I suppose it is time to declaim dramatically that there must be mafia among those who voted Cloud.

 

your pinging me this game, all your posts have these weird feel about them, almost like you're being super sarcastic

Play had resumed for a couple of hours after Cloud busted out.  Everyone took Clouds lesson and the game got ultra tight.  Very few risks were taken.  This basically resulted in the blinds being pushed around the table.  After a couple of hours of this a break was called and everyone got up from the table to refills drinks use the bathroom and stretch their legs.

 

15 minutes later everyone made their way back to their seats.  Hallia was the last to show up.  As she got to the table she suddenly tripped and crashed to the floor.  As the dealer was helping her up he noticed 2 cards lying on the floor next to her.  He picked them up and showed them to floor manager.

 

Two queens.  The floor manager gave Hallia one look and then nodded to security.  Two men came up behind her and grabbed one arm each.  The floor manager removed her chips from the table as she was led out. 

 

You could hear her protesting all the the to the back office, "Those weren't mine! I've been set up!  I'VE BEEN SET UP!."

 

The dealer sat down, adjusted the blinds to accommodate the missing player and started to deal.

 

Later, those at the table would find out the truth that Hallia, regular poker player (vanilla town) had been set up.

 

 

 

It is now day 2.  You have until 4:00 PM Wednesday MDT to secure a lynch.  (This is slightly less than 72 hours but it fits my schedule.)

Where is it typical for mafia to try to put their votes on a lynch train to keep that train moving along? 

 

I believe that answer is somewhere in the middle of the train. Therefore, after looking at Andrej, Hallia, and Tina, I am left with the options of either Andrej or Tina at this time.

Woah woah woah. That was an extremely opportunistic vote Vam. There's a lot of mafia theories who sound pretty, but doesn't always work out in practise. I've been mafia enough to know that mafia can be anywhere on a train, especially a D1 train where everyone is mostly just looking to get someone lynched and get the game started. It might be the mafia are all the first votes, or not even on that train at all. Cloud basically begged to get lynched yesterday; So that vote you put on Andrej is extremely thin.

I agree that Vam's vote was very oppurtunistic and you're right that the maffia can be anywhere on a D1 train.

I don't think that Cloud begged to get lynched yesterday, however. Actually, I don't understand why he got so many votes. It's quite possible that the maffia helped to get that train moving and Vam is right that it's a good idea to look at the middle of the train.

 

We just shouldn't get too focused.

Vambram seems to be doing a lot of *thinking* and not a lot of explaining. Same with yesterday's Cloud vote. His posts look substantial because there are a lot of words but basically amount to nothing more than simply placing a vote without justification. The recent one references Andraj's position and nothing else. Why Andraj over Tina then Vam?

Not a bad thought in all. Lynch trains always need to be examined although there was plenty of time for Cloud's train to stall. I don't know why you decided to look just at the middle voters. I'm also curious as to why you chose me over Tina though?
