Suspect: Elektra King: She was the daughter of Sir Robert King a wealthy man who married a woman of Azeri descent that fled the country immediately after the Soviet Union was established. She was kidnapped as a teenager by the terrorist Renard, and her father refused to pay the ransom on the advice of a family friend (and James Bond's boss) M. Embittered, she became Renard's Lover and participated in his scheme to bilk money from her own family but pretended to have been traumatized by the kidnapping to become a Lover to James Bond to trick him. (Bond thought she suffered from Stockholm syndrome, but he has been blinded by his affection for her.)

 

Current Status: Deceased. Bond had fallen victim to her charms and had believed her to still be a troubled kidnapped girl. She began torturing Bond in her penthouse after revealing her true plans and intents... However, at the last moment, he managed to escape her grasp despite his many injuries and shoot her.
