I've already claimed my character.  I hesitate to mass claim because it starts a trend on DM and then mods have to make special rules to combat it.  Mass claiming should not be a scum hunting tactic.  It's cheap.

I've already claimed my character.  I hesitate to mass claim because it starts a trend on DM and then mods have to make special rules to combat it.  Mass claiming should not be a scum hunting tactic.  It's cheap.

 

Mods on DM can deal. If they're going to give character names to people, they have to live with the consequences.

No what you said was "wait until night so Talya can talk freely". That implies waiting until night to do something about it. If you're going to try and get a point across then say what you mean instead of giving half statements and leaving massive amount of room for assumption. Post what you mean or don't post.

It's the easy way to win and it sucks. Having said that, I'm game if people are going to go through with it. Not doing so is obviously just going to get me lynched. I love games where great knowledge of the source material is required but in the future I don't think I'm going to be playing as many games that allow for this kind of jazz.

If you read the rest of the post, you'll see I said "anything about it" which in context refers to the possible vote control.  Which is why I want to leave vote control out of it.   Everytime we mass claim I kind of feel bad, because I feel like it cheapens the game.  Personal feelings at least.

I was speaking about games in general, not specifically about this game. Remember BG's Super Smash Bro's game? That was great fun but once people started to quote the entirety of their pm is went to hell.. poor mafs.

Yeah, that was a bit messed up. I've been considering my next game not allowing mass reveals, or at least not till a certain day.
