Was that a sentence?  And how can you validly call yourself and another player "some of the most pro-town players"?

 

Anyone who says that about themselves should be strung up on principle, but by all means I will do the next five pages and debunk this crap.  I'm doing these completely independently, not looking for those that I am biased towards from the pages before, to see how the game shifts.  Afterwards I will correlate my reads.

Strung up on principle. Again, weak lol. Our play dictates how people view us, and TG comes off town to me. And obviously I know my alignment. I'm quite content to keep my vote on you. It's an easy day just to fly under the radar but I won't allow you. I will be waiting for this 'debunking' although I doubt we'll see it. Hmm, I almost thought for a second that I should have voted Tina, because of the self vote taking so long to switch over. But now that it has, I can honestly say I'm still trying to figure out who to vote for. Though I do wonder about why I shouldn't still vote for Tina. I've never played with you guys so it's going to take me some time to figure out your patterns. 

This is Tina's normal MO, she always tries to get the game jump started quickly. Her third vote is a null tell.

You can vote her though, getting some pressure on people is always a good thing.

 

I am fascinated that Ishy won't vote, himself, but he pushes for a newer player to do so shortly after.  This isn't sitting well with me.

Cool, This has been pretty lighthearted so far. 

 

I like that, keeps things easy when they should be.

 

Tina is a bit erratic this game I notice, either she is becoming to comfy as mafia (considering she has been twice recently and it had been over a year before that) and slipping up or she genuinely just doesn't care.  Either way it pretty much confirms her as vanilla, which isn't a grand town play.  

 

Basel is being neutral.  However, since basel stinks as mafia it is safe to assume that means he is town    Not kidding though, I have a town read on him.

 

Peace is null so far, surprisingly hasn't doen anything to put himself out there yet.  

 

Ishy is being fun, but also investing himself in the game.  He is town.

 

Mish ).) You break my heart.

 

Tglems sticks out to me as forced.  Thus, Vote Tglems.

 

Cloud seems town enough.

 

Tress isn't doing much, I say give her a day to wind up.

I find my reads here to be similar to what they have become with the distinction of AJ's differences and some lost trust in Ishy and I would like to hear more from cloud and Tress in the latter parts of the game.  At the time it was fine but after 10 more pages not so much.

 

Interesting that Tress tie herself to Ishy that way. First the friendly "joke vote" and then she leaves his train that was the largest at the moment and move her vote to me (without a real reason) and make my train the largest. 

 

Pretty much what I noted.  Reaction test, poor votes, ???, profit.

This game is very quiet, I expected more with the list of experienced players.

 

I find Darthe's vote on TG a bit interesting though, and vice versa. Tina appears to like stirring the pot and thus has garnered 4 votes from it. Not a big fan of how Darthe claims Tina is 'confirmed' vanilla based on her play though.

 

I can't really comment on Basel's reason for voting Tina as this is only my second game and I can't claim to know anyone's meta.

 

I'd like some others to come in and contribute more, we've basically got nothing from about a third of the players.

Most of these people had posted on the page he asked for them in and Mish had been pretty active to this point, leading me to think he pulled the names that were convenient to pick at a bit.

 

He doesn't know it for fact..just states its like fact.  I take as his leanings if he is town and wifom if he flips scum.

Ishy, here is Tress´ reason to vote me. I try to kick-start the game and thus people will get a town read on me. That isn´t really a reason to vote me. What I guess is that Tress thinks I´m scum hiding behind a usual town play. 

 

I´m actually using the same logic against her. Her joke vote could mean nothing, or it could be a way to tie herself to you. When she unvotes you and vote me and thereby switch the vote majority from you to me, then she is definitely linking herself to you. See, all of this is about Tress, not about you, but it´s interesting that you felt the need to defend her play.

Cloud gave a series of reasons on page 9 for this vote (http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/80192-basic-veggietales-mafia/?p=2827091) But those reasons were: She is to advanced to act differently when mafia than she does when town (which is complete and utter BS), her self vote created apparently incomprehensible WIFOM (Wut?), and she apparently reads as forced because of her game starting attempts (duh).

 

Did Darthe really just OMGUS me?  Huh, I voted you on weak reasoning to draw you out but then you OMGUS'd so I'll leave my vote where it is.  

 

I am still fascinated by this one.  You voted a player who hadn't spoken but twice to draw them out and then when they vote you for what *you* call weak reasoning (and as I said false play) you get upset by it, call it OMGUS (Which is voting without a reason/ didn't happen) and say that validates your vote?  No part of this post is genuine or town motivated.

Just wondering Hal, why Cloud specifically? There are others on Tina's train too. At least Cloud seemed to put some thought into his case, while numerous others just jumped on with little to no other reasoning. Is it just his placement on the train as fifth vote?

 

This is in response to hally voting cloud for his odd behaviors above.  Once more it is defense of that little group, now Kae, Ishy, and Cloud are decently linked but that doesn't seem to fit.  Ishy is back and forth, Cloud doesn't match his group in play (though he does in intentions) and Kae has been mostly gone.

 

 

Did anyone else notice that both Cloud and Darthe used the exact same term "forced" in their casings?  Darthe, are you coaching on your QT?

 

This post still makes my head hurt to read but I'll try to explain this.  When someone uses their self claimed BS vote as validation for pushing a lynch and then proceeds to attempt and heavy link two players by use of the same word in the English language, the result is a mess.  Specifically the above mess, where TG reads as silly rather than legitimate.  I can't imagine what the point here was but he still has me annoyed and pushing at him from things of this nature.

 

I'm much more interested in all the players that are linking others together. Linking two players together without the benefit of a coroner report to back up your assertions is scummy. So who's been doing it?

I'm smelling a scum team trying to frame Cloud. Who, I might add, is one of the few players to actually at least attempt to build a well-thought out case before casting a vote. There were many others on Tina's train that voted with little to no reasons.

I'm suspicious of Hobbit mainly at this point, with TG a close second.

I'm reading her as more of a misguided townie, keeping in mind that she is inexperienced. For now, I'm more comfortable keeping my vote on Tina.

I can't speak for anyone other than me, but I would only say that I'm definitely not sticking up for Tina, far from it. Rather questioning those that are voting for her. You must admit, five votes out of seven in the space of a day is awfully suspicious. There has to be at least one, maybe more mafia on a train that builds that fast. So I decided that instead of analyzing "vote placement", ie, who voted where, that I'd analyze reasons for placing said votes instead.

What exactly are you looking for?  I think TG is scum and his plays aren't just weak but illogical.  Feel free to follow him, people can string you up after he flips.  I won't even have to be here, as I am sure that we will see a retributional NK.  I do not know if you actually read that post by the way, but it wasn't "on principle", it was on you calling yourself pro-town.  

 

If you wanted to fake it you should have simply called yourself town.  That is what the principle of the matter is.  You are too new to know how to properly doctor your sentences and you're linking too hard on something your teammate can't let go of now because he wants you to protect him.

It looks like I have found a sort-of fix, at least a work-around, to my posting problems, so my activity will step up drastically from this point. Just re-read the thread to refresh everything. I won't deny I skimmed a bit of what was happening the days when I couldn't post.

 

Tress: you wanted to know why I voted you/what I agreed with in Ishy's case. I have a feel of distancing between you and Tina, you tried to cast suspicion on someone we now know is town, and cop at that, and I also have a gut feel.

 

I'm also feeling a bit iffy about Cloud, AJ and TG, town read on Darthe, Ishy and Peace, I'd like to see/hear more from Kira (don't be intimiated by the fact that we've all played together for a while, new players are always wanted!).
