well the way our work leave works is that our leave for holidays is built up with our regular leave... so they don't have to pay holiday pay if you have to work, because you still get the day off... you just might not get it on the day of the holiday

And that's the way a lot of hospitals work Jea... if they didn't then they'd have to pay a BUNCH of people holiday pay... because hospitals can't shut down

I don't know if there are any wal-marts outside of the states *shrugs* It was definitely something to get used to while I was in Spain. I actually had to go to just a grocery store, then just a clothings store, and I didn't mind at all lol

I don't mind wal-mart. My wife got 25% off an entire purchase for working Thanksgiving morning, along with holiday pay. The discount saved us about $60 on household items and gifts that we were going to purchase anyways. Individual wal-mart managers, however... maybe not so much.
