Mynd never had a case on me or anyone else. He was the biggest perveyor of cowflop this side of Oklahoma City. If he had any real case he should have just passed it on to Ishy. His problem was with the DM firewall. QT is a different animal. He should have been able to talk there. But Whatever.

 

Why would you assume that BG's viewings would be "messed with"? Very convenient that you get to say he was truthful when he viewed your claimed partner but any other viewings are suspect.  I know for a fact that his viewing of me was correct and I know of only a few things that could explain a false reading on Basel.

 

amazing that it was sooooooooooo dangerous for you guys to claim mason and it is now Day 4 and neither of you have been NKed. Guess it wasn't so difficult after all. Masons almost NEVER get killed immediately after claiming. They more often get killed or lynched before they claim. It is really too bad.

Those last three votes were fast and could be seen as mafia piling on in the guise of voting consolidation. So by all means look at all three of them. JLM defended early then tried to look like she didn't. Mish I believe was mostly defending herself. I don't have any real recollection of Len which is interesting that you choose to name him as your town read.

di dyou not see where i said Mynd computer issues prevented him from getting on at all and none of that D1 stuff was planned between the two of them.  from the looks of it, Ishy was flying by the seat of his pants and just following Mynds lead because he knew he could trust mynd.  contrary to popular opinion, his tactics generally rouse a few scum and when you can trust him you let him do his thing and even help him.  i'd have done the same in ishy's shoes.

re-BG.  its an advance game, i'm not beyond thinking theres a re-director or something in this game to mess with roles.  his clearing of you came after the glaring hint; infact you and Dice combo role fished on BG over it then you backed off "giving him the benefit of the doubt" if memory serves  i'll pull the post later when i continue my read.  and you yourself just pointed out BG had a flase reading on Basel which is news to me but only makes me more firm in my suspicions of a redirector type role targetting him.

I did defend Mish. I felt that the attack on her was personal in nature. In a round about way saying that she and Cloud were cheating, which was incorrect thinking as well as poor form. I recently was in a game where we were masons together. Masoninzing masons. The only reason we tried to stay hidden(which didn't work) was that we could also vet town in our masonizing efforts. If we had been regular masons I would have advocated revealing ASAP. masons value comes from being confirmed townies. Mafia generally do not kill them because it creates confirmed townies that are not the cop or doc. I would say this has been proven once again as even after 3 nights you guys are still alive although a non-descript lurker like Kae was NK'ed.

#145: Mynd was gone with no explanation. You are following the Mynd legend of badassery. He plays the game like everyone else. Sometimes his ideas work and sometimes they don't. When he came back and explained his issues, I let it go. I am not going to refute someone having a RL reason for absence. BG also cam in and gave them a clear reading. so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt. I still have doubts but, no damnig evidence so meh. I am looking elsewhere. I didn't find Mynd to be overbearing on the QT that I shared with him. Maybe he was on his best behavior.

 

#289: I have already addressed my "Wombatting". To try to hold me responsible for Len's actions is worse than anything you say I have done.

 

330 and 351: Recruiting. I believe it exists. If I were the recruiter would I really be out there waving my arms saying "be careful boys and girls, there is recruiting in this game.I'm coming to get you. BOOOOOOOOOO" Do you have a reason to be worried about recruiting? I don't.

Why are you so certain that BG's results are being "messed with" There has been no evidence of it. In fact there is some evidence to the contrary. The mafia is likely 4 members, maybe even less to start if they can recruit. They have already revealed a Day Doc. There is most likely some sort of GF or the equilavent for BG's role. If they have a recruiter, will they also have a switcher or tailor or some other sort of role to change results? Or should I use your line of reasoning and ask are you the switcher so that BG was able to view a townie when he looked at Ishy?

To me Tress AMD Kaylee are separate from cloud. Strictly based on what we see in those not on the hoof lynch. I don't think mafia would all be on a day one lynch.

Yes. I am suspicious of them for NOT BEING ON THE HOOF LYNCH. Mafia is unlikely to put all their votes on one train so early cause it links them through actions. The posts from Tress speak for themselves. Making up stuff on Dice/Ithi. Making a no thought vote on Lenlo who was mafia. This last bit where she unvotes but doesn't vote anyone. Kinda weird.

 

Kayee has followed a bunch this game which is consistent with her play in recent games in which she was mafia. That last vote was a very safe statement. Lynching for info cause you don't think he is mafia either. But another dead townie makes you one step closer to victory.

 Part I: On the Subject of Turin and Recruitment

See I already have my case on you so don't need to make another one over the joke. I find it interesting that Kae got killed last night. An unconfirmed lurker that missed two deadlines. Especially with a claimed flavor coo, doc, sensor and two masons out there. Very odd. Also based on the scene no one else got poisoned last night. I wonder if there was a way to protect against it or they tried it against someone that was immune.

 
I think this post from Turin really nails what's making me feel uneasy. Our nightkills have been very strange. Sakaea was not a factor in this game. On night two, TGlems of all people died. Why not kill JLM, BG, Cloud, Mynd or Ishy? The most obvious answer, as far as I see it, is that things are not as they seem. BG may have been recruited the night after he claimed; Ishy or Mynd are also good targets for a recruiter. BG has also 'confirmed' Turin and Basel, and so they would be good targets, but it would be strange for Turin to keep bringing up the topic of recruitment if he had been himself recruited. 
 
The question is, then, how many people are we facing? I have no knowledge of the flavour, so I don't know if there's likely to be a third party or not. I know from experience, though, that it's not uncommon for there to be a cult in mafia games, and they're the ones who normally recruit. We have no evidence of a cult so far that I've seen - certainly nobody has flipped cult. However, nothing from the mod excludes the possibility, and Turin's hinted that his role has something to do with recruitment. A cult would have started on day one with probably one member, and if so would have by now extended that to four members. A recruiting mafia team is a little bit different, and not something I've come across often, but who knows. 
 
My point is, the possibility of recruitment in the game means that we can't trust any individual claim, unless they've been made by a person who's flipped townie. That's not to say that I'm suggesting that we lynch people as soon as they claim anything, since we wouldn't get anywhere if we did that. The information we had on Day One from people would have been the most reliable, but it's likely that up to three people's alignments have changed since. We have 12 people remaining. It's conceivable that if we lynch one today and the mafia kills one more tonight, we could lose the game today by lynching wrongly. 
 
The consequence of all this is that I'm not trusting claims until the person is confirmed by mod flip. 
 
Part II: On the Subject of Who's Scum
 
The main wagon at the moment is Cloud. I'm starting to like the idea of lynching him to test his alignment, though I'd prefer to lynch somebody that I think is scum, since as stated above we can't afford many more mislynches, if any. I haven't been able to follow the argument for Cloud's being scum, unless it's something to do with him and Mish on day one. Ishy seems to have forgotten about Mish for now, though, so it can't be that. I'd be willing to lynch Cloud for consolidation, but it all feels way too easy. 
 
Ishy wants to lynch me tomorrow, but isn't saying why. That's an extremely convenient play for a mafia or otherwise anti-town person to make, to say the least, and I think that if it weren't for BG's reading (which, according to the above reasoning, I'm ignoring), he would have been called out for it by somebody else. The whole Mish thing is strange, too. 
 
I'm starting to feel suspicious of the Dice/Ithi slot again. Apart from being the initial vote on Lenlo, Ithi actually did nothing to push that lynch. She did succeed in diverting things away from Basel, Cloud, and JLM, although Tress also played a part in that. The way she was twisting the whole guns/teeth thing at the beginning of the day also doesn't sit well with me. Given Dice's play, I'd be willing to vote for her. 
 
Why have we forgotten about Mish? Let's not forget that early in the game she said she'd have no problem voting for Cloud if she thought that he was mafia, even while showing no signs of trying to discern whether or not this was so. I think she's voting for him now, but that could very easily be busing. 

Tress, Red, and Kaylee I have no reads on. Red has made an impressive showing, but I don't think Turin's scum. Tress played an active role in lynching Lenlo, but has otherwise been inactive. Kaylee has mostly stayed in the background. I can't think of anything specifically anti-town or scummy from her...
 
So: unvote, vote: Ithi. It wouldn't surprise me she was on a team that recruited JLM.

You, of all people, know exactly why Kae and TGlens were NK'd Panda. Precisely because they WERE lurky and inactive. Killing someone like that is of great benefit to scum, and none whatsoever to Town due to the lack of information left after the kill. They cased no one, except maybe Mynd, so there's no one to tie them to. There's no history of back and forth with them to draw a bead on anyone looking to protect themselves from their casing or accusations. To feign ignorance of why it's ALWAYS a good idea for scum to lynch stragglers is disingenous and just further cements my conclusion that you're Mafia.

No, Ishy. You're right when you say that killing lurkers gives the town almost no information from the night kills, but in this case this benefit to the mafia is balanced by the benefit to the town from 'confirmed' players remaining alive. It boggles the mind, really.

JLM was recruited? Why would you say that? Wasn't JLM replaced by Smiley ... why do you think JLM was recruited @ Panda. Also I think that JLM claimed Doc and I don't think that Darthe would let our Doc be recruited by the Mafia. The Doc is probably some kind of priest or something. But maybe I'm wrong, this whole game still feels very weird so maybe loads of you have already been bitten and converted. I don't think there are any confirmed Town in this game because it's vampires and stuff.

 

With regards to the teeth vs guns thing, Panda does seem to be very much echoing what Tress already said about me. I could just say that I already explained that blah blah blah, but I can't actually see post one anymore and was more interested in reading through the games than reading the rules, which are usually quite generic. I didn't even see that the various roles were given there.

 

I am interested as to why Tress only unvoted and did not then vote Cloud - am also wondering why Red is not backing up her alleged Mason Buddy on the Cloud vote. Is he at L-1 now?
