Am I distancing myself from myself? No you dont find me suspicious, you just waited until someone else posted something that you could follow up with in the hopes it would start a train.

 

You are trying to distance from the perception that you are scum - making a silly move, acting not serious. And, that is why I find you suspicious. 

 

Bold: Here is the response. Acting not serious? Darthe has done the same with throwing out statements that have nothing to do with anything else yet you don't mention him. Is that because it's only suspicious when Leno does it?

 

I don't see Darthe doing something obviously silly as self-voting. Do you? There is joke voting and there is joke voting to throw the perception that you are being casual. Lenlo's vote seemd the latter. And, that is the basis of my vote.

I don't see how a vote for oneself on the first day is a scum tell.  Hell, I usually vote for Jason on the first day.  Based on the cases and counter-arguments, I don't think that Lenlo's vote is anything more than a joke vote that broke a rule, and I can't vote for him based on that.

 

I am curious, though, about NotBob's deflecting.

You mean NotBob's persistence to lynch Lenlo just because he self-voted? I could go for NotBob just because he isn't scumhunting, and is only going with his standard "herp derp lynching Darthe is the best move for town" thing, and voting for someone who self-voted without looking at the context of the vote. I have played a game or two with NotBob before though and this seems to be his usual play so I don't think his actions this game define him as scum.

 

I could ask the same question to you: why aren't you voting for Pral if you think his reasoning is flimsy?

Mafia often don't like to be seen agreeing with anyone in particular so have different reasons for voting, yet end up voting the same. That's why vote count analysis is a useful tool. It removes the reasons and only looks at the reality
