Mish's case for voting AJ was just lazy. Her refusing to admit it was lazy makes her look like she's afraid to give ground cause she thinks it will make her look scummy. Scum are more concerned with their in-thread impression than town for the most part cause scum-hunting can make people seem like they are reaching or being nit-picky. That said, it's unreasonable to refuse to give in on a point when multiple people are calling you on a logic fail or an inconsistency. This should be our vote today.

 

It's interesting how some things are generally pro-town, but can be abused to try and push people off trains. It's generally good for town to take their time especially with the early votes, but Mish claiming there is any sort of a rush to judgment on her because -- 1-no deadline (which existed at the time of her claim) 2-plenty of time left-- simply reeks of someone clawing, kicking and screaming to stall their train and avoid dying. There are only 4 votes on her and 8 are needed to lynch, I fail to see a rush to anything here.

 

 

 

I was responding to AJ who was chastising Des for trying to stall my train... If I'm the lynch today, so be it, but I don't want town to start D2 without as much interactions as we can possibly squeeze out of D1.

 

 

And honestly; because several people don't agree with me, I should drop my argument and move on? I think the mafia would love if that was the norm. So I should be lynched today because I refuse to drop an argument when I get a bit of resistance?

Oh I got that you were trying to be tongue in cheek, it just felt kinda staged to me, especially considering you were already pretty up in arms just a post or two before that. Makes your emotional reaction look less genuine.

Right now I'd be WTL either Yates, AJ, or Mish. AJ's omgus on Mish was blech, but I still think that post from Mish could have been a snipe post. Also intrigued by Lily's last post- saying "I have to admit it, Mish is looking scummy" before voting her looks like it could be a reluctant bus vote.

Not a bus, just that she's usually viewed as scummy and I usually understand where she's coming from. This time, not so much.

Now I feel weird about AJ for jumping off the train so quickly when prodded by Yates. Nothing was done like a boss, it was a deliberate attempt to claim info from the role pm and even though I think Des is scummy atm, I agree that it's a bad faith move. It promoted the mod to come in the thread to say what you could and could not reveal. Also, if famine affects scum, I presume we all start out the same.

Prodded? No, I'm still voting Mish. I did pick up on what he is saying though and don't think it was done deliberately. That said, I can somewhat agree with what you are saying in your last sentence.

Bolded is why I think this whole thing could be meaningless. I had a theory about the aristocrats starting off with more bread but using it faster, since as rich folk they're more prone to waste and excess, but that was just a theory. Golden could have the right of it.

 

Underlined: if you don't think it was deliberate, why would you think she would still be scum? A scummie "dropping" a townslip WOULD be deliberate, a townie dropping one accidentally wouldnt be.

I clearly stated that although it could've been a townslip on her part, that it's also a very real possibility that WE ALL STARTED WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF BREAD. You are even saying the same thing there, so how are you not catching on? So no, by her saying that she'd be dead by D4 wouldn't be deliberate because it could say the same thing in all role PMs, regardless of their alignment.

I have a theory that the scum take the bread from the dead. So if they get RB-ed they get more desperate for a NK. If that isn't a game mechanic? I think I'll add it to a game. Also, I'm trying to figure out a way to reward activity with partial pieces of bread. Work in progress.

This is false. I never said that I think you are town suddenly, I was discussing with Yates with what he thought could've been a townslip. I picked up on it as well, which is why I looked at your wagon for potential scum in the event that you are town. He asks me that if I see it as well, why haven't I unvoted? Maybe. The way she based her vote on me as if she was aware that Hallia was town still doesn't sit right, especially without any previous flips to make such an associative correlation. But if we're thinking the same thing here, it could have been a town slip. Then again, everyone's PM could say the same thing in regards to what I think you are referring to.

 

Out of the two I might lean more on Lily. Her early post where she unvoted Ishy was very neutral, which I quoted and she addressed. I didn't mention it at the time but she's also one of the last people I wanted to immediately join the wagon on Mish with me.

 

Despo is wily. A lot of his theories don't really add up in retrospect. The biggest one that stands out in my mind was him saying that I tried using the OP to gain town-cred, when later acknowledging that all players would be affected by the famine so therefore I would've known from my role PM regardless.

The green: Still going on about this even after I explained my reasons for the various scenarios (you town thus not knowing hallia's alignement, you mafia and hallia town, you both mafia) feels like trying to kick a dead horse.
