soo umm this is what I think and the questions I got. This game is tricky because there is so much meta things to consider since most of you seemed to have played together before. Not entirely happy with that situation but hey, what can you do?

NS = Non-Serious

TG - votes Basel. (I should have written posts numbers down for this lol) and than votes Darthe(why I'm not sure, and not sure it matters) As your vote for Darthe seems like a "grudge" vote. "He votes me so I'm going to vote him" so I'm not sure if this is enough to vote you, but you're definitely getting a FoS. Both of these votes don't seem to work in my mind. This may be a ploy to divide. One flips as mafia, the other is safe as "town".

Good post for the most part, though you did get the order of events wrong for my case:

1) My Basel vote was NS (commonly called RVS for random vote stage, it was post #20).

2) I voted Darthe first (post #118).  Then he voted me back (post #141).  When you vote someone just because they voted you it is called OMGUS (Oh My God You Suck) and is generally considered scumtastic.  I left my vote on Darthe because of his scummy OMGUS.

OMGUS isn't scumtastic.  Just horrible play.  Big difference.  I've seen way more town players pull and OMGUS than scum.  Scum usually know better.

That's twice now that you've linked Cloud with Peace. Do you see a potential play? Or Cloud piggybacking to look Town?

I'm much more interested in all the players that are linking others together. Linking two players together without the benefit of a coroner report to back up your assertions is scummy. So who's been doing it?

Tina-links Tress and I together.

Hobbit-links Peace and Cloud together

TG-links Darthe and Cloud together.

I'm smelling a scum team trying to frame Cloud. Who, I might add, is one of the few players to actually at least attempt to build a well-thought out case before casting a vote. There were many others on Tina's train that voted with little to no reasons.

I'm suspicious of Hobbit mainly at this point, with TG a close second.

I went and had luncheon, and grocery shoppin'. :D  I'm back!  It just seemed off to me, and yes, he was one of the few with a reason.  His reason just caught my attention.

In response to my questions and observations, all Hallia has to say is Cloud just caught her attention and seemed off to her. Nothing at all about a potential scum play or my points about linking players. Seems to be dodging direct questions and fairly lurky. Also freely admits that Cloud provided reasons for his vote, unlike most on Tina's train. Yet keeps her vote there.

Ze plot thickens, no?

So basically what you're telling me is that you're voting for him because he voted for you?

I disagree...at least somewhat. Scum (especially new scum) often have a hard time not overreacting to pressure because they know their team is smaller and a lynch is huge for them.  Seasoned scum suppress the overreaction but sometimes it still slips through.  To me an OMGUS is either a scum overreaction or a newbie player really excited about their first few games.

Either way though, an OMGUS is not town play.

Just the opposite.  He voted me because I voted him.  After he voted me it just gave me all the more reason to not unvote him and leave my vote where it is.  It's not because he voted me, it's because he made what I think is an anti-town play.  If he had OMGUS voted someone else besides me I would have still found that scummy.

Eh, I left it there for the time being until I can find a suitable person to put it on, didn't seem like he was anywhere close to having a train.  Now if I planned on logging, I would remove it.  I don't see a potential play, but it did seem like he could easily be piggybacking.

*sigh* it's like you didn't read my post at all. I got that you voted for him first. And I got that you left your vote on him because he voted you. As you now explained it as an OMGUS vote from him that makes him look scummy. I asked twice, to ensure answers would stay the same. Which they have, though I'm not sure they sit right with me yet. I still want to hear Darthe's side to this as well.

I read your post and I understand you are driving at the fact that I haven't unvoted him, but I did not leave my vote on him because he voted me.  I left my vote on him because I found his play scummy.  Had he OMGUS voted anybody else in the game I would have had cause to vote him.

Er, yes, this part.  Lol

And hello Kira, glad you decided to come play tonight

Interesting post you made with your take on the game thus far. It seems now you were poking at TG intentionally to get a reaction, so does that change your opinion about him or Darthe based on how they each voted each other?

sometimes a little prodding is needed to see if the flow is consistent... it's like pouring cake in the pan... can't have lumps...

TG seems clean with his reaction. But I'm interested to see how he reacts to Darthe's post in response to mine. Provided Darthe provides one.

See now we're getting some interesting action.

Unvote. Vote Tina.  I'm finding this to be weak. Tress always joke votes Ishy to start off, so this is a null tell. For you to use it in your case is reaching hard, and I don't see why you're calling attention to it.

Interesting that Tress tie herself to Ishy that way. First the friendly "joke vote" and then she leaves his train that was the largest at the moment and move her vote to me (without a real reason) and make my train the largest.

This reasoning pinged as an excuse for the 4th vote on Tina's train.  For all anyone knows, Tina's observation was valid.  Of course, as Ishy has already pointed out, we always joke vote one another, and my reason for leaving Ishy's train was that I'd already decided to move my vote to Tina to help continue stirring things up, as there wasn't a lot to comment on.

I full expected some suspicion from that move.  Heck, I expected a vote or two for it.  Basel defending me as such, even mildly, draws an FOS.

I'd also like to see a response from Darthe on the subject.

I haven't seen him elsewhere on DM, so I think he's genuinely busy at the moment. Might be a little burnt out on Mafia too... I think he's been having a bit of a rough streak lately.

I see that I am popular again.

It is so amusing to watch all of the flightiness that can come from changing the beginning of a sentence from "I think that this person is..." to "This person is..."

@Kira, a valid question.  The answer is that regardless of how many games I am playing at once I never record anything on my laptop as I simply get too tired of typing from my schooldays.  Thus, reads are in my head and are generally listed in order of who sticks out to me most and why.  And so we see more content at the beginnings of my posts than at the ends.

@TG, learn the definition of OMGUS please, it would require me to not have reason for voting you (which I did and do).

Were there other questions?  The one above me seems to reference more but I can't decide if the above two responses adequately cover it or no.

Oh, @Tina: my apologies, I have a bad tendency of coming across as a Bean, condescending unintentionally.  I am not trying to, it just didn't strike me as something that you would have much town motivation for.  I understand it, sometimes I do erratic things just to test the waters on a new idea, but still it seemed odd.
