I used the FLIR camera to check if Eternal Phoenix is a ghost or not. I started this game out as a Vanilla, and I got the item at the start of 09:00. It was an one-shot ability/item and I was told that it will expire at 10:00 or when a lynch is achieved.

Can someone give me a quick explanation of what all the hoo hah about Rand being mafia is? I was kind of fixated on EP at the time so mostly ignored it and now I can't really go back.

 

It is interesting that he was the Lynch leader at the end of the previous hour and then it faded for a while and switched to someone else completely. People must have had reasons for voting him and surely those reasons didn't just melt away because the hour turned?

 

Wombat has a pretty good case on him to be honest. However, I voted him because he claimed to get overly defensive for a confirmed townie, except at the point when he overly defended me I was not a confirmed townie

 

Tina - valid they could be juzt put a few ideas dowm and they were the first to come to mind

except that if you read what she said about her claimed item she can protect herself at the same time she protects others. An easy way to confirm she isnt the recruiter is a FLIR view though, so if by some chance we do get more FLIR views Rand Nolder and Ithi would be 3 good options, Ithi because it would be good to know we have atleast 1 townie we can trust going into a new phase. Rand and Nolder obvious reasoning is obvious

Hmmm this is logically unsound, every individual that is in the game had the same chance of being picked if it was random, while you are correct that any casing prior to the scene is wortheless, it does not mean that those cased are any more innocent now. I'd say the possesion happened at the same time as the scene or within minutes.

1) I said that all the back and forth from before possession was not going to be helpful for scum hunting.  I never said anything remotely close to what you're insinuating; that all players can be trusted to be town forever.

 

2) Wombat insinuated that I made a post somewhere acting like I knew how possession works.  I never did, I just pointed out the timeline of the game.

 

3) These are two different things.  There is a huge difference between when the mod made scenes or how possession works.

A thought: If we started with 0 then day 1 information is useless.  Regardless of what we started with we are looking for a needle in a haystack if our effort is to specifically find the first ghost rather than any ghost.  Thus, past information is practically irrelevant in this game.  I think, using this logic, that we should only focus within a single day, the exception being when a player wants to note a change in playstyle between one day and the next which could indicate a sudden change of alignment.

When did the first possessed come into being again?

 

We know it happened in the first hour. I'm guessing that they would have been possessed and they would have then been given the chance to recruit, once per hour. hence two at the end of hour 1. 

 

As for Ithi, she mentioned she had an object in hour one. If someone was recruiting it would be a good person to recruit...the item could be useful to the possessed team. Ithi revealed the item and what it did in hour two. If she had been turned she could have added that bit, because it makes her look like she is town for a few days. I'm not saying that she has been recruited, because if she hasn't her object is very useful to town. But I don't blindly believe it all neither as some of you seem to be.

Holy smokes! I had no idea this game had started! My computer and phone are down and out so I've been using my boyfriends phone. I have missed a lot ...
