Now BG tries misrepresenting as well, this is the most fun I've had with this game thusfar.

Big words. What am I misrepresenting?

Posted

GF, I am glad that you are having fun here. That is why anyone wants to play mafia. Having fun is what's it's all about. Otherwise, why play the game? By looking at the votes for today, I am seeing a little bit of pressure spread out around. Well, Lets see if my vote on someone who I think has been scummy does anything useful.

VOTE GF

Bg: That I'd be somehow inflamed. I am as cool as a cucumber. It is essential I take part now, considering yesterday's votes and night talk, so logical, too. If this effort isn't successful, what I've said this far, I'm not sure there's a point to going on talking, though. But I don't think the rest of town can be so foolish as to vote me off like this, now.

Perhaps someone will consider a proper voting candidate yet, I think I have contributed quite a lot today. Those who are better and more experienced should see things better than I, and it is never good if the one talking tries to think as well. (This really does not help anything, but I'm starting to become curious whether I'd actually be lynched now if I didn't say another word.)

BG, yesterday my focus was on Chuckles. Clearly, those of us who voted against Chuckles were wrong against him. Previously, I had been thinking, (but not posting) that maybe GF was scummy also because of very little activity beyond making simple votes. He was the second person to vote for AJ after I started AJ's lynch train. No reason was given for GF's vote, and to me a vote without any reasoning always ought to be considered to be suspicious.

I think your play really is looking for someone to lynch rather than finding scum. As for my play, some real mental gymnastics is needed if one thinks I've been driving any lynch: I did not participate in the first one, the second I did once it was clear Chuckles had to be lynched whether scum or not because of the case and it was a matter of time, and here I have done nothing to lynch anyone though I'm hesitating to think of you as scum. Andrej I voted to add screws to that, in a somewhat unusual way, guaranteed to bring attention. I don't know what exactly should constitute scummy, but I fail to see how I could be scum. Thankfully I'm not particularly skilled at mafia, so I can play this way without being nightkilled. I'd be lynched eventually, anyone who raises their head usually is, and it is fine when info comes with it. I hope you're scum so this was worth it, now I unscrew the tension, but you surely must be.

I actually like this post and find it to be a pretty good defense. GF you're correct in regards that it would take a lot to say you have personally led a lynch train. That, however, is exactly the point. The way you have played thus far this game is the reason you are sitting at L-1 so quickly. (Which in itself makes me hesitant) You haven't led any trains, but your random placement of votes without explanation is what comes across as suspicious.

Something I would like to consider was Tina's linking at the end of yesterday. First with myself and Chuckles, and then saying she would turn to you IF Chuckles flipped Town. We all know now that he did and based on her set up to make you the victim of today makes me think perhaps you are town after all and she instead is mafia. I'll hold off on hammering until the other players have a chance to check in and add their input. I'm about to be off work so I won't be back until this evening (which is morning for most of the other players).

@Vam - Fair enough response.

@GF - I suppose inflamed was the wrong word. More like excited. You've posted more thoughts and been more talkative than the rest of the game combined it seems.

@AJ - GF is at L-2, not 1 (and sorry for misspelling your name earlier).

Wayyy to early for me... ugh.

I see the comments based on GFs play, but I'm not entirely convinced. I'm gonna go lie down and sleep a couple more hours, and when I ge back later I'm gonna reread and see what I can find.

I don´t like GF´s posts. That list is based on what? Feelings of other´s posts? Maybe you could quote some posts to show us more concrete what makes you get those feelings?

I also don´t like Vam´s post. He voted Andrej, then moved his vote to Chuckles but he also thought (silently) that GF was scummy. So was basically open for voting anyone who had a train yesterday. I sense some bussing here.

We had three trains yesterday - your, GF´s and Chuckles. You think all of them were town?

Unvote.

Maybe I shouldn´t put him at L-1 before people have the chance to check in this day. Interested in NotBob´s and CS´s thoughts.

Posts from yesterday:

yea, vote andrej

No reason for this vote.

I want to see if I can bait you into revealing yourself as mafia.

What? I was too focused on Chuckles to really think about this comment.

Now that, Tina, is a case I can get behind.

Vote Chuckles

NotBob and GF would be the worlds stupidest mafias for stumbling onto Vam's "case".

Why would they be the worlds stupidest mafias for doing that?

Now that, Tina, is a case I can get behind.

Vote Chuckles

NotBob and GF would be the worlds stupidest mafias for stumbling onto Vam's "case".

I like Tina's case as well.

Vote Chuckles

Second vote with no reason.

My vote on AJ brought out some results which were not totally unexpected. The reasons for my vote on AJ were because he was in the middle of a lynch train and I also desired to gauge the reactions of people to my vote. I still suspect that AJ could possibly be mafia, but now I have a stronger FOS towards Tina and Chuckles than I do for AJ.

UNVOTE

Both Tina and Chuckles have been quoting each other and trying to sway the voters. Tina's posts about Chuckles have been more persuasive to me than was Chuckles' posts in this thread.

VOTE Chuckles

What kind of reactions were you waiting for? Did you get them? So now it´s either me or Chuckles. Great, since both of us are town.

Well fishing is fishing, unvote vote chuckles.

Again, what? New vote without any reason.

can someone just hammer me, im bored

sure unvote vote Chuckles

Again, no reason.

I believe GF and Vam is mafia. Don´t know about the third one.

Sorry guys my tooth (well, my ex-tooth) still hurts too much and I can't really concentrate today. I'l have a better day tomorrow (supposed to be working too) and I'll catch up.

For now I can only give you some impressions for today.

I feel that the lynch of Chuckles was right. Tina, you pointed out that I voted him for no reason, but that's not true. The post I quoted with my vote is almost policy-lynch material.

... and what a stupid thing that he can't read the rules. First I found Peace's decision harsh, but then I realized that I can agree with him, rules are rules, the first thing you do is read them. Especially important to keep in mind in a basic game.

The night turned out very well, the scum team must be furious for hitting the survivor. If anyone else died tonight, we'd be at LyLo now.

I don't like the speed of GF's train forming. Especially not on D3 with zero scum dead.

There were quite a few things that I disliked, for example Tsuki's comparison on the two vote lists. I suppose some information can be gained from the trains (and how they formed), but pointing out the players who were on both lists is foolish.

Posted

Foolish, perhaps, but some people like looking at peoples votes *shrugs*. I made no comments, although it definitely hints at things that Tina put forth in her votes WoT above.

Both NB and Vam were on both trains, both voted with little or no explanation and offer thin posts. Vam comes in, claims he thought GF scummy yesterday, but failed to make a case, follow MY vote for GF, and still voted for Chuckles.

UNVOTE Let's keep GF out of bussing range, as well. I wanna see some posts from NB and Vam.

Not necessarily. I know that I am town, and Chuckles proved so with his coroner report. GF could be mafia, but so could you. So could anyone. I wanted to present something else for us to consider given the end of yesterday's events especially with how quickly GF was gaining votes at the start of today. My suspicion of you is mostly circumstantial, I admit, but given that we haven't landed scum yet I am trying to look at things from every perspective.

Right now I am most suspicious of Tina, Vam, Tsuki and NB (who remains silent)

Thoughts:

Hard to get excited at our current prospects.  Not confident in my initial game play.  I'll try to slow down the thought process.

Don't like GFs play throughout.

Vam's hammer of _Cloud very scummy in hindsight.

Two players I suspect are town are Tsuki and Csarmi.

Two players whose alignment I would like to know are Tina and/or Andre.

Questions I'd like to know the answers:

@ BG, what information did you expect from _Cloud's death?

@ Mish, why would GF and I be stupid as mafia to jump on the Andre lynch?

@ BG, why do you suspect Csarmi?

This is all I got for now.  If anyone needs me to look back for the quotes that prompted my thoughts I can do that, may not be until later tonight.

What's on everyone else's mind?

Please let me know if I can address any specific question.
