying he was skimming
Lenlo -- Snaps at him 
 
But with TG, he just talks about something off-topic. TG is the lead wagon at that time, and Wombat shows no interest in discussing it further.
 
Then he unvotes Des and vanishes...
 
 
Again ignores TG wagon and tries to set up suspicion on people for when Pral flips town.

 

 

No idea what Wombat is doing in regard to me besides trying to buddy me a bit?

 

 

Doing a reread.  23 pages in and what's stood out:

 

Turin - Accused Des of setting up lynches D1
 
Mish - Still has that townie vibe
 
Amega/Rags - 12 pages in and I didn't really...even...notice you were in the game? - 23 pages in says 'sorry for lurking, haven't seen anything worth commenting on'
but there had been quite a lot.
 
BFG - LD
 
TG - Going back to D1, LD was mentioned, and passed off the chance that  Pral was asking for a LD statement.  I think it's funny, because turns out there is one.  Seems like he might've known.  He also tried to build a case against Darthe D1
 
Lenlo - 10 pages in nothing but fluffiness, eventually moved on to arguing about TG's deleted/edited post and the meaning behind it.  Distracting at best.

 

 

How would I know if there was an LD?

 

 

I like your Hallia vote though...but that's tough because I think you are scum Tommy.

 
 

Hallia's been scummy lurking all game.  I don't remember her taking one stand.
 
Tommy has done everything he can do to sow confusion and take the game off track.

"Nah multiple dead townies had cleared him and he knew Wombat was a liar but nobody cares, they're not paying attention, just tunnel on Tommy."

Peace, I thought Tommy was your strongest read, why are you willing to vote with him? Have your reads changed since Day 2, think I remember Hallia and Tommy being your strongest suspects then as well.


I'll hopefully have chance to reread tonight.

 

 

This.  Peace is just hoping for a lynch wherever he can get it and not putting in the work.  Ready to vote Tommy, me, whoever.  Scum.

Starting my reread now, but it'll take me hours to get it done. All the effin WoTs.

 

Precipitous, in the way I meant it, means moving forward too quickly.  I've seen you as scum jump too quickly at getting a mislynch rather than calmly scumhunting and thinking through things.  Kinda like what Peace is doing right now, voting along with his biggest "scum read" in order to get a lynch as fast as possible.

Yes I think Darthe had something too, but he pretended he hadn't in the hopes of surviving another night.

 

I'd much prefer Turin or Dice over Peace. I'm still not sold on Peace being mafia. Dice on the other hand is pretty solid mafia if you do an ISO on him and Kaylee. There's following, nudging, not much original content. Kaylee's "that warrants looking into" and Dice's "huh I think the NK was a frame job"-posts are especially ick.

Stupid question.  How to ISO?  If I type dice into the search bar and only search this thread for some reason it doesn't give me posts by dice, only posts where Dice's name is mentioned.

While in the thread, click the magnifying glass icon next to the search bar. You'll get to an error-side, but beneeath the error text is a search form. Type in the name of the person you wanna serch for (full username with correct capital letters, that'd be dicetosser1 for dice), choose "show as posts" further down on the page, press search. Voila.

That is about as much answer as I can give.  I can speculate that Wombat didn't feel the need to keep pushing me when I was biggest train in order to try and keep himself looking clean, but I don't have an answer for Wombat's play re: me. 

 

I can say that I voted Wombat before his claim, and also voted him over BFG when they both claimed House.  I think my voting counts for more than Wombat's buddying me.

my comment re the nk being a set up to make town sus on someone....is there anyone here who has been mafia in a number of games and either not done this or at least seen it suggested? Its a common tactic.

Also, I lied about Dice to see where he would vote and how he would react.  Odd that he joins Wombat here or did he simply leave his vote through the night because he is Aussie?

 

he says here he lied to see my reaction. So mish is putting words into a deader mouth now.

 

I am seriously starting to think mish is mafia who has done a good job of making me think she is town. The push on hally, the mediating. But now she tries twisting things and on me who i know is town.

Mish is an uncounterclaimed inventor type role, that was instrumental in swinging the votes from myself to Wombat. Ignoring the rest of her play, that was a strong townie move.

 

Sorry, I tried to read last night but I'm at my parents and kept getting interrupted. I'll definitely have chance later today.
