Oh, I´m not much for the gender stereotypes but since you stressed that you can´t do two things at a time I thought you were, so I expected you to pay.

Tina echoes DPR.  Could be instinctual due to off-thread conversation and unconscious acknowledgement of DPR's seniority among the mafia team.

 

 

This is something I noticed in reread- a couple of people I already found scummy seemed to be trying to link DPR and other people that I now believe to be town. I'll give more examples in a sec. But yeah, this was a really unusual post. DPR's seniority among the mafia team? Note that in the spoiler text above, his vote is on Tina. NOT on DPR, who he says is "senior" of the mafia team.

 

 

 

 

And just because something is an opinion doesn't mean it's truth value is unknowable. I have come to my opinion through experience in successfully rolefishing and manipulating people who talk too much at night. You can WIFOM or deceive the mafia with night talk, but it's super risky. Most of the time it's best to shut up unless you really need to toss the dice.

 

Seriously, you can't see the forest because your head is stuck up your butt at this point. You read me as Town all last game when I actually was scum, and I'm getting the feeling you've got a little complex about it. Hmmm?

Tiinker echoes Krak's sentiments (Krak and Tinker are kinda lumped together for me, both are questionable mainly for their voting record)

I stand corrected. Krak was the first to push this point, and his vote is on her.

 

DPR says Krak was the first one to push the point about Tina's bandwagon vote, but anyone paying attention clearly knows this isn't true (WBK was the first one pushing it, and he and Tina had a few back and forth posts well before Krak pointed anything out). I'm thinking this could have been distancing on DPR's part (if I'm not mistaken he had Krak as scum on his reads on everyone).

 

Letting DPR dictate your moves from beyond the grave, eh?

I'm not seeing a whole lot of effort from her at this point.  It looks like she's trying to stave off anything of merit in the hope that DPR is lynched quickly.  She posts a couple of "I think so and so is scummy" and then makes no case.

 

I've seen posts where players have attempted a lengthy defense in sight of a lynch, mostly in which they let their emotion run wild, and turned out scum.  I'm not sure why, but for the moment I'm reading DPR as exasperated and annoyed town.

 

Also, I'm not sure if/why Darthe is "Big Game Hunting," but I want to say that you seem to be blinding yourself to other possibilities and other players.  That's not exactly the most worthwhile activity.

 

 

 

So I'm only going to say this once because it's really stuck out to me the past few games I've played, and nobody probably cares too much about my opinion, but I'm tired of the childish back and forth "he said, she said" dynamic that seems to have come to the fore of play style. It reads like this bullshit democratic v republican dross that fills the US legislature these days. The point is to catch someone in a lie because it might lead to the lynching of mafia, not for the gleeful taunting or name-calling that seems to follow most of those situations.  Also not sure when defending oneself against accusations and questions was suddenly equated with being defensive.  It seems you can't defend without being scummy anymore.

He also says Darthe is big game hunting, which is a lame way to discredit someone. How do you defend against that argument?

 

I wasn't discrediting him, as I said twice, I was calling his attention to what I thought was a blinding move.  And as much as you might crucify me for it at some point, I still am not convinced about Hallia.  I think your case for her is weaker than my case against her.

 

 

Leak, the problem is that DPR could individually be lynched for his play or his role claim and yet because he is DPR you newer people won't get on the fugging lynch. "Big Game Hunting" as you called it is an excuse to blow off my casework and pushes on the person who is, by far, the scummiest person in the game IMHO

 

I mean, that's one opinion.  I have played in plenty of games where a player gets over their head, someone or several someones cry for their lynch, and when they're lynched, they turn town.  DPR seems to have started making more sense as far as I am concerned.  As far as the whole "Cult of DPR," well I can't answer for others, but so what?  I'm not sure why this thought exists seeing as how he's a person that I don't even know irl and has no bearing in any way on me as a person (except maybe in how I play mafia on this forum).  I vote based on what I think, not how others are thought of (which is why I enjoy alt games so much).

 

I'm not trying to call out you as a shitty player or anything, just trying to point out what I thought might be detrimental to the town.  And while tunneling can be effective, and sensical (especially if you're 100% that someone is scum), it can also be blinding.  Just wanted to point that out, nothing more.

 

Attempting to lynch Hallia at this point is not only counter productive but useless.

 

Counter productive maybe, but I'd like to know why you think it's useless.  Do you think she's innocent, or do you just want DPR lynched asap?

Beyond which, the logic that we can wait on DPR's lynch in the hopes of a PR fixing it later is a stalling tactic. It's not even a very effective one. I've already pointed out that this could be circumvented and even if he does get viewed as mafia it then wastes two days (now) and an outted PR on someone whose play has frankly been subpar.

 

So is it his play or his claim that has you up in arms?  If I remember correctly, you were after him before he claimed.  I can't think of slip he's made except maybe the one Wombat called, or, at least, I missed it if one occurred.

I can't help but notice a lot of your case is kinda thin.  You accuse me of a hardcore defense when all I see is reasonable questioning, especially when Darthe was so focused on DPR's lynch.  I can't deny the fact that I was leaning on DPR being town - he fooled me.

 

If you honestly think both Yates and I are scum because we believed DPR, then that's a foolish move.  Two scum join to to defend a teammate in a very vocal way....I doubt it.

My main reason for voting you, wich you should know by now, is that you posted a lot day 2 but rarely mentioned any players at all. You hid behind a lot of posts. Your vote was on Hallia all day and you mentioned her twice, the second time because someone asked you why you voted her. You never mentioned DPR, wich is very weird considering he was one of the main trains. You didn´t comment on any other for that matter. You continued the same yesterday. You are a great player, and yet I have seen no scumhunting from you.

GF because I have no idea where he stands. He's got it for Yates right now, which is fine, but I feel like he's running interference by saying weird things and distracting.

 

And Tina is tunneling me. Makes me think you read into something I must have said and want me out of the game. Also, omgus!
