I would still like to hear from Rand. For now Unvote I still don't like Basel or his recent remarks. He doesn't really seem to be trying to help town. I would be happy to vote there or TG. First though I'd like to see if either has anything to say. Basel, if you've got something to say, then please say it. You're not looking like town. TG, I think Despo has brought up some good points against you and would like to know what you have to say to them. You saying there was a N0, which there wasn't in this game and I don't agree with the case on Despo.

Despo strikes me as honestly scumhunting so for now I'm getting a town vibe here. (I say for now becasue he has fooled me before in the past, could very well be doing the same here).

Kay: I never claimed there was any N0. If you can quote this, it would be appreciated, cause I really have no clue what you are talking about. As for me not trying to help town... I've gone looking for who looks like scum to me and I've voted them. That's what town is supposed to do, last I looked.

Mafia team = Basel, Lenlo, and TG.

Book it.

Your book is in error, Des.

This keeps bugging me. Basel, were you simply referring to yourself or do you find others scummy as well?

I was mainly referring to myself, but I didn't think Kae was mafia and that by extension applies to Len, since he replaced her. I don't have a read on TG yet, but I know that I am town and think that Len is, meaning that Des has at least two of his three suspects totally wrong.

@BG: Kay was referring to me as I said N0 mistakenly. I just meant the joke-vote first stage of the game before serious D1 play.

Okay, well that clears that up. For the record, though, TG, you may wish to not refer to me by my DM name's initials. This will just confuse people (and has in the past) as it mixes me up with bgrishinko, who actually prefers to be called BG. And he's been around DM longer than I have, so I don't quibble with him on it. (Never mind that he is dead in this game.)

Ah, of course Basel, I'll try to keep it in mind.

Hey guys I forgot to mention last night I'm off for the next couple of days so I won't be as active. Will try to catch up tomorrow and give my thoughts on everything

Ok, re-read complete and caught up. My impression so far.

2. Basel - pings me the hardest. I think it was Des that brought it up D1; the way Basel was joking with Kae, and hesitant to vote her. Basel was also very quick to jumping on Rand when he realized Rand had joke-claimed a villain character. His overall play makes me feel iffy. Especially his comeback to Des about who Des thought was mafia. Basel is my nr. 1 suspect so far. Also, Turin was after Basel, but if Basel is town that might be mafia creating WIFOM there.

3. Peace - Was the first to vote BG, but otherwise I haven't picked up any negative vibes; town feel on him.

4. Rand - Is cheerleading and jumping onto trains, but haven't really done anything scummy, town feel.

5. Tina - unsure, her opinions on lynching inactives felt off to me, especially on D1. Slight iffy feeling on Tina. Also, the way she "defended" Kae felt a bit off.

6. Kaylee - Kay has promised several times to "post her thoughts" and never do. She's done a fair bit of fence-sitting, and doesn't really come up with much opinions on her own I feel. Unsure. Second on BG's train, started the Rand-train.

8. Kae/Lenlo - Kae's play reeked to me, she pinged hardcore to me. It seems to me like Len is playing a very safe game now to avoid people remembering he actually took over for her.

9. Darthe - I'm very unsure of Darthe. One post he says things that feels way off, next he seems very town. But my gut says town.

10. Despo - I can never get a read on Des. But so far I haven't seen him do anything to indicate he's not town.

11. TGlems - Nr. 2 on my list of potential mafias. He seems like he's floundering a bit, and his case on Des and reactions afterwards pings hardcore to me. First he posts a case, then Des picks it a bit apart, and TG unvotes with a bit of flarrery (after Des had said flattery would get you anywhere with him, heh). Then TG turns around on Des again. To me it looks like he realized he had a weak case, tried to back off, and was told in a QT to stay on it...

So in conclusion, TG and Basel are my main suspects. My vote is already on TG, so I'll keep it there for now.

Thoughts anyone? Right now it seems like voting is for:

Rand for his sarcastic villain claim.

Despo for his linking of players

TG for my casing of Despo

Lenlo for Kae's earlier play

Also lots of comments about Basel's play but no actual votes.

Some pings from other players but anything else that I'm missing? Thoughts before we suddenly run into the deadline?

So, why, when you have a suspect that is "No. 1" do you not vote for them but vote for me instead? Scummy.

Also, you say that I "turn around on Des again" after initially backing off. It would be nice if you could point out where this happened.

Because we have 10 hours left to deadline, yours is the longest train, and you are my second most iffy feeling. To start a new train now, so close to deadline, is super stupid.

And what I mean about you re: Des is this:

From everything I've seen you are a good scumhunter so I have a lot to learn, so for now unvote

You posted a case, Des picked it apart, I explained some of his playstyle, and you back off it.

And then post #272:

Just because Despo is a good scumhunter doesnt mean hes scum. I have often seen him b scum and have been scum with him when it seems like he is scumhunting but is really misleading town. Also, he shall push a case on a fellow teammate to make himself look town and distancing.

He does seems to have quite a few allies. I pointed out that some of his posts weren't self consistent and awfully quickly ended up with 3 votes on me. Either there is some protecting going on, Despo really is just that good, or my case thoughts really were that weak.

12 posts later, you're back in attack-mode.

So to me, it seems like you were backing off because you got heat on you, and then decided to not let it lie after all.

So 10 hours left to deadline is why you can't see how to change your vote to the person you think is scummiest? That's awfully pingy still because you were the first to vote for me back at post #249 when I had no votes. Yet Basel gives you the worst feeling. So, from my understanding, you had a choice between voting your #1 suspect or voting me back when I had zero votes on me and still chose to vote me.

I understand your second point about how you can intrepret post #272 as me not letting it lie. What I meant was, "Huh, I thought I was trying to scumhunt, was my case really that bad?" After Des came back at me and said my case was turrible I thought if it was that bad then pretty much everyone would say, "Yeah TG, it was bad" so I was fishing to see if that really was true. My general thought was, if a couple people say it was bad they might be mafia ganging up to try and steer toward a lynch, but if everyone says it was bad then it probably was weak.

Just a reminder:

2. If no consensus is reached before the deadline, the person who is lynched will be randomly decided, and no coroner report will be provided.

Less than 10 hours until deadline...

Hell, I am so freaking tired of slow games. I am almost at the point of asking for a replacement, I didn't even realize so much time had gone by. Guys, we have to get stuff going. It is too freaking easy for scum to slip through the cracks when there is no activity! Unvote Vote TG. But I am watching the people on this train. Too often are we stuck with consolidation lately.

unvote vote Basel i think enough people agree with me. I really hate right now how everyone is saying that Basel is bad but not voting him. Reeks of weak bussing. Plus I don't like the TG train. I think we can get one on Basel done if we all go.

I think the train built up because of his weak case, and though it may be weak, I don't think it signifies hum as mafia at all.

Because a random lynch is BAD. It can mean no coroners report. That means we get a dead person that we have no info from, we don't know if it's town, mafia, potential role... Every lynch is beneficial, even when it's a townie lynch. You can then look at who voted that person, who was against voting that person, and learn from it.

When I first voted you, I wasn't done with my re-read. After my re-read and note-taking now, Basel stuck out most. And had we had more time to deadline now, I would have changed my vote. Mostly my fault, for taking so long to re-read. But I don't want a random lynch, and so I'm not changing my vote.

Posted

So who, except Basel, would you consider voting for?

Des, who I already had my vote on, and if completely necessary, TG to consolidate. Actually, I think TG should claim now, because he is probably goin to get lynched if he doesn't.

Posted

I agree. Since many are not very active we are bound to have another consolidate vote on whoever has the most votes. TG - it looks like you will be lynched if you don´t defend yourself.

Unvote. Vote Basel. No one seems to be interesting in voting Lenlo.
