Read the Kingdom Hearts thread, and apparently Yates won ANOTHER scum game by fakeclaiming cop (plus that thread was just crazy)...I would suggest just quicklynching him D1 to avoid complications.

Wombat, thanks for the invitation, but it appears I'll be needed for the Die Hard game, and I just don't have the headspace for 1 game, let alone 2 and one being complex. I'll hover around and watch though, I'm intrigued by the setup. :)

I still want to know what happened. I asked Crusher but he got all philosophical on me.

From what I saw, Ape was doing a somewhat toned down Ape thing on the football board and slats told him to stop calling people stupid and said that if Ape responded with a semantic argument about how he was calling posts or arguments stupid and not posters that he would ban him.

 

So Ape responded with "Troll."

 

And the rest is history.

I'll admit I don't know him very well but in my limited experience I think Slats baits Ape.

Baiting someone to anger is just as wrong as insulting someone if not worse IMO.

Slats does not like Ape.  No mod should take a personal vendetta like that - if he continues, he should be removed from staff.  I'd do it in a heartbeat if I felt any of my staff were abusing their powers.

 

Unless I do it, in which case it is ok because I'm awesome*.
