Right here is the difference between playstyles.

 

You have chosen to quote a whole load of jazz and pass it off as a reasonable case cause it's nice and long and you feel like you've added something.

Ishy posts ABOUT the game but doesn't quote that sh*t. It doesn't stop it from being game-related and it doesn't stop it being useful. Nor does it stop it from being useless. But analyze the damn detail before you make a completely crap case.

Even if you don't agree with my post it is still useful and content filled.   The detail, as you chose to ignore, is that multiple people mentioned how a typical mafia play is to say, "go ahead and lynch me" in order to gain town cred.  Sure enough, a couple posts later Ishy posts "go ahead and lynch me."  It was a scum post by Ishy and I find it interesting that you chose to ignore it.

No. It wasn't a scum post. In every game I've played there's always been someone who says "go ahead and lynch me." It's not a scum tell in the least. It'll probably get said a few more times in this game especially as we get closer to the end.

 

The timing of his post followed coupled with the emotional response AND the couple posts just before make it scum.  If you don't see it then you don't see it.

A bit on Ishy....

 

his first lot as what I call normal posting for a Day 1...joke vote on Kay, bit of banter..

 

1. Defends hallia as it's her first game

2.then says her team mates will help her 

3. Unvotes kay

4. shocked about cloud mentioning 2 mafia teams

5.Asks Darthe to cut Hallia slack again

6. Says he can't understand why no one has a vote on Darthe

7. someone calls him out for not voting Darthe so does

8.Points out he thinks the Rand train is lazy and that we have plenty of time to vote

9. Tells us not to game the Mod

10. fluff post about it getting interesting and eating popcorn

11. He can't understand why no one has voted Darthe and offers cookies

12. Unvotes and says Nyn would definitely be this and knows for certain Egwene is but that he isn't Egwene...

13. He asks about the No Lynch to Basal

14. On when ask to vote Peace, says that he has been scum hunting and that he has a pro-town feel about him. 

15. Says he will vote if Basal says no, but otherwise if he can will go with a No Lynch and save a townie.

16. To Darthes link for him and Peace, he just says it's part of Darthes poor play.

17. Votes No lynch

18. doesn't want it to go random, so gets people to go no lynch

19. when asked to vote Lenlo, says there aren't enough around to vote for anyone now.

20.during night, says he is processing the new information and that he is big enough to new things and alter his perceptions

21. Speaks about the game setup and about the Warder AS combo, but says they aren't all like that because his character isn't bonded.

22. Mentions about veterans wanting to go for a random lynch.

23. then defends his fluff posts.

 

So that's a little summary, I haven't added all the fluff comments. He does talk about the game, and apart from going for Darthe (and gives no reason) he doesn't point a FOS at anyone, says he gets feeling about town from people. I don't know how he plays, but it would be nice to see who he suspects or why he went for Darthe on Day 1.

Looking back at Peace and RTE's tiff, I think that Peace was being pretty reasonable and that RTE seems to have had a massive chip on his shoulder. Nothing about it is really scummy. It does not seem forced in the least - note the way that RTE snipes at Peace again when Peace self-votes because he thinks that it's against the rules. Scum just wouldn't do that, I don't think.

 

However, certain people were keen to try and make it out that they were scummy simply because they had an argument. It makes me happy to keep my vote on Moon; I also have my eye on Talya, now. Her play throughout this game seems to have been to throw stuff out there in the hope that something will stick, even if a lot of it doesn't make sense. 

 

 

That could be a play between scum.

 

 

I can quite see Brigitte being here. We have (if all claims are true) Thom (linked to Moraine) Elayne, so why not have Brigitte as well...they are bonded. So at the moment I'm wiling to go along with it. There is nothing easy about claiming, how to do it etc..

What caught my attention was Peace and RTE...very odd interaction between them. Not sure about Darthe, don't know him so can't say anything about how he plays. I'll hold off for the moment, but will have to decide as I'm on a different time zone to most of you and it'll be my bedtime. 

 

the only thing about going for Rand or Lenlo is that they are roleless, so we could test them to see if they are telling the truth. 

 

There is no way anyone could know who is in the game and who is not...except the Mod of course.

 

 

I have to vote now, I need to go to bed, I'm shattered. 

 

I don 't particularly want to go for any of the three that revealed, not yet anyway. So it's hard to know what to do. I would quite happily go with a No Lynch, but can't wait for Basal.

The reason; I don't want to go for the other three yet. His banter with RTE really seemed to grate somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if it was mafia and mafia arguing. He jumped about earlier. He didn't like Darthe and in the same breathe voted Wheel, now he's shooting for Darthe again, after someone else got it going again.
