Its also that same episode, that everytime he points out an item he likes of the current girl-friend, turns out, its her room-mates.

I fell in love with this show awhile ago. I'm sad to say that the eighth season has been mostly disappointing so far. It feels like they should have combined seasons seven and eight together. I'll see this through to the end, though.

I have seasons 1-6, and I watched the first 5 in a week the first time through. I haven't been keeping up with the last year, so I'm a season behind though not by choice. I'll have to get season 7....

HIMYM is a sad show underneath all the one liners

It is. It actually deaks with some rwally sad but true life issues. Its basically a show abour rhem all just trying to reach their dreams but slowly having to settle

I'm actually watching it right now.  Not liking this season so much...no real comedy.  I caught up via netflix streaming.  I started watching it during season 6 and my husband fell in love with it.  He likes it more than me.  For some reason Robin drives me insane!!  I want to smack her when she opens her mouth sometimes.  LOL

I'm glad they are making one more season after this. Because we have to meet the mother at the end of this season, which means we will get a season to get to see them dating and how he proposes and stuff. I feel like its a needed pay off

I absolutely agree!  Although I could see them just showing her once in the final episode.  That would be typical HIMYM.  LOL

That's what they were going to do. Jason segal was leaving the show so it was going to be the last season but they are doing another soon now

I didn't realize he was leaving.  I knew they had added another season though.  Is there an actress you would like to see as Ted's wife?  Or would you rather it be a "nobody"?

Yea he said he wanted to quit. The fans got depressed and quintin tarontino said he liked the series a lot

So he bowed to pressure and stayed in for season 9
