French wine is the best.

Guess you've never heard of the Judgement of Paris:tongue:

Wine grapes are so finicky that it would be impossible for any one region or country to be "the best" at all types.

Best Chards absolutely come from either Napa or Sonoma valleys in California.

Best Rieslings come from the Rhine River region of Germany.

Best Malbecs come from Argentina.

Bordeaux and MAYBE Pino Gris?  I'll give you France.

Cabs are California and Washington.

Merlots come from Tuscany.

Pino Noirs are Russian River Valley or Sonoma Coast - again in California.

I could go on.  But I'm too sleepy and love beer too much.

One day, I'm going to Versailles

Beautiful.  I also fell in love with the Louvre.  The building ITSELF is a work of art.

I didn't say the French were best at every style, just the best. The Red Sox are the best team in the MLB, but that doesn't mean Jon Lester is a better pitcher than Clayton Kershaw or that Big Papi is a better hitter than Miguel Cabrera.

The French are superb at most styles. No other country can boast such breadth of expertise.

Also, Alsacian Rieslings > German Rieslings and Bordeaux blows any varietal out of the water IMO. Argentine Malbec is very nice though. And Californian Chardonnay.

Always wanted to go to an open bat party.

I just had the best Kentucky theme party idea ever. Bourbon + Louisville Sluggers + Thoroughbreds. What could go wrong?

Notre Dame was my favorite. Also I'd recommend the Musee d'Orsay as Monet is a million times better in person.

At the same price, the Bordeaux is usually lower quality than Italian or Jura wines, fe.

Of course, there are some top wines at very expensive prices. I don`t care enough to try out their quality, though...

You can sign me up too. Won`t be able to play till 2014, but that doesn`t seem to constitute a problem...

That's only like 4 days away now or something lol

Can you sign me out? I won't be having the time for this game after all.

Kk

Hope life settles for you soon
