House and his team had been working tirelessly over the past three days.  The patient had been exhibiting new symptoms almost every few hours.  They had tested for several diseases already, but had come up short.  It was beginning to weigh on people.  House was even more of a grump, and the rest of the team was exhausted.  They were working around the clock, at half speed lately, and finding themselves more and more often coming up short when it came to finding any disorder that fit all the symptoms.

Beepers started going off simultaneously and everyone leapt up, running toward the elevator.   The patient had produced a new symptom:  sluggishness and slurred speech.  They all held their breath as they went down two floors and sidled up to the room.  A nurse ran up with new lab results, the team having, on a whim, ordered tests for a few very specific medical problems.  It felt like a Hail Mary.  If these results didn’t show the problem then there might not be a patient on whom to test. 

 

As the team, minus a few members who were helping the patient, poured through the results, they found negative after negative.  It was disheartening and perplexing.  They all took a collective breath as they turned to the last page.

 

 

And there it was.  That sneaky little….

 

 

 

 

Wombat, Heavy Metal Poisoning, Mafia goon, has been lynched.

Doesn't work in this case, as there's a restriction, can only use one sentence. But I was wondering if people were to say "I am anti town" if that would work the same way?

 

Besides there are other ways to balance a role like this once it's out in the open.

Don't know how you pulled that reverse off BFG...but great job.  Nice to see everyone not rushing to go with a claimed cop viewing.  DM mafia is getting better.

 

I missed all that guys cause I'm flipping from graveyards to days.

Darthe, to an extent I agree about asking everyone for a statement, but I'd rather mafia didn't know who I was checking, easiest way I can think of is to be able to check anyone.
