You guys should be killing Nolder.  So we can actually kill someone.

A thought: If we started with 0 then day 1 information is useless.  Regardless of what we started with we are looking for a needle in a haystack if our effort is to specifically find the first ghost rather than any ghost.  Thus, past information is practically irrelevant in this game.  I think, using this logic, that we should only focus within a single day, the exception being when a player wants to note a change in playstyle between one day and the next which could indicate a sudden change of alignment.

Thoughts?

Seems reasonable.

It's a very big "if" in my opinion. There must be a recruiter.

It could be that the recruiter is not a "possessed" but is perhaps one of us? Like a summoner or medium or whatever and therefore they don't count towards the number of possessed.

As for objects, I think Ithi is the first person that should be checked. If she is not possessed then we can trust her for a while. i also think that people should say what object they have had and what the result if any they had. Why - because we need as much information as possible. Then we can pick through and hopefully help us to Identify any possessed.

She stepped lightly across the dust-covered floor boards. It was plain that none of the other investigators had been in this section of the attic yet - a somewhat hidden storage room that would be easy to miss if someone wasn't paying attention.

Lily smiled. She always payed attention.

She moved the temperature sensor across the room in a slow arc and was surprised as the digital readout reduced dramatically in one section of the room. She moved the sensor back and forth to confirm the results, and the variance was the same each time, always near freezing.

The door slammed behind her, and Lily spun, facing a person she knew, and yet was near unrecognizable at the same time.

The figure reached out with freezing cold fingers and in shock, Lily was unable to move. A cold fire burned in the eyes that stared her down, transfixing her, and the icy figers wrapped around her throat.

By the time it came, Lily's scream was quite muffled. Her body slumped to the floor, dead.

LILY, TOWN, IS DEAD.

I don't think both possesions happened at the end phase, I'm pretty sure one happened almost immediately after the scene

So now you want us to start lynching townies? Can we kill this turkey yet?

Terrible idea, as now that would let the mafia know what kind of items there are and what to expect people should stop suggesting this

Obviously a recruiter wouldn't be town. For flavor purposes they wouldn't be possessed though would they?

@ EP, then how are we going to gather information, because we don't have much. Although I can see that they could claim objects and cause confusion, but it maybe a way of catching them out

Now it looks like Lily was killed by a ghost, I'm doubting Turin was.

With 31 players, it takes 16 to lynch.

@ Nol. yes they would be possessed, but the head Ghostie I would expect.

Wow.... do you always muddle the shit out of the games? Seems to be an ongoing theme for you this one.

Ah the recruiter being a ghost? That could technically fit in with flavor as well.

My point was that it's possible there is a recruiter role that does not count towards the "possessed" but is still a scum we need to lynch or kill.

I think my list as of now is Nolderp, Talya, Tina, of the people actually contributing.

Can someone sum up the case on Rand, I was on him on D1, but it seems the reason he's being run up today is different? I don't really trust any reads I have from D1, because I can't remember if I formed those thoughts before or after the mod scenes. Too lazy, and not enough of a sure-thing, to waste time going back and trying to retrace my thinking.

That is not why at all, is it custumary to tell the mafia what kind of abilities to watch out for? When I learned to play it was not (except for the mistborn game Locke did everyone knew all the possible powers however I didn't learn much that game so irrelevant)

Unvote

Vote Vam

Nearly 50 pages in and several contentious arguments to choose from and you wont take a stand on ANY?

That's scum behavior pure and simple.

I feel like you just dumped a bunch of gasoline on the fire with this vote on him. Serves your interests though, given the heat you've been catching.

Wombat wasn't picking up a train so I decided to switch my vote.

So rather stick with Wombat, who I presume you had a case on? You chose to shift your vote to Vambram because that's where the momentum was. I know, I saw.

A couple post ago you agreed we need to get someone over 10+ votes.  Kinda what the kid did.  I like Vabram for a recruit.  His showing up and posting the not sure what is going on thing feels like he got some news and wanted to ease into the game without drawing much attention.  Like a "Golly gee" post.  Yet, I have never played with him, so Im not sure if thats what he nusually does.  People mentioned it. But from  non Meta perspective he is a pretty good place for a vote.

100% agreed.  Why I like Vabram for a recruit.  Not sure I noticed a change in Nolder, just kinda Nolder.  But Vibram seemed to come out this day to show he;s playing but to not step on toes.

Actually this would be different if some are one shot, then yes they should tell us what they did. As the objects can move around then knowing what an object does is not so important than in a game where they have roles. It's the person who has it. And they should say anything until they have done what they have etc. Ithi's is different she claimed because she was on the lynch path.

Also we have now had two kills. If there is an object that has a killing power, is it a one off then moved on or does it stay with one play for a while like Ithi's. If it stays, it might suggest that whoever had the object yesterday may still have it today and got recruited over the hour...hence the difference in the scenes, one definitely killed by a ghost. It could be that the object moved this hour to someone else and they were a ghost.
