Blood and ashes This game just might be more difficult to win than I at first thought.

She is the only one who thinks Mish might be mafia, and then sets up a WIFOM situation by saying that Lenlo wouldn't give a firm town read on a scummate.
I think I made it clear that I find it doubtful Mish is mafia. Looking through Lenlo's reads list, it seemed likely to me he'd have scattered his teammates into different categories (town reads, unsure/leaning town, unsure/leaning scum, and scum). Of the straight town reads, Mish is the only one who wasn't either dead and flipped town, or almost certainly confirmed town. Unless Snow's LD result was a gambit to give him town cred for Lenlo's flip, which I doubt as well.

We're more likely looking at Len's scummates being in his lower categories.

You said in your case that Mish could be mafia, and even if you say it's unlikely you are still bringing up the possibility that she just might be mafia. And now you are saying the exact same thing about Snow and that his LD result could be a gambit, but then you turn it around again by saying that you find it doubtful and that the rest of the scum team probably lies in the lower categories. It looks like you are trying to play both sides of the argument so you don't have to take a stance which a lot of players do when they are mafia.

Snow's LD wasn't a gambit because Lily later posted that the trigger from the Day has been hit:

Yes, Snow clearly did have an LD action available due to the trigger. What would you have done with it if you were mafia and one of your teammates was clearly going down?

I've made my stance clear, and I'm not trying to play both sides of the fence by mentioning other possibilities exist.

I was clear that I think it's very doubtful that Snow was pulling a gambit, just like I think it's very doubtful that Mish is mafia. That means Lenlo didn't list any of his scummates among his town reads. Is that likely? It needs to be taken into consideration.

My only strong town reads at this point are NotBob and Leelou. I believe Ishy's claim.

Leaning town on Cloud and Mish as well. Had a slightly town read on Hally, but Hally/TG adding nothing will get you nowhere.

So we caught one maffia so far, there should be what, four more?

I believe it's time to review D1/D2 in the light of recent events. That should yield something.

@NB - You're completely right in calling me out on my participation level, even though I said it would be worse. I'm totally lost in this game now, will catch this afternoon.

@NB: My memory is quite scatchy on D1-D3 now.

I was voting Krak/Moon because he was my best scum read. I'm not sure O'd be able to tell you what my other reads were at that point, my memory just don't work that way. I don't believe that parking your vote on someone should give you town credit by the way - anyone can do that.

You also quoted a list of mine, went back to it now. There's an error there (which I didn't even realize until you pointed it out now). That list I've given you there was from scum to town. I totally misread the order it should be (I'm sure I also read your post as scum to town too).

This is not a retcon, should be pretty obvious from my posts. As far as I can tell, Yates + NB1 were one of my strongest town leans at that point (and I'm sure I had given voice to that too!)

Not getting very far. So far I managed to pull the posts into my excel, starting on reading up on Cloud. Also started to read up from page 50 or so.

Leaning town on Cloud so far. BTW I do find his D1 train an interesting one (that he had only town on his train), but I don't know if that'd be a tell by itself.

It would be quite natural to have at least one maffia player on that train, whether he is town or scum.

Jesus friggin christ, I hope I get my internet back soon. I'm so sorry for being absent like this, but I really can't help it. It should, if all goes perfectly, be back to normal tomorrow.

I'd actually almost forgotten Cloud was playing in this game. I skimmed through his post, and after catching some fair amount of heat D1, he's been floating in the background and mostly following. And then now last Night he suddenly got defensive and loud again. And now he asks Leelou who she protected... Why do you wanna know that? To know who to NK next night?

My reads are a bit lost, the only one I'm trusting compeltly is Leelou, and Snow 95%. The rest... I dunno, I gotta do some rereading. But Cloud is pinging me very hard right now. I don't know what my instincts have been up to, usually I'm very aware of him the whole game, and it worries me very much that he's managed to sink even underneath my radar.

As to NB2...I hate it when NKs replace in. If they become town, mafia hates it because, a good part of the time, they were killed for their stance, not their role. Town hates it when they become mafia b/c they can just cruise off of their earlier town views.

So, I have my eye on NB2.

You didn't forget that I was in this game because you placed me in your "leaning town" list that you posted a while back. Here is the quote:

I also haven't been floating in the background and following other people around. I have the fourth highest post count in this game, and I think that I have posted enough original thoughts and reads. I have also defended myself and cased plenty of other people. You should back the things that you are saying up when you are accusing me of things. I got defensive because Not Bob was accusing me of being mafia, and I have him as my mafia read. I may have overreacted a bit though but that was because Aemon flipping town made me uncertain about my reads, and me getting defensive isn't really a scumtell because I act the same way when I'm town. I asked Leelou who she protected because that person would be town, and we can sure use that helpful info to catch the last mafia members. How could I have gotten underneath your radar if you thought I was town just before last Night?

I will do a reread tonight and think about the game some more because we aren't in the best position, and I don't want to count on another Doc save tomorrow.

Jesus friggin christ, I hope I get my internet back soon. I'm so sorry for being absent like this, but I really can't help it. It should, if all goes perfectly, be back to normal tomorrow.

I'd actually almost forgotten Cloud was playing in this game. I skimmed through his post, and after catching some fair amount of heat D1, he's been floating in the background and mostly following. And then now last Night he suddenly got defensive and loud again. And now he asks Leelou who she protected... Why do you wanna know that? To know who to NK next night?

My reads are a bit lost, the only one I'm trusting compeltly is Leelou, and Snow 95%. The rest... I dunno, I gotta do some rereading. But Cloud is pinging me very hard right now.
