Good game town. As to why I didn't reveal I figured that as vanilla town it wouldn't make a difference in the lynch with deadline as close as it was. I was hoping that more information could be gathered just by looking at who was involved in my lynch without me muddying the waters with a claim. Also, I don't really like claiming :-)

Ok so here is my long awaited explanation that Mish kept bugging me about :P

 

I entered the game as a Town Watcher. I didn't manage to catch up with everything but I knew what was going on during the last few pages. I read that Mish kept getting roleblocked so I saw it as my duty to figure out who the Roleblocker was by Watching Mish. That Night however I got no results because the Roleblocker got Night Killed. The next day Mish soon made a case against me where she claimed that I was a SK. She had a great case and I would have almost started doubting myself if I didn't knew better. I found it funny that she left me with so little room to manoeuvre so I made a small joke about breathing fire. I hoped it would get some reactions from the real Smaug but I didn't know that it was Kae and she kept silent. I did say that I would catch the remaining Mafia/ Smaug and I would have, but things didn't run the way I expected them to. Kae Night Killed Dap instead of Mish. I wasn't expecting that so AGAIN I have no results. I also couldn't claim because of Rand's rule so I just decided to get lynched instead. I knew that Town would win in the end, so it didn't matter if I got killed or not. 

 

 

Reading the Mod QT I noticed that Roo watched Snow (me) at N4 and confirmed me as Town

Awww :P You were right though, I probably wouldn't have killed you if I were Smaug xD I tend to challenge myself in games even if it comes down to taking stupid risks :)

I have a question: did the no-claiming-rule only apply to characters or also for roles? Either way I think that claiming would have been bad since that would be like a mass reveal. I would rather lose the game than win in such a boring way :(

It only applied to names IIRC. You could have said you were a,watcher and gave results. There must have been some. There were some obvious people to watch. Cop, doc, masonizer.

 

It all worked out in the end tho.

Agreed. Modding two games at once seemed like it was affecting your ability to pay full attention to either one of them sometimes.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a real shame about the access issues a lot of people had during it, and of course having Christmas in the middle didn't help.

Rand I too felt like you weren't fully committed. I'm curious as to what the potential problem that you encountered was? Otherwise I thought it was a fun game, with some bad timings (DM problems, christmas).

Yeah, holidays were bad as well as DM problems. Committment problems for me were due to modding 3 games at a time, also being in 3 other games at one point, having family over for a week, and holiday committments.
