On the skimming thing, dunno, seems to me sometimes it's necessary to skim in order to get a general grasp on things or to focus on the dynamics that have caught you eye, find it hard to focus on all the exchanges sometimes. Then again a more careful approach is good as long as you don't mire yourself in stuff and forget the rest. I guess it comes down to quality of notes. I suppose it could be skummish, years ago I read that active lurking unlike passive lurking is a scumtell, though the same manuscript noted that fashions come and go. Anyway, I surmise it is easier for mafia to put a spin on things if one doesn't (or can claim one doesn't) know what exactly has happened. But still the dynamics are more important, says I.

Indeed they do you silly person you! However, that matters very little. The point is, you made a generality about an undiscussed topic based on your impressions and it is both false and totally unwarranted at this time. Why?

Skimming is not pro town. Ever. There is no way you think you can actually make the argument that it is.

Oh its definitely not pro town. I'm not arguing for that. I'm arguing that town is still going to do it anyways.

The thirst dominates your every thought. You've drank your daily allotment. You turn back to those following you. Several have lagged behind. "They won't make it." you mumble to yourself. If they fall back to far, I'll just take their water. Yes, they won't need it. If they can't keep up, they will die anyway. Why let a dying man drink all that water. You keep thinking, justifying. The group will go along with me on this...I think.

You keep walking, continuing to think how to play this out.

DON'T LET YOUR THIRST LET YOU LAG BEHIND.

Does anyone else find the bolded statement...interesting? Is this a reference to rule 15, perhaps, or some other gameplay mechanic that will be introduced as we go along?
