And suddenly Darthe is now willing to lynch me, despite being *almost as certain that I am town as he is about his own alignment* during night phase.

And he is mischaracterizing the reasons he is being voted or FOS' d.

I had you marked because in my mind there was no way you would start off bussing your teammate and then switch to defense, it's backwards. Further, your arguments on Berf made sense to me. However, your reads on me and structure doesn't make sense on retread. This could be a bit conf bias for you frankly annoying pushes on me, but I am calling it as I see it when I see it. It's worked so far.

TL;DR, I can change my reads whenever I feel they need to change. Would you disagree?

I was wrong. I can admit that. My thoughts on Beef are unfounded, pushed more by my reluctance to understand the need to see me as anything other that town than his play.

Voting is different from forming and leading lynches. I would be shocked if the mafia didn't vote either teammate.

So the thing that really boils my goat:

There are only two things I can find that could be signifiers for Desp -

A) He was trying to hit keywords.

B) Rando post number.

Both myself, Darthe, and Desp tried to catch a role. I obviously can't speak for Darthe, but I know I didn't, and we know Desp did.

Now, that being said, we can't guess what the keywords are, nor can we guess what rando post number the trigger may have been. So I am at an impasse.

I posted all this so everyone can throw their eyes over it.

Yes including mafia. But this information is handier for us at this point than it is for mafia.

Any thoughts?

I'm prob getting lynched today but meh, my mafia motivation is pretty low today. My reads for when I flip:

Scum: Darthe, Cindy, Peace, Hallia

Town: Berf, Mish, Krak, Tress

I just want to highlight this post by Des some time before he got lynched. Orange color denotes those who had voted Des at this point. Blue denotes those who never voted Des. Mish ended up as town. Hallia claims as a vig.

I am sure that the scum is among these names.

If mafia is indeed playing a risky gambit, I would have to look at Darthe. But, still not convinced that Des would want to sacrifice himself just to hide the final mafia.

My best guesses now is still between Krak and Tress.

I already gave my reads. That was my list in order of who I'm willing to vote. I'd prefer we consolidate on you, obviously, but if others don't agree, I'd go for Berf as a second choice, I think Pralaya is less likely, and Cindy even less than that.

Hally and Peace I don't want to vote.

I don't understand the reasons behind Cindy and others thinking me as scum. This is my first serious post after I replaced Panchi, where I am looking at Des and WBK as scum. And, both of them turned out to be scum.

Uff, I skimmed through the whole thread. Not a lot of things happening in the first 10 pages and things escalate quickly.

Berf: The main thing going against him was the train bandwagon he tried to start. However, at Day 1, it does not look scummy at all and all too obvious. Wifom or not, too much of a risk to do if he was scum. Givin him a pass

WBK: Was the first to jump on Berf's case. Clearly, looks like pouncing on an opportunity when others were looking elsewhere.

Des: All over the place. It is interesting to see that when Berf posts the "Despo train", Des remains silent till someone votes on Berf and then starts jumping on it

Mish and Tress: Leaning towards scummy but not getting good reads at the moment. Will be looking at them in the future.
